Politics › Re: Keyamo To Flag Off Abia Airport Construction – Commissioner by CodeTemplar: 3:30pm On Dec 10, 2024
Jasix:
That's Nice. But most of these governors carry out these airports project to embezzle public funds cos they end up not completing the project before the expiration of their tenure.
Ebonyi own has been completed and is idle. It cannot repay 10% of the cost in 100 years yet they are upgrading and maintaining it. This is not a good idea for Abians at all.
Politics › Re: Keyamo To Flag Off Abia Airport Construction – Commissioner by CodeTemplar: 3:24pm On Dec 10, 2024
More Idle airports in addition to federal highways of fraud and multiple state flyovers, or is it shoes and wares they are flying i/o with planes?
Later they will say they cannot repay loans because it isnt generating money as people arent using their projects. Ebonyi is there n idle. Enugu is there to serve Abia. Asaba is also there. Imagine a state like Kaduna having four airports. Kaduna is even bigger than SE and Delta Igbo combined. What a misplaced priority.
Phones › Re: Why Blackberry Became A Forgotten Giant Overnight by CodeTemplar: 3:22pm On Dec 10, 2024
That their platform specific BBN killed them. Another was cost. They charged indirectly for their softwares and hoped people will stick with them but WhatsApp came and bridged many platforms. Iphone, android, and desktops. BB had to make way.

It also marked a time when chinese people were aggressively trying to enter the market and they hard the unique advantage of cheapest hardware plus a unifying Android OS to power those. BB is alive but for mumu loyalists. It may soon become a military and security focused brand as android is too easily compromised.

Nlfpmod. Even wheat shouldnt be on this list. It can be grown locally.
Politics › Avoidable Imports List by CodeTemplar(op):
OUR MAJOR IMPORTS
1 PMS — ₦9.18tn
2 Gas oil — ₦3.22tn

3 Wheat — ₦1.23tn
4 Butanes — ₦0.6tn
5 Sugar Cane — ₦581.36bn

6 Used Vehicles — ₦284.46bn
7 Kerosene — ₦250.2bn
8 Motorcycles — ₦245.01bn
9 Machines — ₦242.73bn
10 Other medicaments — ₦227.9bn

No. 1, 2, 4, 5, and 7 are perfectly avoidable. Thats N13.8 trillion( or Over 80%) avoidable forex equivalent demand. Tinubu is still playing. He is going after huge needless projects when he could have tripled cocoa tress, get refineries working and stopped wastage in his four years. Those alone can eliminate the above listed avoidable imports and crazily strengthen the Naira. We should all stone anyone, the way his APC thugs attacked voters in 2023, whoever votes him without him doing the above after four years.

Which students lined up in the street to welcome Obasanjo whenever he visits Ogun state when he was president?
Go to Otta and ask people. Most dailies dont have archives as far back as 2007, I would have searched them out. I know your actual problem is my Buhari comment but after researching the points and seeing evidences, your thick upper level decide to ask for proof of event from 1999-2007.

During OBJ's time, whenever he was visiting his hometown, the schools around always welcomed him and that involves innocent students lining the street to create a beautiful scene. That extra input from the locals didn't help matters still.
Katsina was highly favoured by Buhari and it is on record he was stoned at the end of his tenure there. He was stoned in Kano too, though not his home state, Kano is the biggest metropolis in the north.
GEJ couldn't fix the road connecting his hometown to main part of Bayelsa state and it took successive admin to do that despite the level of income that was available to his govt at state and federal level.

Who doesn't know what goes on in the sports circle?

I think we can do with a sport agency that will handle preparation of african athletes for a fee. If such an arrangement is in place, it will open room for transparency and even allow private sponsors pick up the fee easily. Everything doesnt have to be govt money.

Clowns.
If you use $500m to improve manpower in education and health, how many billions of usd will you use to pay salaries seeing it is easier to recruit than to pay salaries every month?
Just tell us you are borrowing to pose as Giant of Africa, or how do we explain needing $500m to rectify staffing issues when every year those sectors get underfunded deliberately?
To make matters worse, we just finished stoning the devil with about $150m (FG and states) yet need such amount to staff two sectors we all know govt dont care about.

The skit-making content creators have done it again o.
122m USD as of 2014 was much less than N18B. They created this content to deflect attention from their undeniable failings. To cap the legendary comedy off, hear what EFCC actors have to say below.

“At this stage, I cannot disclose further details as our team is still actively working on the case,” he said.
...always still working while disclosing details to the media and at same time, unable to disclose further details, because, ... of course, they are still working on the case. Lol.

bukatyne:
Wait o!

Assuming a senator and prof in Nigeria are both incompetent, you think a senator displays more competence in his role than a professor?
A senator can be crazy as long as his people voted him and haven't objected to status as a senator. A professor on the other hand is suppose to merit it by effort and competence. A misfiring prof is different from a misfiring senator that's still popular in his constituency.
