Within an organization, you are bounded by its rules and regulations. Anything outside that rule is said to be deliberate sabotage or mutiny. This is a case of doing the right thing in the wrong way.

If what he said is true, from the constitution the General has lost his loyalty because his subordinates have lost confidence in him. But does the constitution say you should castigate your superior in public? How does the Army constitution suggest ways of airing out your grievances against your superior? I think this is a case of doing the right thing the wrong way & he will surely be made a scapegoat as the constitution does not condone public chastisement of superiors.
