Another test frequency is available, this time on MPEG 2, 11432 V 27500. It's green and fed with JSC sports. @ Coda xo, you need to start from the beginners thread but EPL is not anywhere free unless one match per wk.
I've read abit of the other FTA "seasons" but it's just too many pages to dig through.
Yes I know it is not free. I am aware I need to buy the card, but I'm sure it won't
cost me the 80k per season for Dstv.

Hello All.

I got here out of my absolute desire not to shell out N10k per month for next 8 months to DSTv (per the recent
HiTv debacle.)

I know absolutely nothing about FTA.

Where do I start folks?

ADMC I am believing is the what I need to get.

How do I go about it?

I live near in Ikota near Ajah.

We have all sorts of dishes in my house,

I believe we have a 3-4m dish,
2 2m dishes,
1 black net dish

But where does an absolute beginner start in this?
Premiership starts in 2 weeks.

Thanks for your help. in advance.

@ hustla:

You are using ETISALAT on a PC or your PHONE?

USB MODEM OR PHONE AS MODEM?

I might be interested in trying them out.
PhonesRe: Etisalat's New Data Plan (For Browsing) by coderXO(m): 11:26am On Jul 12, 2010
The speed of on all the networks pretty matters where you are located.

I've tried pretty much all of them.

Right now in my area ( Ikota, Lagos) ,
MTN 3G is probably the best.

Except between 10pm-12am when there are extra night time browsers.

You can get 60-200KB/s (not kbps) speeds

Only qualms I have with it is I usually use the 3GB in 2 weeks,
so I'm spending some N20k per month for internet.

Needless to say, that is really really expensive.

Enjoy.
InvestmentRe: Interest Rate On Fixed Deposit Accounts In Nigeria by coderXO(m): 3:35pm On Jul 10, 2010
Don't mind these jokers. They know much more than what is at their doorsteps.

During the economic boom of the mid 90s to 2004, the best CD Rates you could get in the U.S or Europe was 4.2% APY.
Today that figure is 1.59% tops.

10-13% return on a deposit is a gold mine of a return.

It's Nigeria's best kept secret to the foreign world.
ProgrammingRe: Difference Between A Programmer And A Web Developer? by coderXO(m): 9:54pm On Jun 02, 2010
According to me:

A web developer is an all encompassing term for someone that develops websites start to finish.

A web developer is usually both a web designer and a web programmer, but you're more likely to hear
of web development firms that might have several people with the varying tasks delegated.

A programmer is someone that usually writes code, scripts and applications in any given programming language: PHP, JAVA, PERL etc.

A web designer does graphics, basic HTML markup and handles pretty much the look and presentation of a website.

A web programmer is more involved with functionality and interaction: how a website works.

Greetings.

That's the problem in itself ladies.

Ain't it shallow somehow to be trying to attract attractive men,
rather ambitious and honest men?

Abeg can anybody out there using MTN internet confirm that it is currently working?

I use my Nokia 5800, and I'm beginning to wonder whether na MTN dey get problem,
or maybe phone is malfunctioning.

I've been using MTN for some months now but since 11/12/2009, the thing is not
working anymore. It doesn't work either way: browsing on the phone itself, or using it as a modem

Obviously the lady has done wrong and feels terrible about it.
No need to pile on her folks.

You need to ask forgiveness of God and seek some good
counseling.

Finally, leave that situation immediately.
