Someone listed many factors and u are basking on tribalism. Show me one company, ministry etc that doesn’t have other tribes besides the big 3. Yes there is not tribalism in the land.
There are many companies that consists mainly of 1 tribe or at worse 2 tribes.

Many state governments consists mainly of 1 tribe.

Unfortunately while we were in deep sleep corruption, mediocrity, godfatherism, tribalism, favouritism, nepotism, ineptitude, incompetence took over our NFA now NFF.

We must realise that while we were in a deep comotose sleep other nations , were wide awake building up their football ⚽ development. Andbsime have left us behind or are now able to compete.

Top level entertainment football is still being played at the highest levels.of football ⚽ just not by us sadly and UNFORTUNATELY.
Joebie:
Very true. Think Senegal.

Our stupidity will always come back to bite us. Make we continue the Owambe and tribalism
If there was corruption, godfatherism, tribalism, favouritism, nepotism then Finidi would have never gotten the S.E job it will be Ndubuisi Egbo that would have gotten the job..

if there was tribalism then the N.F.F will be filled with mainly Igbos, Yorubas and Hausas

if there was tribalism then the S.E would have topped the group because the Igbos, Yorubas would have done everything to ensure their foreign born players are capped.. how would Eze, Tella be invited and not capped that is madness..

if there was tribalism then the S.E would have a playing pattern because most of the players will come from one ethnic nation and would understand each other better the same way the Catalans helped Spain win the Euros and World Cup and created a playing pattern that the whole of Spain has adopted and integrated if it was Nigeria another ethnic nation would have rubbished and talked down on the pattern..

if there was tribalism then the S.E would play as a unit because most of them will come from the same academy..

the only way S.E can do well is for both government and private sector to invest in training facilities... that's the way France gets people from different cultures to blend and play well and they also maintain the Coach Deschamps that took them to finals...

You cannot get people from different cultures who don't train together often and don't have a playing and coaching pattern to dominate games they will have to play Mourinho or Simeone pattern of football..

If I pick a team based on corruption, godfatherism, tribalism, favouritism, nepotism and with foreign born players then my starting 11 will be:

Karim Adeyemi as LSS
Elijah Adebayo or Osimhen as CF
Lookman as CAM/SS
Saka as RW/RSS ( if he wasn't capped by england ) or Amoo regardless of his issues.
Onyedika as CM
Tijani or Onyeka as DM
Osho or Udogie as LB
Alaba as CB
Akanji or Ekong as CB
Ola Aina as RB
Okoye as GK

Very rarely do your have players playing the traditional wing play staying out wide, sometimes you have a fusion.

Liverpool play with two inverted wingers and of anybody is going wife it's the wing back 🔙. You will constantly see Diaz , Jota , Salah even Nunez ( he struggles with this formation) coming in inverted.

Arsenal with Saka play such intricate positional interchange, it's difficult to say exactly the level of positional play. Not surprising Saka scored the most goals and had the most assists.

At the heart ❤️ of the matter is the quality of the players. Ronaldo played from the left but you wouldn't call him a traditional winger.

With regards to Ejuke would you really drop Ademola for him 😲😲
stop putting words in the TheGoodJoe mouth.. he did not say anything about dropping Lookman..

He said Ejuke should have been called up...

Any sensible person who watches football and knows player positioning well also knows that Lookman should be in a central position or make moves into the Central position he can't do that when he is on left wing and no one is helping to cover and defend the left wing..

Super Eagles formation is very easy to create unless its a sentimental coach that's coaching them...

Ejuke on the LW or Moses Simon
Boniface as Central Striker if Osimhen is not available
Chukwueze on the RW
Lookman as CAM or SS behind the striker
Iwobi as CM with license to attack so its a CAM/CM role
Onyeka as DM if Onyedika is not available
Zaidu as LB
Bassey as LCB if Ekong is not available
Ajayi as RCB if Ekong or Ndidi is not available
Ola Aina as RB
Nwabali as GK

S.E can also play with 3-5-2 or 3-5-1-1 but the wingers will have to also drop back defend which is something S.E wingers don't like doing that's why Adingra got an assist in AFCON..

3-5-1-1 or 3-3-3-1 will be

Boniface as CF

Lookman as SS
Ejuke as LW
Chukwueze as RW

Iwobi as CAM/CM
OnyeKa as DM
Onyedika as DM

Bassey as LCB
Ajayi as CB
Ola Aina as RCB

Nwabali as GK

Yup. I said exactly the same thing on Twitter. That was a clear penalty every day and twice on Sunday. And I hope that the NFF will file a petition for that missed call.

I was surprised that a game of that magnitude didn’t have VAR.

O pari
The NFF are the ones meant to provide the facilities and infrastructure for VAR and insist on VAR..

It is the incompetence of the NFF that there was no VAR in this match.

So it will be foolish of the NFF to file a petition just to hide their incompetency.

so 30 billion USD top line from global operations is VERY POSSIBLE
You're correct.

The person I quoted did not factor in taxes to the FG. if taxes are factored in that means D:angote refinery will make between $70 billion and $90 billion before taxes by the end of the year.

So I expect Nigeria's annual budget to triple to around ₦89 Trillion or more from ₦27 Trillion.

The days of crude oil or export or raw material are over.
D:angote was not specific...

but if D:angote says $30 billion revenue then I assume he is talking about profit after taxation which means the D:angote refinery will pay over $50 billion - $70 billion as tax to the Federal Government..

Nigeria's budget for 2024 is ₦27 Trillion which is around $18 billions..

A company can not make more revenue than the country it is in unless the country signs an evil contract like the one T:otal offered Congo where T:otal gets 63%..

What happened to cocoa production ?
The price has quadrupled this year alone in the international market
The government does not have Cocoa company the same way it has Nigeria National Petroleum Company ( NNPC ) so the only people making money from cocoa are private farmers and companies that export cocoa.

The government will only get taxes from these companies.

That is one of the reasons Nigeria is not reaching it's true potential of been a multi trillion dollar economy..

More NNPC like companies in other industries need to be created for Nigeria to reach its potential.

Finidi does not like Lookman... He would intentionally play Lookman out of position just to see Lookman fail or bench him..

up to this day, the white control 80 percent of south African economy. Who ever told you that, black south Africans are responsible for the development of South Africa lied to you. Up till now, black south Africans are considered lazy and unproductive you can't compare the brain of the entire black south Africans to one Nigerian brain

Id south African budget is 150 billion dollars while Nigeria has 18 billion, at the end of the day you should consider utilisation of those funds. The entire 150 billions budgeted for the development of South Africa will go for the intended budget while more than half of that of Nigerian will end up in private accounts which some of the Nigerian budget stolen will be taken to south Africa and other part of the world.
This is the reason why, by next year, south Africa utilisation will take south African budget to 200 billion for the development of South Africa while Nigerian budget might increase to 20 billion and 16 billion will be looted.

And again, have you bothered to compare Nigerian resources to that of south Africa?..no' is the answer I guess . because id you do, you will be asking yourself where is our resource going to?
Black south Africans are the ones who allocate the $150B for development projects across South Africa and ensure the projects get completed..

Whytes control the businesses in S.A not the government..

after building the schools and educating ourselves, here is where we are .do you have anything to show for our education?....

Let's take south Africa for instance, I am sure you are aware that, Nigeria is 10 times behind south Africa in terms of infrastructural and every aspect of development? . Who made it possible?...the whites I guess.

All that you listed up there, the schools, kanji dam.. etc, do we still have any useful one today?..the answer is "No"..our government owned schools are shit-holes, we can't boast of 1 hour steady power supply,..so you just tell me something different because the last time I checked, Nigeria was far better during the colonial period than even now. At least then, it was work in progress, but today what is our excuse?

As I said earlier and will always say, we have only two solutions to Nigeria problem...either we divide the country or the common man rise up and start killing Nigeria leaders and their relatives...
England did not build primary schools, secondary schools, universities, health centers, hospitals, stadiums, technical institutes, vocation centers, maternity hospitals, pediatric hospitals, sports centers, housing estates, roads e.t.c. all over Nigeria between 1830 and 1960 and after..

they took the billions they made from Nigeria and other places they colonized and used it to build England they did not use it to build Nigeria and the other places they colonized.

the South Africa you see today was build by black South Africans.

In the early 80s and 90s, South Africa was still going through A:partheid.

After S.A Independence in 1994, black south africans could get better paying jobs and govt jobs. Black south Africans also inherited a good infrastructural planning system and they should be credited for sticking to that system and building better things on that system..

Nigeria's annual budget is $18B while S:outh Africa's annual budget is $150B so obviously S.A has more money for development than Nigeria.

There could be an agreement with the U:S since W:orld Bank has a stake in the refinery which again is as a result of Nigerias politicians generation suffering from colonial mentality.
