Yekini deflected all the negative attention to state governors building flyovers. Lol.
A tiny/miniscule fraction of BAT Highway(Lagos-Calabar) would have banished such mess.
Even a private citizen can dump two or three trailer of gravel to fix that deep portion.
This must have been part of the yekini strategy to unlock marine economy. Imagine fish ponds on highway. Lol. |

Obi was GEJ's right hand man during the 2012 subsidy removal attempt. They are all striving to enter that office and loot. |

HacheNoire: For any reason, the war was not worth it when it reasoning about what caused the war. It has no sensible cause. Ukraine was just used by NATO and the US has a slap house.
Even though Ukraine’s sovereignty should be respected, the US or UK will not welcome such aggression and why Russia could have been justified.
Both sides are dying and hurting each other but Ukraine will DEFINITELY be at the losing end.
They won’t get back lost territories. Rebuilding will be difficult for them more than Russia which is an advanced and technologically strong country. They have Allie’s like North Korea and China who can deploy massive man power and support.
Ukraine will regret the war, and that’s guaranteed. Nobody used any ukraine. Just say you are asslicking Russia under Putin to aid Iran and by extension, Islam, globally. Nobody will flog you for that. |

At least the northerners get to feel the direct impact of governance.
And northern Governors since 1999 apart from Zamfara and Niger state , have outperformed every one of your governors in the SE in terms of infrastructure development.
Is SE federal allocations meant for your governors to loot and divert to offshore accounts and to open breweries ? Stop acting deranged. |
Politics › Re: What Is Stopping Abia State From Subsidizing Fuel? by CodeTemplar: 5:06pm On Aug 22 |
The subsidy removal was partly down to states being unable to keep paying salary. Off course thats just a cover for more idiotic expenses like hajj and rams for ramadan. Some northern states already heavily subsidize industries. The last Kebbi gov always distribute fertilizers and inputs to farmers. Thats a form of subsidy. Other states subsidize social media influencers. E.G Bayelsa and Ekiti. |

Floating of Naira was a flawless move. Even petrol subsidy removal wasnt as bad it seems if not for the wastage that accompanied the saved funds.
It made no sense to peg Naira value and in so trying to maintain stability & predictability, unwittingly subsidize dollar/fx.
A dollar that could be going for N1,000 was going for around 40% of that. It meant govt had to pay the remaining 60%. Imaging paying over half the cost of toothpick from China, tomato from Spain/Italy or Chocolate from Belgium. These are all things that could be produced locally. Yet we preferred to give Naira a false value and then start importing things that can be easily produced locally to help employ hands and grow the economy. It very a demonic approach to governance. More demonic is the idea of maintaining subsidy for religion and embarking on luxury. |
