Magnifico2000: Oh. I see! It is now you know we are in sesson 7 qwa? I can see tgere is nothing i would say to stop ur love from sansa. You are confused and it shows that you Dont understand things in their context. My reference of " season 1 qwa" only buttresses my point that we are in season 7 but you are still referencing stupid things sansa did in season 1. Sansa has been naive and stupid, we agree, but she ain't as naive and stupid as you want us to believe by continually referencing things she did in season 1. I am a little impressed with the way she is even handling the Lords at wintefell unlike arya who already talking about beheading people because they are agitated with Jon snows absence. |

Just because of joeffrey.. sansa has done despicable and silly things. Guy stop yarning like a child na. Stop equating the little naive girl sansa was with what she is now that she has been through a lot. Season 1 qwa ! TheKingIsHere: Atleast Arya would be smart enough to know that the lannisters were lying. Arya wouldn't have written that letter but will rather die than to betray her family unlike the dumb treacherous witch called Sansa. So you think it was only the letter sansa was deceived to write that made them kill Ned. That's just lame. Joffrey was a mad man who gave an order to kill Ned, the letter was meant to humiliate Ned and put him on the disadvantage as someone who had committed treason which someone like cersei would have been satisfied with. |

You make it sound like sansa definitely knew she was betrayib her family and still did it. She was a little girl naive and stupid sincerely thinking it was going to save her father and it could have only for the unpredictable joffrey to give the order for Ned to be killed. If you noticed even cersei and others were surprised with that order from king ng joffrey. |

gj22: The dead army are thousands of not millions.
They are mindless.
You are assuming that the nights king is always present where they are.
Have you forgotten that one of them attacked at the wall in an earlier season that Jon killed?
Was the nights king with that one too? Thank you. Another example was just before they got to the where the 3eyed raven was, the old man in the cave that bran took over from. The NK was not there when the wights attacked and killed meeras brother, jojen. So its very possible that they can encounter some wights without the presence of the NK and perhaps capture one. Am sure Jon's supposed uncle benjen will play a vital role here. |

Oasis007:

I get your Point Dude..... but I still believe Arya is smarter than Sansa. I also think arya is smarter than sansa but we are discussing them based on the situations they found themselves. Sansas foolishness or playing the fool (whichever one) kept her alive in KL. all the times she was beaten, humiliated and even made to look at her fathers head on a spike could only be taken f she played as a fool. If it was arya that was told to look at her fathers head we all know agree she will go beserk and that would be the end of her. |

If Arya also was an Hostage, not in Chain and with freedom to roam, she wouldn't hesitate to do the needful! Guy fashy this your line of thought. Before arya realises that she needs to be a little diplomatic to survive KL,She would have been dead because as at that time she was incapable of being diplomatic. Her nature will not allow her, she always wants to act. Let's not use the assassin status she has become to assess her when she was in KL as a child. |

Magnifico2000: Who remembers maester pycelle. No one is talking about him. Do you think he desrved to die too in that wild fire in the sept?? You ask too many irrelevant questions. Pycelle did not die in the sept, he was knifed many times by the little spies qyborn had assembled. Magnifico2000: Those lannister soldiers that surrendered to Dany, will they join her army or be allowed to go home? They were to bend the knee and join her. They bent the knee. Wait for subsequent episode to confirm. Magnifico2000: If sams archmaester had told him of his father and brother's dath, do u think sam will be happy with Dany? Has Sam even met dany? He would be upset but it doest really matter because Sam is working with Jon. Magnifico2000: It seems jamie will purnish ser bronn for arranging a neeting with his brother. Why? Jamie even saw reason with what tyrion suggested. Magnifico2000: I slightly disagree with you here. Remember when the children of the forest prepared a fire to surround the entrance of the cave. The night king and his army still pass through the fire. So what could have happened there? Bran had wagged irresponsibly and while he was at it the NK touched him, that gave them the pass to enter the cave. |

Naboo: I've watched episode 4 of season 7 over and over again, but I'm still wondering why bron was unchallenged after the first shot he fired at drogo. Just before he took the second shot, the was a Dothraki behind him. They were busy killing other Lannister soldiers and kinda missed bron. its war chaos, you make it sound like there were some dothraki soldiers soaking garri and kuli kuli, in the background nonchalantly watching bron take aim at deanerys and her dragon and decided to do nothing. make una try watch the film and enjoy am na. The plot and acting in this movie has been excellent, cut them some slack with the few mistakes and illogical scenes they may exhibit. |

Leyqute: Your optimism is beautiful.
Make we sha no fvck up like last season. Everybody needs to start creatimg chances and scoring goals. Everybody from Matic upwards.
I have a feeling Mkhi will explode this season. Dude seems to have a growing understanding of things. I'll puy my money on him to hit double figures in the EPL for both goals and assists. Mhiki will only achieve this if he is played in his best position which is not the right wing. Lincolnn2: We're supposed to be working on fixing our dead right wing position, which means going for a good, natural right winger to man that position. Instead, we're chasing after Ivan Perisic, a known left-winger to come and do what exactly? Take over the left-wing from Martial? For how many years, thereby stunting Martial's growth and progress. We don't need Perisic, unless he can man the right-wing position as effective as he does on the left-wing. I give it to you that Anthony Martial can own that left wing, he just needs the manager's trust and confidence at all times, including sufficient game times. We know what he's capable of doing, the talent is there. Why stunt his growth?
We should focus on getting a natural right winger, someone who can do the job effectively, he doesn't have to cost gazillions before we look in his direction. I wonder why we're not bidding for Riyadh Marez.
And for the left-back position, I trust Luke Shaw is in that position. He just needs to fix his injury woes, and he'll come good.
We should be more concerned about getting a proper right winger. I don't know why JM is not looking at that right flank. The matter don tire everybody. The right wing is dead so atkeast a mahrez there would count for something with Valencia behind him. |

MaziOmenuko: That arya display with Briene was lovely to watch...but if my physics was thought right, then momentum is a product of mass and velocity. Theres no way Arya's little office pin will stand against Briene's sword with large mass, wield by such velocity as she did: the momentum would be wrist-crushing.
All in all, it was lovely to see Arya move with such precision as her teacher. The focus on her face when the office-pin eventually fell off was awesome.
I understand exactly how Sansa feels. Her once beloved siblings are something else; one is a 3-eyed raven and the other a brutal assassin or, in her words, 'No-One'. And to think Brienne's sword is valaryan steel. |

Is being the lord of winter fell the same as being the king in the north?
I think what sansa meant when she asked that question was not to challenge Jon but she felt as he was the true born of their father he had the right to be lord of winterfell.
Jon is king. Or am I missing something here. |

Politics › Re: New Minimum Wage: NASS Ready, Waiting For Executive – Saraki by codedguy1(m): 9:34pm On Aug 04, 2017 |
omohayek: You can't say you want "true federalism" while also demanding that the national minimum wage be increased - a true step in the direction of "true federalism" would be to abolish the national minimum wage and allow all the states complete freedom to set whatever minimum they desire, but I doubt many of the fans of "true federalism" on here would support that.
If you have a problem with the outrageous salaries and bonuses NASS members receive, fine, you're in good company, as I feel the same way, and I'm sure most people would agree outside the NASS members and their families. The right way to deal with that problem, however, is to get rid of all those ridiculous "allowances" and cut the NASS members' salaries to much lower levels, not to bankrupt the entire country paying inflated wages to an oversized public sector, even as vital infrastructure like roads and bridges are left to continue to decay. The truth is that Nigeria is an evil forest, calling it a zoo or jungle is a disservice to them. What does one do to get rid of an evil forest? Expecting the nass to on their own decide to reduce their salaries and allowances is a very tall order. Something extra ordinary needs to happen to get rid of an evil forest like Nigeria. Demanding for the minimum wage increase is because no one expects these nass members to reduce what they earn so that we all know that the discrepancies in the gap in what they earn is reasonable with others. The easiest demand is to ask for a minimum wage review. I tell you those guys would rather the country goes bankrupt than reduce that which they earn, hence my position that let them increase and let the country spiral into bankruptcy, maybe then our brains will be reset. I prefer restructuring/true federalism to the review of the minimum wage but we all saw how the bill was defeated in the house, so why won't the advocates for minimum wage demand for what they feel is easier to get. The retarded dingbats in that house know what to do but the northern ones feel it will impoverish them and their region and would defeat the bill because of their number. Some of the southern ones am sure were happy it was defeated so that they can continue earning what they earn. |
Politics › Re: New Minimum Wage: NASS Ready, Waiting For Executive – Saraki by codedguy1(m): 7:19pm On Aug 04, 2017 |
omohayek: The economic illiteracy on display here is just staggering! I can understand why public sector workers would be jubilant at news like this, but why is everyone else celebrating the impending worsening of a problem that has already done so much damage to Nigeria's development? Do all of you really imagine that the primary purpose of government should be to hire huge numbers of workers to do very little, and then to spend most of its income paying salaries to them, even at the cost of taking loans abroad? Because that is what the situation currently is. Nigeria simply can't afford a uniform N18,000 minimum wage, let alone to raise it to N56,000.
If all you want or expect from government is handouts to hundreds of thousands of underemployed and under-qualified "workers", then by all means cheer on this bit of populist idiocy by Saraki and company. If you expect a government to actually be able to deliver amenities like decent roads, airports, hospitals, universities and so forth, then you have nothing to celebrate here, because there is already almost nothing left over for development at either the state or federal levels after the various governments are done settling their wage arrears: even Fashola's "huge" $1billion infrastructure budget last year was less than London spent refurbishing on a single underground station, and yet people are shocked that he wasn't able to repair every road with such a paltry amount, but guess what? That's what you have to make do with when recurrent expenditure in the form of salaries eats up 70% of your budget.
This measure will only guarantee the bankruptcy of both the federal and the state governments, most of the latter of which are already teetering on the edge of insolvency. Agree with you. But let them demand for the increament and let the bankruptcy of the govt come. Is that not why people are agitating for true federalism/resource control or regionalism so that regions grow at their own pace and minimum wage in one state or region would be different from some others and I dare say that if every region truly harnesses its potential that no region will pay 18k as minimum wage. 18k minimum wage is travesty while we have nass members earning humongous salaries and allowances and they Dont know that the country will be bankrupt but when minimum wage is asked to be increased that's when the economy will suffer. |

Pavarottii: Minimum wage is presented by the executive anywhere in the world. And who told u it won't benefit dem. They might gupple 40million a month,(senator) pay. If it is increased. The minimum wage affects everybody under the fg payment role. Fair enough, my point is when something is to benefit the masses they foot drag about it. Both executhieves and legislooters. They are already comfortable with what they earn, but the ordinary man out there that would be looking forward to the increasment will wait until he is almost dead before anything would be passed. These guys already earn above a living wage while people are earning 18k that some senators use to polish their shoes weekly. |

But Tyrion was 'The gift' of that episode. Fm4real06: Was it not that same episode that ser jorah presented tyrion to deanerys?? Why Dont we follow the trail of the augument and stop confusing yourselves. Yes tyrion was jorahs gift to daenerys, but the trail of the argument was whether little finger had a hand in jeoffreys death and when ollena and little finger met in his brothel ollena said they had killed a king and if she goes down she wont go down alone, little finger now gave her a gift to percify her which was the info about lancel and cercei shagging each other. The high septon now used it to imprison cercei. Everyone knows tyrion was jorahs gift to daenerys. |
