When the content creators from the Rock realize it is impossible to sneak Lagos thugs in, they deploy the police who helped protect the Lagos agbero. The police is now learning how to serve under APC from Lagos Agbero.

Food importation is not an email that gets delivered on same day. It will take sometime for the waiver to have full impact on the prises of food
The currently crop of leaders are nothing but partisan and politically irredeemable clowns. The season we are is when food prices normally starts crashing due to harvest. It has been happening for ages and I find it odd that those clowns and content creating morons will choose that time of the year to grant a silly waiver instead of looking at why food prices aren't crashing down enough to ease sufferings of the hungry. What they specialize in is taking undue credits for any perceived positive change happening or about to happen just to look competent.

You need to protect your local farmers by disallowing different foods being dumped on us.....if you were to allow foreign rice unimpeded for instance, you will kill local businesses who are already into farming and processing, jobs would be lost, investments will be lost.

Also we have limited availability of Forex and introducing this policy without some control can further worsen the already bad Forex rates.

This policy will surely drive down prices of rice, wheat and maize but we can't sacrifice our economic interest for popular opinion.

Don't just criticise without having a good hang of any topic
Protecting local farmer dont always work out well. There are strong-willed middlemen who unionize to milk farmers and consumers from one end to another.
We saw that in a thread few weeks back when market women resisted on of their colleagues who was selling at lower price in Kwara state. They sell at intl market price. Controlled opening of the local market to foreign goods is better than total shutdown or opening. Have you wondered why food items that are majorly consumed in nigeria have been the most expensive? Cassava, Yam are exceptionally higher in price.
Politics › Re: Bakers Protest Hike In Flour Price Despite FG Waiver by CodeTemplar: 11:35am On Aug 15, 2024
“This constant increase in the price of flour by millers has made it impossible for bakeries to operate and function smoothly which has also led to the shutdown of many bakeries and their staff being laid off. Lives are at stake when basic needs are scarce. Nigerians complain daily due to a lack of basic needs for survival and bread is one of them. The flour millers are mounting pressure on human beings unnecessarily.”
All these workers being laid off from many sectors of the economy, what's is being prepared for them elsewhere by the govt of content creation?

In this case infrastructure is not compulsory. If Nigeria's first son can fly presidential fleet to go play polo, let them fly the rice out of ebonyi, afterall the current minister of works an former governor built an expensive intl airport there.

The real protest will be spontaneous and unpredictable, it may not be directly linked to hunger or hunger triggered misdemeanors. This one is just to get Nigerian thinking.

These fraudsters called northerners have used the false narrative of poverty for too long. He should have said this during the exercise to stone evil spirits with N200B of public money not available to feed the bastards fathered by our assexual FG.
As far as I am concerned, food prices there is still at 2020 level of the south. They are just vocal because their unquestionable hero has eloped to Daura.

Off course it will. The government seems to take the citizens as animals and not humans..

How can you spend so much time spinning propaganda instead of facing the truth ?

How can you be telling your citizens that the protest was sponsored? Are they not hungry ?

Okay you are telling your citizens that they are not hungry that it's enemies of the country alone that are hungry so there was no real protest?

So the millions of hungry Nigerians we see everyday are enemies of the state?

This man is the stupidest president in the history of this nation.

I mean he is so stupid me makes buhari look like a genius.

He is so idiotic and unintelligent I can't even can. At first I want happy with the North and waving of Russian flags.
But since this idiot of a president has chosen to still remain unconcerned about his his citizens are faring then let the real protests being and let them be as.violent as possible.

This second round of protests will shake Africa to it's core because people will die willingly but they will chase him out of Nigeria.

He better act now to stop the hunger and stop using propaganda to tell us how James Bond sponsored the protest and is under arrest with Barack Obama .
lol. Good morning.
I have been saying it for over a year now. Dude only understands politicking issues away and never attending to them. He has never really governed in his life.

Just as I posited two weeks ago. This one is politically motivated but the real one will be spontaneous like endsars. The hunger is real and unfortunately the agricultural drive of this admin is nonexistent. Food prices barely crashed this year. Corn is being eaten fresh and hardly any for preservation. They are just holding onto few gains of price cash of perishable like tomatoes, pepper and spices.
