I know in Islam you people have a strong believe in Jinn (both the good and evil ones).
But op. I as a person have never heard of christian Jinns or is it in your koran ?
I have been priviledged to witness Exorcism in the Islamic way and have seen quite a number of Xtian,Jinns worshipping Yemoja or Muslim Jinns possessing people through asasi(Black Magic). Some of these Xtian Jinns mention the Churches using them for Miracles.Attimes these Jinns are victims because they are coerced to do evil by their commander with the threat of murdering their family members. In many instances ,they accept Islam and become muslims and they are tutored on how to free their families and have faith in God while some are stubborn but they eventually leave the human people after much recitation from the Quran.

Foreign AffairsHow Zionism Helped Create Saudi Arabia by cocolacec(op): 6:39pm On Jan 11, 2016
The problem is the study of British imperialism has very few students. Indeed, one can peruse any undergraduate or post-graduate British university prospectus and rarely find a module in a Politics degree on the British Empire let alone a dedicated degree or Masters degree. Of course if the European led imperialist carnage in the four years between 1914 – 1918 tickles your cerebral cells then it’s not too difficult to find an appropriate institution to teach this subject, but if you would like to delve into how and why the British Empire waged war on mankind for almost four hundred years you’re practically on your own in this endeavour. One must admit, that from the British establishment’s perspective, this is a formidable and remarkable achievement.

In late 2014, according to the American journal, “Foreign Affairs”, the Saudi petroleum Minister, Ali al-Naimi is reported to have said “His Majesty King Abdullah has always been a model for good relations between Saudi Arabia and other states and the Jewish state is no exception.” Recently, Abdullah’s successor, King Salman expressed similar concerns to those of Israel’s to the growing agreement between the United States and Iran over the latter’s nuclear programme. This led some to report that Israel and KSA presented a “united front” in their opposition to the nuclear deal. This was not the first time the Zionists and Saudis have found themselves in the same corner in dealing with a perceived common foe. In North Yemen in the 1960’s, the Saudis were financing a British imperialist led mercenary army campaign against revolutionary republicans who had assumed authority after overthrowing the authoritarian, Imam. Gamal Abdul-Nasser’s Egypt militarily backed the republicans, while the British induced the Saudis to finance and arm the remaining remnants of the Imam’s supporters. Furthermore, the British organised the Israelis to drop arms for the British proxies in North Yemen, 14 times. The British, in effect, militarily but covertly, brought the Zionists and Saudis together in 1960’s North Yemen against their common foe.

However, one must go back to the 1920’s to fully appreciate the origins of this informal and indirect alliance between Saudi Arabia and the Zionist entity. The defeat of the Ottoman Empire by British imperialism in World War One, left three distinct authorities in the Arabian peninsula: Sharif of Hijaz: Hussain bin Ali of Hijaz (in the west), Ibn Rashid of Ha’il (in the north) and Emir Ibn Saud of Najd (in the east) and his religiously fanatical followers, the Wahhabis.

Ibn Saud had entered the war early in January 1915 on the side of the British, but was quickly defeated and his British handler, William Shakespear was killed by the Ottoman Empire’s ally Ibn Rashid. This defeat greatly hampered Ibn Saud’s utility to the Empire and left him militarily hamstrung for a year.[1] The Sharif contributed the most to the Ottoman Empire’s defeat by switching allegiances and leading the so-called ‘Arab Revolt’ in June 1916 which removed the Turkish presence from Arabia. He was convinced to totally alter his position because the British had strongly led him to believe, via correspondence with Henry McMahon, the British High Commissioner in Egypt, that a unified Arab country from Gaza to the Persian Gulf will be established with the defeat of the Turks. The letters exchanged between Sharif Hussain and Henry McMahon are known as the McMahon-Hussain Correspondence.

Understandably, the Sharif as soon as the war ended wanted to hold the British to their war time promises, or what he perceived to be their war time promises, as expressed in the aforementioned correspondence. The British, on the other hand, wanted the Sharif to accept the Empire’s new reality which was a division of the Arab world between them and the French (Sykes-Picot agreement) and the implementation of the Balfour Declaration, which guaranteed ‘a national for the Jewish people’ in Palestine by colonisation with European Jews. This new reality was contained in the British written, Anglo-Hijaz Treaty, which the Sharif was profoundly averse to signing.[2] After all, the revolt of 1916 against the Turks was dubbed the ‘Arab Revolt’ not the ‘Hijazi Revolt’.

Actually, the Sharif let it be known that he will never sell out Palestine to the Empire’s Balfour Declaration; he will never acquiescence to the establishment of Zionism in Palestine or accept the new random borders drawn across Arabia by British and French imperialists. For their part the British began referring to him as an ‘obstructionist’, a ‘nuisance’ and of having a ‘recalcitrant’ attitude.

The British let it be known to the Sharif that they were prepared to take drastic measures to bring about his approval of the new reality regardless of the service that he had rendered them during the War. After the Cairo Conference in March 1921, where the new Colonial Secretary Winston Churchill met with all the British operatives in the Middle East, T.E. Lawrence (i.e. of Arabia) was dispatched to meet the Sharif to bribe and bully him to accept Britain’s Zionist colonial project in Palestine. Initially, Lawrence and the Empire offered 80,000 rupees.[3] The Sharif rejected it outright. Lawrence then offered him an annual payment of £100,000.[4] The Sharif refused to compromise and sell Palestine to British Zionism.

When financial bribery failed to persuade the Sharif, Lawrence threatened him with an Ibn Saud takeover. Lawrence claimed that “politically and militarily, the survival of Hijaz as a viable independent Hashemite kingdom was wholly dependent on the political will of Britain, who had the means to protect and maintain his rule in the region.” [5] In between negotiating with the Sharif, Lawrence made the time to visit other leaders in the Arabian peninsula and informed them that they if they don’t tow the British line and avoid entering into an alliance with the Sharif, the Empire will unleash Ibn Saud and his Wahhabis who after all is at Britain’s ‘beck and call’.[6]

Simultaneously, after the Conference, Churchill travelled to Jerusalem and met with the Sharif’s son, Abdullah, who had been made the ruler, “Emir”, of a new territory called “Transjordan.” Churchill informed Abdullah that he should persuade “his father to accept the Palestine mandate and sign a treaty to such effect,” if not “the British would unleash Ibn Saud against Hijaz.”[7] In the meantime the British were planning to unleash Ibn Saud on the ruler of Ha’il, Ibn Rashid.

Ibn Rashid had rejected all overtures from the British Empire made to him via Ibn Saud, to be another of its puppets.[8] More so, Ibn Rashid expanded his territory north to the new mandated Palestinian border as well as to the borders of Iraq in the summer of 1920. The British became concerned that an alliance maybe brewing between Ibn Rashid who controlled the northern part of the peninsula and the Sharif who controlled the western part. More so, the Empire wanted the land routes between the Palestinian ports on the Mediterranean Sea and the Persian Gulf under the rule of a friendly party. At the Cairo Conference, Churchill agreed with an imperial officer, Sir Percy Cox that “Ibn Saud should be ‘given the opportunity to occupy Hail.’”[9] By the end of 1920, the British were showering Ibn Saud with “a monthly ‘grant’ of £10,000 in gold, on top of his monthly subsidy. He also received abundant arms supplies, totalling more than 10,000 rifles, in addition to the critical siege and four field guns” with British-Indian instructors.[10] Finally, in September 1921, the British unleashed Ibn Saud on Ha’il which officially surrendered in November 1921. It was after this victory the British bestowed a new title on Ibn Saud. He was no longer to be “Emir of Najd and Chief of its Tribes” but “Sultan of Najd and its Dependencies”. Ha’il had dissolved into a dependency of the Empire’s Sultan of Najd.

If the Empire thought that the Sharif, with Ibn Saud now on his border and armed to the teeth by the British, would finally become more amenable to the division of Arabia and the British Zionist colonial project in Palestine they were short lived. A new round of talks between Abdulla’s son, acting on behalf of his father in Transjordan and the Empire resulted in a draft treaty accepting Zionism. When it was delivered to the Sharif with an accompanying letter from his son requesting that he “accept reality”, he didn’t even bother to read the treaty and instead composed a draft treaty himself rejecting the new divisions of Arabia as well as the Balfour Declaration and sent it to London to be ratified![11]

Ever since 1919 the British had gradually decreased Hussain’s subsidy to the extent that by the early 1920’s they had suspended it, while at the same time continued subsidising Ibn Saud right through the early 1920’s.[12] After a further three rounds of negotiations in Amman and London, it dawned on the Empire that Hussain will never relinquish Palestine to Great Britain’s Zionist project or accept the new divisions in Arab lands.[13]In March 1923, the British informed Ibn Saud that it will cease his subsidy but not without awarding him an advance ‘grant’ of £50,000 upfront, which amounted to a year’s subsidy.[14]

In March 1924, a year after the British awarded the ‘grant’ to Ibn Saud, the Empire announced that it had terminated all discussions with Sharif Hussain to reach an agreement.[15] Within weeks the forces of Ibn Saud and his Wahhabi followers began to administer what the British foreign secretary, Lord Curzon called the “final kick” to Sharif Hussain and attacked Hijazi territory.[16] By September 1924, Ibn Saud had overrun the summer capital of Sharif Hussain, Ta’if. The Empire then wrote to Sharif’s sons, who had been awarded kingdoms in Iraq and Transjordan not to provide any assistance to their besieged father or in diplomatic terms they were informed “to give no countenance to interference in the Hedjaz”.[17] In Ta’if, Ibn Saud’s Wahhabis committed their customary massacres, slaughtering women and children as well as going into mosques and killing traditional Islamic scholars.[18] They captured the holiest place in Islam, Mecca, in mid-October 1924. Sharif Hussain was forced to abdicate and went to exile to the Hijazi port of Akaba. He was replaced as monarch by his son Ali who made Jeddah his governmental base. As Ibn Saud moved to lay siege to the rest of Hijaz, the British found the time to begin incorporating the northern Hijazi port of Akaba into Transjordan. Fearing that Sharif Hussain may use Akaba as a base to rally Arabs against the Empire’s Ibn Saud, the Empire let it be known that in no uncertain terms that he must leave Akaba or Ibn Saud will attack the port. For his part, Sharif Hussain responded that he had, “never acknowledged the mandates on Arab countries and still protest against the British Government which has made Palestine a national home for the Jews.”[19]

Sharif Hussain was forced out of Akaba, a port he had liberated from the Ottoman Empire during the ‘Arab Revolt’, on the 18th June 1925 on HMS Cornflower.

Ibn Saud had begun his siege of Jeddah in January 1925 and the city finally surrendered in December 1925 bringing to an end over 1000 years of rule by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)’s descendants. The British officially recognised Ibn Saud as the new King of Hijaz in February 1926 with other European powers following suit within weeks. The new unified Wahhabi state was rebranded by the Empire in 1932 as the “Kingdom of Saudi Arabia” (KSA). A certain George Rendel, an officer working at the Middle East desk at the Foreign Office in London, claimed credit for the new name.

On the propaganda level, the British served the Wahhabi takeover of Hijaz on three fronts. Firstly, they portrayed and argued that Ibn Saud’s invasion of Hijaz was motivated by religious fanaticism rather than by British imperialism’s geo-political considerations.[20] This deception is propounded to this day, most recently in Adam Curtis’s acclaimed BBC “Bitter Lake” documentary, whereby he states that the “fierce intolerant vision of wahhabism” drove the “beduins” to create Saudi Arabia.[21] Secondly, the British portrayed Ibn Saud’s Wahhabi fanatics as a benign and misunderstood force who only wanted to bring Islam back to its purest form.[22] To this day, these Islamist jihadis are portrayed in the most benign manner when their armed insurrections is supported by Britain and the West such as 1980’s Afghanistan or in today’s Syria, where they are referred to in the western media as “moderate rebels.” Thirdly, British historians portray Ibn Saud as an independent force and not as a British instrument used to horn away anyone perceived to be surplus to imperial requirements. For example, Professor Eugene Rogan’s recent study on the history on Arabs claims that “Ibn Saud had no interest in fighting” the Ottoman Empire. This is far from accurate as Ibn Saud joined the war in 1915. He further disingenuously claims that Ibn Saud was only interested in advancing “his own objectives” which fortuitously always dovetailed with those of the British Empire.[23]

In conclusion, one of the most overlooked aspects of the Balfour Declaration is the British Empire’s commitment to “use their best endeavours to facilitate” the creation of “a national home for the Jewish people”. Obviously, many nations in the world today were created by the Empire but what makes Saudi Arabia’s borders distinctive is that its northern and north-eastern borders are the product of the Empire facilitating the creation of Israel. At the very least the dissolution of the two Arab sheikhdoms of Ha’il and Hijaz by Ibn Saud’s Wahhabis is based in their leaders’ rejection to facilitate the British Empire’s Zionist project in Palestine.

Therefore, it is very clear that the British Empire’s drive to impose Zionism in Palestine is embedded in the geographical DNA of contemporary Saudi Arabia. There is further irony in the fact that the two holiest sites in Islam are today governed by the Saudi clan and Wahhabi teachings because the Empire was laying the foundations for Zionism in Palestine in the 1920s. Contemporaneously, it is no surprise that both Israel and Saudi Arabia are keen in militarily intervening on the side of “moderate rebels” i.e. jihadis, in the current war on Syria, a country which covertly and overtly rejects the Zionist colonisation of Palestine.

As the United States, the ‘successor’ to the British Empire in defending western interests in the Middle East, is perceived to be growing more hesitant in engaging militarily in the Middle East, there is an inevitability that the two nations rooted in the Empire’s Balfour Declaration, Israel and Saudi Arabia, would develop a more overt alliance to defend their common interests.

Radiology department director Liu Chunguang described how he was conducting a chest scan on a patient when a “big hole” was stabbed in the side of the building forcing his patient to run to safety.

Millions of dollars worth of equipment was buried in the radiology department, along with six bodies in the hospital morgue, press officer for the hospital, Yuan Fang, told the state Xinhua news agency.

“Burying the bodies of patients in rubble is extremely disrespectful to the dead,” he said.

He confirmed the hospital has been forced to suspend activities.

Local government authorities have disputed claims people were inside during the incident and said the hospital had been asked to take down the areas designated for the road development.

TravelRe: Reconstruction Of A Forced Deportation Carried Out By The Swiss Authorities by cocolacec(op): 9:46pm On Jan 08, 2016
Five years ago, a Nigerian asylum seeker died during a forced deportation attempt from Switzerland. Now, the prosecution has dismissed the case, leaving nobody responsible for the young man’s death. Instead of re-assessing the deportation system, Swiss authorities prefer ig
Six weeks of hunger strike had weakened Joseph Chiakwa, when nine policemen entered his cell at Zurich’s deportation prison in the afternoon of March 17, 2010. The cops body-searched the Nigerian asylum seeker, tied his hands and put a boxing helmet on his head. In a nearby building, policemen constrained Chiakwa’s arms and legs and tied the 29-year-old to a special wheelchair. For a long time, signs of discomfort were ignored. As a doctor finally arrived, Chiakwa had already died.

Joseph Chiakwa was subjected to a so-called ‘Level-IV’ deportation attempt. Having spent about a year in the deportation prison, Ibrahim Moses (name changed) says that he got nervous each time rumours of upcoming special flights made rounds. “You’re afraid because in there you don’t have anyone to fight for you,” the West African asylum seeker explains. He witnessed how several inmates were forcefully deported.

“Usually the prison guards ask you to come to the second floor, without letting you know why. There they make you wait. Suddenly and by surprise, policemen overpower you.” Usually, the victim is tied up and put in a separate cell, Moses tells. “Later they come for you; six or seven cops for one person. They make you dress (in) special clothes, handcuff you and take you to another building,” the young West African says. “There they tie you up like a parcel before carrying you to the plane.”

Moses himself faced a ‘Level-II’ deportation attempt. In this scenario, the handcuffed deportee is escorted by two policemen on a scheduled flight. “I resisted on the way to the plane,” Moses says. A few years ago, even totally shackled people were occasionally deported on scheduled flights; so-called ‘Level-III’ deportations. These don’t happen any more and so Moses was taken back to prison. “If you refuse being deported on a normal flight, they may put you as a parcel on a special flight the next time,” the West African asylum seeker explains.

In 2011, Switzerland sent back 6,439 persons by air. In all 165 of these were ‘Level-IV’ cases on 33 special flights. In comparison to previous years, the number of such deportations has dropped, but Amnesty International’s refugee coordinator Denise Graf says that still many ‘Level-IV’ deportations could be avoided. “They should be absolutely exceptional,” she says, adding that preparation is often insufficient.

“In most cases, the total shackling of deportees is absolutely disproportionate,” Graf points out. She explains that ‘Level-IV’ deportations carry risks and harm the deportees’ human dignity. Amnesty demands that before any deportation attempt, a final, extensive conversation has to be held with the deportees. “The reasons that make a person resist deportation are many and often the problem could be solved easily.”

Also, Graf refers to the principle of proportionality: “The police is obliged to always choose the least harming option. However, we observe that very often the harshest possible measures are applied.” She says that in Chiakwa’s case, nearly all police interventions were escalating.
In the wake of Joseph Chiakwa’s death in 2010, the Swiss government paid 50,000 Swiss francs (55,000 dollars) to the victim’s family. “As a humanitarian gesture” and “neither compensation, nor an admission of guilt,” it stated. The family however was primarily interested in a serious investigation in Chiakwa’s death.

Two forensic evaluations ordered by the prosecution of the canton of Zurich identified malfunctions of the victim’s heart. “I don’t find them plausible,” comments Viktor Györffy, lawyer for Chiakwa’s family. “When it comes to defining the exact heart disease leading to the death, the evaluations are even contradictory.”

Based on an independent evaluation by a cardiologist, Györffy argues that relevant causes were ignored by the prosecution. “According to the cardiologist, Chiakwa’s death was caused by the hunger strike combined with the immense stress during the ‘Level-IV’ deportation attempt,” the lawyer says. He adds that even if a heart disease was concurrently causative, those responsible were culpable. “Nobody who’s lost a relative in such a way would under these circumstances accept the dismissal of the case,” says Györffy, who has filed an appeal against the prosecution’s decision.

The lawyer is supported by the human rights group ‘augenauf’. Its speaker Rolf Zopfi regards the prosecution’s investigation as biased. “Isn’t it remarkable that a 29-year-old dies in the hands of the police and a heart disease is supposedly the sole cause, while all other factors are regarded as unfortunate and ultimately irrelevant?” he asks.

After Chiakwa’s death in March 2010, Switzerland temporarily halted special deportation flights. But by June, all but those to Nigeria were resumed. The latter recommenced in January 2011, after bilateral problems were solved. Soon however, Swiss authorities faced criticism again, as the national TV station documented how policemen hit a Nigerian asylum seeker during a deportation attempt, while the police had stated that the concerned flight was carried out “without any incidents.”

It is not just human rights organisations demanding independent monitoring of forced deportations. Since January 2011, Switzerland is obliged by the European Union’s ‘Return Directive’ to “provide for an effective forced return monitoring system.” No such system has been implemented, even though Swiss authorities had long been aware of the directive’s upcoming adoption. Currently, only some deportation flights are monitored by observers who had already run a six-month pilot project for the Federal Office for Migration.

Amnesty’s Denise Graf says that transparency and independence are fundamental for any monitoring system: “The observers can’t just be another element inside the black box.” Rolf Zopfi of ‘augenauf’ says that the monitoring pilot project doesn’t question the proportionality of the system. His organisation considers ‘Level-IV’ deportations fundamentally dangerous, inhuman and disproportional and therefore categorically rejects them.

This is a reconstruction of a forced deportation carried out by the Swiss authorities. A visualization of the procedure has not yet been publicised. The film is based on numerous interviews with people that have been personally involved in the deportation procedure and on an analysis of the training material used by the Swiss police. Everyone, who lives in Switzerland without valid papers and refuses to voluntarily return to his/her home country, is in danger of being subjected to such treatment. Joseph Chiakwa died whilst bound to a chair by force in preparation for deportation in the hands of Swiss police officers on March 17th 2010.

Foreign AffairsId-checks In Place For Travellers From Denmark To Sweden by cocolacec(op): 7:14pm On Jan 04, 2016
The ID-checks started on Monday morning. People travelling from Copenhagen in Denmark to Malmö in Sweden now have to change trains at Kastrup Airport, which is the last stop before the Öresund bridge over to Sweden.

There are currently some 150 security guards scanning photo-IDs before letting people onto the platform where the train to Malmö leaves.

The press spokesperson from the Danish train company DSB, Tony Bispeskov, told Swedish Radio News that commuters travelling from Copenhagen Central Station to Malmö Central station can expect their journey to take 30 to 45 minutes longer than normal. Previously, the trip took about 35 minutes overall.

"People are lining up here. In front of me I have those guards from Securitas, from the big security company, they are in yellow vests and checking ID-cards and taking photos of each Id-card. Which takes some time, because they have to check: is there a photo? Is there a name, is there where the person i born so yes, lines are actually growing now," Alice Petrén, Swedish Radio's Migration Correspondent, told Radio Sweden

Petrén has spoken to several commuters who are annoyed that their journey to and from work will take 1-1,5 hours longer every day.

"I saw one lady, she had a new job in Lund, a city a little bit north of Malmö, and she hadn't realised that the trains didn't run that often, so she missed the train and she was looking 'wow! 40 minutes till the next one' and so of course, she was very frustrated, " said Alice Petrén.

Passengers are also worried about the photos taken of their ID's and how long the security company plan to keep them. For the security company, it is a way to prove that they actually have checked people´s photo ID's as the new rules say that transport companies that do not ensure that all passengers are carrying a valid photo ID are liable to pay a 50,000 SEK fine per trip.

"That is a concern among the travellers here, I heard several saying: 'what are they doing with the information they gather?'," said Alice Petrén.

But there is also a concern how the checks will effect the economy in the region. Bispeskov at the Danish rail company DSB told Swedish Radio News that just the checks are costing the company 1 million Danish krona extra per day. According to the independent Öresundsinstitutet, there are over 15,000 people commuting over the Öresound between Denmark and Sweden every day.

Since November, Swedish police have been checking the IDs of people travelling from Denmark, but the controls were random. But still, some 2,000 refugees have been coming every day to apply for asylum in Sweden, which, according to the government, is still more than Sweden can manage. In December, the parliament voted in favour of introducing the new rules that place the responsibility for the ID-checks on the transport companies from Monday the 4th of January.

It felt like it was a diet version of the Berlin wall and it's actually more intimidating than you think when you need to show your identity card like that to a guard and you know they are keeping it somewhere in a cloud," he told The Local. "Three out of four trains have been cancelled as a result of the checks (...) The commuting system is the blood system of a metropolitan economy. It will stop the blood flowing," he said.

5. Emma Ohlin, Swedish resident
25-year-old Ohlin works in a rail ticket office in Malmö in southern Sweden and says she is worried about her job becoming more stressful in the coming weeks. “Yes, since I meet many travellers who miss their trains in Sweden or demand compensation for cancelled trains," she told The Local, adding that she was already fielding plenty of questions about the new rules.

“Generally I think it is a bad decision. The Öresund bridge was not designed for ID checks and I know many people who commute who are going to have considerably longer and more complicated journeys. I believe that it will affect the Öresund region in a negative way,” she said.

Expensive taxi journeys, fear of profit loss and guilt about complaining as the refugee crisis continues. We spoke to locals affected by the new checks on rail travellers using the Öresund bridge.

For the first time in half a century, Sweden is demanding photo identification for all rail travellers from Denmark as part of efforts to stem the flow of refugees between the two Nordic nations. The move is set to have an impact on 8,600 daily commuters who take the train over the Öresund bridge, as well as residents who use the connection to have meetings, shop or visit friends and family in Denmark and holidaymakers travelling around, to or from Scandinavia. The Local has spoken to some of those affected.

1. Nicholas Bean, British commuter
Bean, who works in marketing, only got a job in Copenhagen four months ago and described the changes as "really bad timing" for him, noting that his travel time was set to increase by up to an hour each day. The Briton, who is married to a Swede and has been living in Malmö for two years, said his first journey since the checks started had gone "pretty smoothly" on Monday morning, but that he was still disappointed in the government's decision.

"The whole idea of it is ridiculous nonsense. It's a sticking plaster on a problem that is much, much bigger," the expat said. But he told The Local he felt it was "hard to not sound like an idiot" when discussing the impact on commuters because he was well aware that there were "people living in tent camps" and "thousands of others who want refuge and need to seek refuge" in Sweden in the coming months. "The checks are not going to stop people coming," he argued.

2. David Nyman, Swedish visitor
After a night out in Copenhagen, Swedish journalist David Nyman was stopped from returning to Malmö at around 2am on Monday morning. He had failed to take his passport, national identity card or driving licence with him before the checks were introduced and attempted to persuade security staff that his press card should be considered adequate identifcation.

"I got denied because the guards argued that my press ID was not good enough as an ID card," he told The Local. He said he was "tired and really wanted to go home" and decided to take a taxi instead, at the cost of 1,000 kronor ($118). "This money I will demand to get back," he said. "I don’t think we should need ID documents to be able to travel between European countries."

3. Rolf Olsson, Swedish pensioner

Olsson, 71, who lives in Malmö, is in favour of the checks, despite being a regular visitor to Copenhagen. "I think it's good because we have far too many refugees in Sweden," he told The Local's reporter Richard Orange at Copenhagen's Kastrup airport. "It has to start somewhere. At the beginning everybody complains and says it's too tough, but after a month or so, everything will calm down. It should have been done a lot earlier."

He argued that Sweden's national government has not paid close enough attention to how the refugee crisis is affecting the country's third largest city, which has long been a hub for immigrants.

“Stockholm doesn't understand Malmö,” he said.

4. Per Tryding, Swedish businessman

A regular traveller between Malmö and Copenhagen, Tryding is deputy CEO of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Southern Sweden. He spent Monday morning at Copenhagen airport's Kastrup train station, giving media interviews outlining his argument that the new border checks could have a major impact on business in the Öresund region.

In a squalid tent camp on the border, with temperatures barely above freezing, a young, married couple are in turmoil.

Macedonian authorities are only letting Afghan, Syrian and Iraqi refugees enter from Greece en route to western Europe.

And while Afghan national Abos is eligible to make the crossing, his wife Nasim can't join him, as she is Iranian.

She claims Macedonian officials have even suggested the pair divorce so that at least one of them can continue the journey to Germany. She claims Macedonian officials have even suggested the pair divorce so that at least one of them can continue the journey to Germany.

“We don’t want that,” insisted Nasim, whose extended family of 21 Iranians are also unlikely to be allowed in.

“We want to be together.”

Greece, the main entry point into the EU for migrants and refugees, has agreed to accept help from the bloc’s border agency Frontex.

Athens says that Europe, so far, has failed to do enough.

“Since May, Greece has persistently been asking for technical, technological and staffing help and what it has received from Europe is far less than what was asked for,” said Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Nikos Xydakis.

Tension has already erupted at the border where a Macedonian fence remains firmly shut to some 3,000 Moroccans, Pakistanis, Iranians and others.

No one, of course, has yet been able to explain the rock solid association between premarital virginity and decreased risk of divorce. These women, either through partner choice or personal quality have “something” which protects them against life’s vicissitudes. No “scientific” explanation is yet forthcoming. Yet for the non-virginal, the bulk of data available seems to indicate a positive correlation between partner count and divorce. I can’t but help but . . . wonder if promiscuity is a mechanism of desoulment . It’s a good an explanation as any.

Tashica Jacobsen of The United Families International Blog writes, Aug. 27, 2014:

Sexual intimacy is a uniting act. It unites people in the ultimate way; no other act can do this. “It is the union of their whole selves—heart, mind, flesh, spirit.” But what we are teaching our children is to disconnect this act from others, and focus solely on personal gratification. If we cannot connect the most uniting form of human expression with another person, how is it that we are able to interact and connect with others on a day to day basis? We won’t be able to. We will start to view every interaction in terms of our wants and desires, regardless of others . . . .

Given the confusion and destruction of relationships that comes as we devalue sex, it is easy to see why sexual active teens are more likely to suffer from depression and attempt suicide. This new standard of morality is destroying relationships leading to isolation that then spills over into other aspects of our lives making us even more selfish, isolated, and alone.

To conclude, schools and media are not telling you the truth about sex. The scientific data we have all point to how wrong our “hook-up” pop culture is, as if the human person is merely Instruments and we are defined solely and completely by our sex and gender.

The simple truth is this: Our health (physical and emotional) as individuals and as a society is found in chastity and long-term monogamous relationships.

how Promiscuity affects Mental Health

Writing in Psychology Today, psychologist Stephen A. Diamond points out that sexual promiscuity “can be commonly seen in various mental disorders such as psychosis, manic episodes, substance abuse and dependence, dissociative identity disorder, as well as borderline, narcissistic and antisocial personalities”. More than that, promiscuity “can, in fact, often be partially diagnostic of such pathological conditions.” Examples include the diagnostic criterion of impulsive behaviors like reckless sex in Borderline Personality Disorder, as well as the often dangerously-heightened sexual drive and behavior in the manic phase of Bipolar Disorder.

Dr. Deirdre Fitzgerald notes that sexual promiscuity impacts one’s emotional health in that “making dangerous choices . . . lead to more and more risk. This cycle can lead to problems with self-concept, ineffective relationships, and even depression.” With depression, promiscuity may actually be a symptom as well as an effect of depression. Promiscuity is also a way for the mentally troubled to avoid dealing with their issues.

In a study on adolescent sex and marital stability, which was published in 2011 in Adolescent Sexuality and The Risk of Marital Dissolution, Anthony Paik found a paucity of nationally representative studies — only four — examining whether premarital sexual experiences are linked to divorce. (The paper is available from here.) But the core finding is emphatic, which is that premarital sex is associated with increased risks of divorce or marital instability.

Here are Paik’s findings from an examination of the sexual histories of approximately 3,800 women taken from the 2002 U.S. National Survey of Family Growth:

Women who had premarital sex only with their future husbands did not have higher risks of marital dissolution, which suggests that the premarital-sex effect on divorce is related primarily to having sex with multiple partners.
Women who had unwanted first sex were at increased risk of divorce.
Women who had sex prior to 16 years of age were at increased risk of divorce, regardless of whether the sex was wanted or not.
Women who had sex after 16 were not at greater risk of divorce if they had only ever slept with one man. Once they had slept with more than one they were at increased risk of divorce. In other words, women who are prone to divorce are not born but are made that way.
The increased rate of divorce amongst co-habitors is due to their multiple partner count.
Virgin brides have the most stable marriages.
Mark Gungor is a much sought-after speaker on marriage and family. In March 2009 on his radio show, The Mark Gungor Show, he said:

Science shows us that when a woman has sex with a man, a chemical called oxytocin is released into her system. Oxytocin is a neuro-peptide most commonly associated with pregnancy and breast-feeding. It seems to act as a human superglue and helps a woman bond with her infant. This chemical also helps a woman bond with her lover during sex. New scientific studies, however, suggest that if a woman has multiple sexual partners, this will lower her levels of oxytocin which in turn can inhibit her ability to bond to her husband. According to an article by Drs. John Diggs and Eric Keroack, “People who have misused their sexual faculty and become bonded to multiple persons will diminish the power of oxytocin to maintain a permanent bond with an individual.”

. . . I believe that men can have the most to lose. Why? Because a sexually promiscuous woman, despite lowered levels of oxytocin and a less than positive attitude toward sex in general, still is internally wired to WANT to connect with her husband. Indeed, that desire is so strong, it causes her to fight through many of the negative side affects of her previous sexual experiences. A man, however, has no such natural “wiring”. If he fails to properly “imprint” and bond to the wife of his youth, he may spend the rest of his life in a disconnected state from her – indeed, from any woman . . . and foolishly turn to porn, affairs, lust, etc… All which can have severe negative consequences to his marriage.

How promiscuity leads to increasingly abnormal sexual behaviors

Quoting the late Rollo May’s observation that in a purely sexual (i.e., merely physically intimate) relationship, “it is only a matter of time before the partners experience feelings of emptiness,” psychologist Stephen Diamond explains this is exactly what sexual addiction is all about. The initial “high” from sex rapidly fades away. And then the sex addict searches for that next “fix.” Over and over and over.

Before long, the next “fix” becomes more extreme, so as to deliver the same “high”. Charlie Sheen exemplifies this trajectory. He also demonstrates that homosexual behaviors are not inborn or genetic, but can be acquired.

How promiscuity affects one’s soul and society

The following information on Charlie Sheen’s promiscuity is from the December 7, 2015 print edition of The National Enquirer — the lowly supermarket tabloid that, unlike regular newspapers, had the gumption to investigate the widespread rumors in Hollywood of Sheen having HIV, and so broke the story:
Sheen directly or indirectly exposed as many as 1,483 sex partners, men and women, to the HIV virus since being diagnosed 4 years ago.
In 2013, two years after he discovered he has HIV, Sheen spent $1.62 million on “escorts,” i.e., prostitutes.
Sheen “had a penchant” for porn stars and prostitutes — of both sexes, and those in-between. The latter are male-to-female transsexuals, that is, biological males with breast implants.
Sheen had a long-running “affair” with a “gay Hollywood gadfly” who has a home video of the two “indulging in hardcore sex”.
There is another videotape showing Sheen “smoking crack cocaine and performing MouthAction” on a male in Las Vegas.
Sheen believes he got HIV from a “petite, naturally-endowed [has a penis]” transsexual “porn princess,” whom he’d hired for a $20,000 “romp” at his Los Angeles mansion. The “romp” was without “protection” (no condoms) and recorded on tape. Sheen’s team of fixers bought the “tranny tape” for millions of dollars and presumably destroyed it. The transsexual has not been seen for some time. “Multiple sources” told The Enquirer that “she has died”.
Charlie Sheen is a grotesque example of the destructive effects of promiscuity. As Chris Iliades, M.D., put it in Everyday Health, “Society puts an emphasis on sexuality — but casual sex can impact your physical and emotional health in ways that you may not suspect.”
how promiscuity affects Physical health

From Everyday Health:

Can promiscuity threaten your longevity? The short answer is yes. Having a large number of sexual partners has been linked to poor sexual health and decreased longevity. Why? The more sexual partners you have, the greater your risk for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) like HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening conditions like prostate cancer, cervical cancer, and oral cancer.

assistant professor of psychology at Eastern Connecticut State University, explains: “Promiscuity is one example of a class of high-risk behaviors. It is comparable to, and may coincide with, behaviors such as heavy drinking, gambling, and other thrill-seeking behaviors like driving too fast.”

Don’t believe the myths that you can’t get STDs unless you have sexual intercourse or that you can’t get them from oral or anal sex. Many viruses and bacteria that cause STDs can enter your bloodstream through tiny cuts in your mouth, anus, or the outer parts of your genitals.

Here’s a rundown of physical risks you face from promiscuity:

STDs: The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that 19 million new STD infections occur each year. Among the most common STDs are chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis, but the most common of all is the human papillomavirus (HPV). HPV can infect the mouth or the genitals, and most people do not know they are infected. HPV has been linked to cervical cancer and to oral and throat cancers.
HIV and AIDS: Being promiscuous and having STDs both increase your susceptibility to the AIDS virus. Despite better education and treatment, AIDS still killed more than 14,000 Americans in 2007.
Other health conditions: If promiscuity is combined with other risky behaviors like smoking, heavy drinking, substance abuse, not getting enough sleep, and poor diet, it can contribute to several chronic diseases including heart disease.
Physical abuse: Research shows the couples who are in long-term relationships are much less likely to suffer from domestic violence.

The capacity to love, to form close and lastingly intimate connections or attachments with others, is one of the fundamental pillars of mental health.

Sexual promiscuity is defined by the Oxford Dictionary as many transient, casual, or indiscriminate sexual relationships. The word “indiscriminate,” in turn, is defined as “done at random or without careful judgment”.

Sexual promiscuity, therefore, is sexual behavior without love, attachment, or lasting intimacy. So it should not surprise us that sexual promiscuity, in addition to the health risks, is damaging to our mental and spiritual wellbeing.

But no one talks about it.

Instead, in our culture today, being a sexual libertine is celebrated and “celebrities” like Miley Cyrus parade their sluttiness as a peculiar form of accomplishment. As C. S. Lewis presciently observed, “Sexual intercourse is rapidly becoming the one thing venerated in a world without veneration.”

So brainwashed are we that when Burt Reynolds, 79, appearing on the Dec. 8 episode of British talk show Loose Women, said that he had no sympathy for Charlie Sheen being diagnosed with HIV, and that Sheen “deserves” the diagnosis because he “misbehaved badly,” the audience reacted with “shock” and disapproval — not at Sheen, but at Reynolds.
