Were back people the only victims of those manufactured diseases?

How many black people surported Ghaddafi's cause?

Look, this victim narrative is what keeps selling us short. If we continue to wallow in it rather than chart a new course that puts us on the path of progress, we'll keep whinning with nothing to show for it.

It all starts with depriving feudalists like Balablu power, because he and his likes are weapons fashioned against our progress, but you'll disagree because you're all for the ethnic and tribal supremacy of your folks.
Nothing sells us short..

An employee cannot force the founder or CEO of a business to increase his or her salary..

An employee cannot earn the same salary as the founder or CEO of a business no matter how hard they work.

the only way an employee can earn the same salary as the founder is to quit his job and create or found his own business.

Black people did not create or found the economic system the world is currently using.. it was created by euro:peans..

no matter how hard black countries work.. black countries can never have earn the same as euro:peans countries unless they quit the current economic system and create their own economic system which is what Gha:ddafi suggested...

if black countries are ever on a path to progress then eur:opeans will manipulate the system and you'll start hearing of diseases, civil wars, terrorism, assassination in those countries..

when black Americans built their own thriving cities due to segregation created by whyte Americans, whyte Americans created unrest and bombed the cities, burnt mansions owned by black people, killed thousands of black people e.t.c. all because the black americans were progressing without the help of the whyte Americans,,

so no matter the progress a person makes, that person can be robbed of his belongings, money or even killed just to stop that person and his family from progressing..

feudalists like Ti:nubu, Bu:hari, Ojukwu Azikwe were and are working for whyte people whether directly or indirectly due to colonialism and due to carrying out the economic policies of World slavery Bank and International slavery fund...

I am for ethnic and tribal independence not supremacy because from what I've seen and learnt... in some families, for them to become a wealthy and rich family it usually takes the hard work, intelligence, resources of at least one child in that family who then goes on to empower and uplift other members of his family and that's how they end up becoming a wealthy family with generational wealth... as long as no one kills that child or prevents him from progressing.

in Nigeria's case, the hard work, intelligence, resources of at least one tribe who could have gone on to empower and uplift the other tribes was stopped the day regionalism was abolished due to the other tribes not liking the progress the other tribe was making so that tribe never got the opportunity to become wealthy and empower the other tribes..

Sorry, but no statement is more wrong. If you cannot do much of what you are getting, it's within reason to believe you wouldn't be any different with 100%. If they can break away the same leaders would still be leading. You made some factual statements, but your conclusions are at best interesting, and not necessarily well thought out. Delta has to share its resources with other parasitic states. That's correct. But an important question would be do you get anything in the meantime, relative to those parasites? What have you done with what you have retained/received via allocation? This is not to say that the Delta region should be denied the entirety of the revenue from oil, No. You cannot take most of what's mine because you think I can't manage the portion I am getting—such arrogance. I support the idea that every region should be allowed to manage its resources. But arguing that Akwa Ibom is not as developed as Qatar for example because it's not getting all the revenue from its oil is what's a problem, based on evidence.

Are white institutions working against us? Absolutely. The world's market economy is such that, one country's continuous search for economic prosperity is ruining the economic prosperity of another. You don't even have to want to ruin another country. As long as you pursue economic prosperity another country would be diminishing in the direction of ruin.(Note, the use of direction, not that you are at the point of ruin). The activities of economic prosperity would force that imbalance. It is you who has to decide that, hell no, any other country but me can carry that burden.

Were some African leaders with a passion for uplifting their respective countries Murdered? O yes. But what makes you think that's unique to us? Other countries that are currently at least fairly prosperous must have had that too. Do you think, during the Chinese opium crisis, and in the lead-up to the wars, some Chinese leaders looking to quash the opium problem were not murdered? Despite this, they kept at it. And once the opportunity for quantum economic jumps opened- for example, the US moving their manufacturing to China- they took it. Given the heavily capitalistic nature of the American economy, the US manufacturing industries were looking to extract more profit from the sale of their products. These pockets of opportunities open up and the question is can you see it? China for example is now exploring as others once did to them. They are in the driver's seat now. Are our African countries trying to exploit the opportunities opening up?

The point is whatever harsh realities we believe we are being dealt, others have been dealt the same, and some of them eventually prospered.
that statement is more right...

if your monthly salary is ₦250,000 and after your monthly expenses on transportation, food, bills e.tc your remaining is ₦50,000 while if you get another job that pays ₦2,500,000 monthly with same monthly expenses and now your remaining is ₦2,300,000..

would ₦50,000 give you a better life than ₦2,300,000?

now apply that same logic to Akwa-ibom or Delta.. would ₦850 billion give Akwa-ibom better infrastructure and jobs than ₦12 trillion ?

"Hate black people." This is the foolish talk that some pan African minded people push. I don't like hearing that nonsense whether it is true or not. It is the talk of a conquered mind, of a man who lacks faith in himself, indeed a talk by raving idiots.

Do these institutions love the Chinese? Do they love the Arabs? So you want them to love you? Are you a woman?

Bullshit. Don't engage me with that narrative because I utterly hate it. Once you mention our challenges as a race, this wimps, this weak minded, myopic trotters inevitably find a way to rope in the white man. Read the bolded. Did you see how he has placed our underdevelopment solely at the feet of the white man. It's always blame game that has not taken us an inch forward.

Someone said that with the kind of leaders we have, do we need enemies? Again someone said when you are a child, you blame others, when you are a man (a man in the real sense of the word, no be say you carry blokkos) you man up and forge ahead regardless of the odds life has dealt you.

Looking for love up and down like a sissy. You don't even love yourself. Mechionu with this stupid immature sentimental snivelling talk about white against blackman because you are a slave to that thinking. And you don't know that by blaming the white man you have made him your god.

Everytime this unthinking people keep talking about colonialism. Who wasn't colonized? Who wasn't enslaved? Who? I just finished reading Tom Holland's "Rubicon: The Last Years of the Roman Republic." Go and read how Rome plundered Gaul, Brittania and Germania (which corresponds to modern day France, Britain and Germany) -killing them, making slaves out of them and colonizing them. Abi you have not read how the ottoman empire raided whites and made them slaves. Go and even read up on the etymology of the word slave. It's derived from slavs, a people of Eastern Europe who were raided as slaves.

What am I saying. Stop crying oh black man! Rise up! The pain you have suffered contains the promise of the heights you can reach if only you look forward and man up.

And to the point about Singapore, I take Lee's book as my reference. What is your reference?
U:S:A moved its entire manufacturing to China and some Asian in the 80s and 90s and this made China and these other countries to have access to information, know-how and knowledge-transfer on how this U:S products worked and they started making their own versions of the U:S products... and the U:S also gave them billions of dollars in loans and grants to upgrade themselves...

Arab countries have large deposits of Crude oil, Gas reserves and have small population and are stand alone countries which Nigeria is not...

In Nigeria, Akwa-ibom has the largest oil reserves and a small population but it is not a stand alone country which means it never gets the full revenue it is meant to get and shares it with 30 - 36 other states who are parasites..

if Akwa-ibom, Delta, Bayelsa and Rivers were stand alone countries they would be the richest countries in Africa with state of the art infrastructure..

it's like the best student in your class sitting beside you during normal classes, tests and exams and saying his presence had nothing to do with your improved performance or the worst student in your class sitting beside you and saying his presence did not cause your bad performance.

African presidents or Black American leaders who really and honestly had the passion and motivation to uplift their countries were assassinated or imprisoned by White controlled institutions and you're saying nonsense about no faith in yourself because whyte institutions are working against you..

Sh:ell and some other whyte owned companies polluted the rivers in Bayelsa and Sh:ell did nothing about it..

you're not experienced or still under the age of 22 with such kind of thinking that another person or group cannot stop or delay the upliftment of another group.....

you're talking as if a fraudster or hacker cannot wipe out someone's life savings in their bank account without the person knowing, you will blame the person for been a victim of a crime...

I think one's background plays a huge role in whether they have a pan - Nigerian or narrow tribal outlook. I grew up on the Airforce base in Makurdi and till date just by looking at a person or hearing him speak I can tell where he or she's from. And that's because our interaction cut across virtually all the ethnic groups in Nigeria and we grew up with that sense that we are a community.

My first real contact with the practical demonstration of ethno - religious sentiment was when I went to University in Zaria and when I joined nairaland. It was shocking and I used to get annoyed by it but not anymore. Not many people have the privilege of the kind of background you have.

I put the blame squarely on our leaders especially those of the first republic. Compare them to a person like Lee Kuan Yew of Singapore and see the difference in their orientation. While Lee quickly realized that Singapore composed of Chinese, Malays and other sub-nationals, he ensured that the state adopted a strict policy of merit and neutrality. That is the magic that transformed Singapore to the height it now occupies. (Lee was in Nigeria in January 66 for the commonwealth conference, when he saw our leaders, he said we were not going to succeed as a nation because we were too tribal)

And indeed what did our own leaders do? They dug down their heels and jostled for political advantage strictly on tribal lines. I will nevertheless say that they loved their people sincerely and they are still 100 times better than this present crop of useless politicians.
Don't mention Singapore...

In Singapore, the indigenes are poor and doing odd jobs while the mixed ones or Chi:nese and Malaysia migrants who have become citizens are the ones holding all or most of the top positions and jobs both in public and private institutions it has nothing to do with merit and neutrality but favoring of Chi:nese and Malaysia migrants by the older Chi:nese migrants who are citizens who had political power ..

Nigeria's under-development has to do with not investing in infrastructure and getting poor loans from the World Slavery Bank and International Slavery Fund that hate black people...

Ukra:ine has gotten over $80 billion in loans since the war with Ru:ssia began... other non-black countries like Singapore also got massive loans in the 70s and 80s while most African countries get peanuts as loans compared to what Eu:ropean and A:sia countries get from this world finance institutions...

currently in U:S:A, illegal immigrants are given over $25,000 - $100,000 each to start businesses, their rent is paid for them e.t.c while hardworking black American citizens get nothing in return...

will you say illegal immigrants have more merit than black Americans?

Anyone still spending energy discussing about tribe and ethnicity in this present Nigeria knows nothing. I discontinue any discuss with that person once I notice that. Nigeria has moved on. Nigeria doesn't have 250 ethnic groups, rather only 2. The Elites and the masses. That's all. But funny you will find all manner of abominations among the masses. They are the ones that kill for their religion, ethnicity and the rest. The elites loot in convoy, share in convoy, marry each other, celebrate each other, you won't hear pim. Nuf said.
I used to think like you but I discovered it was the Elites that empower the masses..

The Elites only empower masses they share the same ethnicity with or they completely ignore the Masses.

To make matters worse, most black people are naturally selfish so there is a combination of selfish Elites and selfish masses..

Selfish Elites that are meant to build infrastructure to empower their people are either anti-black or too selfish to start and complete progressive projects or just want to impose destitution on their people...

Then there are non-black Elites who do everything to ensure black people are destitutes..

It's a weird world and the only way to progress is to become the elite and be the change you want to see instead of expecting others to be that change..

You claimed that the old Eastern region were envious of the old western region, but you can't provide any evidence, instead you have resorted to playing ethnic games in order to push your lies. The Calabar and akwa ibom you just mentioned, were they not part of the old Eastern region being talked about? Was Cocoa generating more revenue than palm oil?

You said Igbos occupied the best positions, and then here you are also saying the Yorubas were controlling the companies and institutions? So, the so called Yorubas who were controlling the companies and institutions decided to overlook others and instead employ the Igbos? If the white men gave more opportunities to the Igbos as you said, how came the Yorubas had control of the companies and institutions and the Igbos the employees as you learnt in your own little world? So, in a nutshell, it was actually the Yorubas who had the lions share (so called controllers) and still sad at the mere employees. The real bitter, covetous and jealous ones are the controllers who were sad at the employees, otherwise why would a controller complain about an employee? Would you rather be a controller or a mere employee? Make it make sense.

Separation only guarantees revenues stays where it is made and Laws are no longer subject to Nigeria law and can deport and choose who stays in your country and better security for the separated country...

The only reform we need is government diversity from sports. I can't think of any government agency managed by civil servants in the country that is working effectively, sports won't be any different.

The only chance we have at success is for government to get out of the way and allow private money into sports. The EPL is privately run, the NBA is privately run, the NCAA which is schools sports in America is privately run. That's the way forward for sports in Nigeria.

No private individual will invest 12 Billion naira in a venture without an plans and expectations for returns. Methinks government monies are better invested in more important concerns to the Nigerian populace like health and education and if sports to infrastructural developments. Private money in football are moving into football academies and not the NPFL because many are discovering the academy to Europe pipeline and taking advantage of it.
According to my research NCAA is a non- profit organization... it is a charity organization..

Amadu Bello spoke good English which automatically means he was educated and also gives the idea that his other northern mates/brothers were good too or equally educated, but thousands of Igbos got their jobs out of favouritism even though Azikiwe's father was a secretary to the British. Can you quote me on Twitter and write this particular thing you just wrote now with your full chest as a Yoruba man so that I can school you fully without derailing this thread?

If Igbos had all the jobs as you said, so for what reason would the old Eastern region be envious of the western region as you also claimed? Also, in what way was the western region as progressive as the Eastern region to cause such jealousy? Besides cocoa which we matched and subdued with palm oil, what else were you bragging about, since we also have all the jobs, according to you? So, who should be envious of who? From your story, was it not already obvious that Akintola and the west were the ones filled with jealousy because the Igbos were occupying good positions which they of course got in merrit? Tell me what we were envious of. I want to know what the west was doing better than the East that made the east jealous.

most I:gbos have a covetous mentality and that breeds and leads to envy...

In Lagos there is a place called Palm grove where there used be thousands of Palm trees before it was cleared off and roads and other concrete developments killed it off.. Edo, Akwa-ibom and Cross-River are the largest producers of Palm oil there is no i:gbo state there so stop saying what you don't know and this is part of the covetous mentality I am talking about..

Cocoa is still mainly grown in the SW no other region has ever matched the SW in cocoa if any region matches the SW in cocoa then Nigeria will be 2nd largest producer in the world not 4th largest..

in some countries.. government jobs are exclusively for the indigenes, that's the point Bello and Akintola were trying to make..

having jobs is different from controlling the companies or institutions that create those jobs...

Despite i:gbos having most of the federal jobs all over Nigeria the regional jobs and institutions were controlled by the indigenes and Western Nigeria created more regional institutions, companies and agencies than other regions and i:gbos like Azikwe were covetous towards Western Nigeria's institutions and wanted control of Western Nigeria and its regional institutions which i:gbos till date are still trying to grab control of states in the SW...

You have a skewed and crooked knowledge of Nigerian history. I'm not even igbo, but then you present little fact with many false narrative. You failed to acknowledge one thing Education thrived in the south, hence the southern party of ncnc with their alliance with the northern party led by saurdana of sokoto and tafawa helped the igbo majority ncnc party into various high white collar office jobs that the igbos were qualified for at that time. While the losing fraction was the western region at the federal level. If you had acknowledged this maybe it will change your narrative.
Education thrived everywhere in Nigeria for those that could afford it..

if you listen to Ahmadu Bello talk you'll know how educated he was in that era which means there were other northerners like him...

is Dangote an un-educated huh

from the early 1900s even before Nigeria's almagation of northern and southern Nigeria.. Nnamdi Azikwe's father was working for the Bri:tish as a secretary and hundreds if not thousands of other i:gbos were also working for the bri:tish all over Nigeria because the Bri:tish favored them not because other tribes were not qualified and un-educated until 1960 when the Bri:tish left..

their white collar employment had nothing to do with Ahmadu Bello and Balewa. since they already had those jobs before independence and continued on the jobs after independence so Ahmadu Bello, Akintola were working towards replacing i:gbos who had jobs ( which was what we now call federal jobs ) in the north and western Nigeria...

you are i:gbo because it is mostly i:gbos that fail to acknowledge that other tribes are also qualified for high white collar office jobs.. which is what I was trying to explain to comodo who may also be i:gbo since he was complaining about quota-system forgetting that other tribes also have highly qualified people..

or is Finidi unqualified to coach S.E because he invited someone playing in Tanzania or was Stephen Keshi unqualified to coach the S.E because he invited an unknown Sunday Mba and still won the AFCON and qualified for Second Round of World Cup huh

from the 1900s till 1960s i:gbos were not the only qualified people in Nigeria but the Bri:tish favored them because colonial:ists try to ensure one ethnic nation is dominant than others and has dominance over the others..

instead of thinking through the lens of "a single individual or a private company or a local government or state government" and then they continue to develop and build more infrastructure in their communities

the country can never hit a dead end... one part of the country will hit a dead end while another part of the country may never hit a dead end while another part of the country can also instigate and attack another part of the country lead them to a dead end...

no one part of Nigeria is in charge of the political affairs of another part of Nigeria.

The moment in time quota system was introduced into everything was d moment Nigeria died.
Now my question. Did we really grow during the regional government?? If yes, why can't the nation give it a try again.
In a regional government system some regions will prosper and grow faster than others and some Nigerians out of envy for those regions don't want that to be the case and will begin to accuse the regions growing fast of corruption...

it was what indirectly led to the civil war...

false accusations of corruption against Nigeria by the likes of Ojukwu, ironsi e.t.c. which also was indirectly false accusations against the prospering region ( at the time was western Nigeria ).. especially after the broadcast of Ahmadu Bello saying he will rather hire foreigners than hire i:gbos because i:gbos had most of the federal jobs in the north due to the brit:ish giving the jobs to i:gbos whom they favored before independence so after independence most non-i:gbos assumed the i:gbos will do the right thing and give the jobs back to the indigenes but the i:gbos didn't do that and even in western Nigerian Ladoke Akintola also released a broadcast complaining about i:gbos keeping all the lecturing jobs in U.I and that Y:orubas were only doing the jobs of cleaners, gardeners...

so weeks or months after the broadcasts, the 1966 coup happened and both Ahmadu Bello and Akintola were killed by the coup plotters..

Regional government can never ever be tried again because after the abolishment of regionalism by ironsi and after the civil war Gowon said " Nigeria has too much money and they did not know what to do with it " please note Gowon didn't say this before 1966 because he said it after 1970.. which means what he truly meant was that "Southern Nigeria has too much money and now that the North is in control the north did not know what to do with it".

NNPC was created in 1977.... the coup that the Igbos did, happened in 1966 and If they didn't abolish regionalism it will mean its Eastern Nigeria Petroleum Company that would have been created and it would have meant that Eastern Nigeria controlled at least 80% of Nigeria's revenue and wealth. which means more jobs, infrastructure, social benefits, healthcare for the eastern region...

but the Igbos were too short-sighted and jealous of the western region been ahead financially not knowing they were about to be extremely wealthy in the coming years due to oil boom and therefore destroyed a regional system that would have made the eastern region the richest region in Nigeria and probably whole of Africa with no other region coming close..

You’re still mentioning Gift Monday, Sebatine Flourish, Ajakaiye that haven’t shown any working yet😂😂

Even if I want to pick, I will only pick Opeyemi Ajakaye as she has that pace that can cause havoc.
What "working" did Sunday Mba show to make the AFCON winning squad? and he ended up leading S.E to glory...

Most of this domestic staff from outside nigeria are criminals,I remember how one drug the two security and stole all the madam hard currency and jewelries worth millions. If not because some of this rich people are wicked, what is wrong in bringing in a relative to stay with you instead of total stranger.
idahme:
A single lady living with domestic staff is a no no for me, can't advice my relative to take that route. If you need people living with it's better to bring in family else you are in danger if you are a rich.
Rich people understand that time is money so they can't spend time cleaning and doing other chores when they pay people to do it..

This is not Nollywood...

In reality, most rich people also have rich relatives so those relatives are also very busy people and cannot go and do house chores in another relatives house..

Rich people are not wicked they are just very disciplined and will not tolerate indiscipline around them because indiscipline breeds poverty...

This obviously is the worst performance from the team. This game however brings to the fore that we are not yet a team to compete at the world stage, at least not yet.

Nigerians can sometimes be delusional. It's okay to express frustration at the loss and all, but to make it seem like we weren't already in a bad situation with our grouping is being delusional. We just do not have the personnel right now to compete. The biggest delusion is to make it seem like we were any better in previous years. This is the best we've been as a team at the world stage. Can we grow from here? Yes, but we're not where we used to be.

Kudos to the girls, they gave it their best.
it is not delusional to set high standards..

some Nigerians always set high standards for themselves and their children so its normal to think other Nigerians think like the high standard setting Nigerians...

will you call Nigerians like Tobi Amusan, Favour Ofili, the basketball teams, the relay team e.t.c.. for believing they can win any competition huh

The fact that you don't even know Alani is not in the team is enough reason not to comment
you're right... I thought I saw her name in one of the line-ups....

yes bro, nice analysis. Young players should be called to the team to be groomed with sharp strikers. The team should have been in the last 8 by now. They just donate point to Brazil. They could have draw Spain and drew Japan too. They tried their best. Hard luck to them moving forward. The likes of okeke, ihezueo, onomonu should be excluded from the team. They have no impact or any contribution to the team.
You're right...

No Matter what the stupid NFF's have done ( I know, those Nincompoops are the worse ) Randy has to go. This is his level, his ceiling..... He can't move us any further than this.... The only other trajectory from here on is downwards. He has taken US to 3 Tournaments now including some friendlies and qualifiers and
1. We still don't have any pattern of play with the ball.
2. Wrong and terrible Subs every game
3. Players not improving ( Okay maybe Deborah )
4. Even our defensive plays have no pattern in them....Just Individuals diving into tackles and putting their bodies on the line.
5. Wrong/Unbalanced Team Selections every time.
6. Nepotism left, right, center
7. Any form of Attacking Play seem to have retired or relocated away from the team...
no coach can instill a pattern of play in both the Super Eagles and Super Falcons as long as the Nigerian coaches don't see formation as important there won't be a pattern of play...

pattern of play comes from playing in the same club together or from youth and U11s football...

pattern of play has to be trained into the players from when they are young..

for years both Super Eagles and Super Falcons have never had a pattern of play and that's due to the Nigerian coaches and the NFF...

We seem to have a short memory. We were put in a group of death!!!! I honestly didn't expect the girls to make it out of the group considering the calibre and pedigree of teams in our group.

I am proud that they pushed Spain and Brazil to the wire and infact with some luck they could have gotten wins or draws against Brazil and Spain. Waldrum should be allowed to continue in my opinion but he should be given the target of winning the next AFCON.
JohnBullMySon:
To be fair, this group was much tougher than the WC. That said, there were obvious lapses in attack.
this group is not tough..

ihezuo and Onumonu should be excommunicated from the team...

if Ihezuo was a good finisher SF would already be in the QF...

and if Randy and his coaching crew were good coaches that means when SF players are through on goal there will be another player to pass to score..

if Randy stays then his attacking line-up must change.. no more ihezuo, Onumonu, Oshoala can stay on the bench..

Let younger and faster players be called up..

Such a nonsensical performance. No sense of urgency
Urgency has to do with formation and they don't train with any formation.

First, Randy coached a bad game today. Starting Toni Payne and Okeke were big errors. Not playing Okoronkwo is puzzling. I however still think he should remain as coach at least till the next WAFCON.

That said the NFF should do whatever they think is best. I'll be here to remind those calling for his sack without knowing what's at the other side of the door.

They are definitely not employing a foreign coach should Randy go. They'll probably give the job to the stand-in coach when Randy's contract expired it they'll just promote Danjuma.
He needs to go..

His not giving Macleans and Alani their chance is terrible..
