Politics › Re: Nigeria Supplies More Citizens With Electricity Than Any African Country by CodeTemplar: 7:12am On Apr 24, 2021
Rosskiiku:
According to the World Bank, ''85 million Nigerians don’t have access to grid electricity. This represents 43% percent of the country’s population.''

https://www.worldbank.org/en/news/press-release/2021/02/05/nigeria-to-improve-electricity-access-and-services-to-citizens

Mathematically this means that Nigeria supplies electricity to 210 million - 85 million people.

= 125 million people.

That is more than TWICE the number of people supplied by any other African country.

It is nearly 5 times the entire population of Ghana.

By sheer number of people supplied, Nigeria leads Africa by a mile.

A large percentage of the 85 million without access are remote, rural northern communities, who need more inclusion in power expansion projects.

But for now, NIGERIA supplies electricity power to MORE PEOPLE than any other country in Africa.
For average of 3 days every month. That's impressive.

Phones › Re: What Is The Best Subscription For Heavy Downloads? by CodeTemplar: 10:16am On Apr 23, 2021
[quote author= post=101041511]If you use 50 GB data and above monthly,
The Below has a breakdown of the very best data plans in Nigeria at the moment (2020) for heavy users.

Spectranet Unlimited Gold: ₦18,000 and gives you 8 Mbps guaranteed speeds till you consume 100 GB,
after which your speed is throttled to a miserable crawl.

Smile UnlimitedPremium: ₦19,800 gives you 4 Mbps maximum speed till the 80 GB mark, after which you crawl too. To get the 4 Mbps speed back, you have to recharge with another Unlimited plan. Gobe.

Smile UnlimitedLite: ₦10,000. This gives you 4 Mbps maximum speed till you use up 20 GB, and then you crawl.

Ntel Unlimited Monthly: ₦17,500. Ntel does not specify at what point they may throttle you, but says it will happen “If your usage of our unlimited plans is greater than a predefined amount during any 24-hour period (measured from midnight each day)”. It would be nice if Ntel would specify.

Swift Unlimited
: This is the only unlimited data plan that would be worth considering. For ₦19,500, Swift gives you unlimited data for 30 days. There is no mention of a speed cap or throttling. Do your research though. You just never can tell.

Airtel has since introduced a weekly version of their Daily Binge data plan. Airtel Weekly Binge offers users 6GB data bundle for just ₦1,500 for a 7-day vailidity period. That gives you 24GB of data for ₦6,000 monthly, if you renew weekly. To get 30GB a month, you spend ₦7,500. A monthly budget of ₦15,000 will give you 60GB to burn.

Glo has a similar daily plan to Airtel Daily Binge. It offers you 1 GB for N300 and the data is valid for 24 hours only as well.
If you subscribe once daily for 30 days, your bill will come to ₦9,000 for 30 GB on Glo daily Splash. And there is no speed cap. If you do 2 GB daily, you spend ₦18,000 for 60 GB of data.

MTN’s 2.5GB for N500 Bundle

The 2.5GB data bundle from MTN is another voluminous plan that will interest those looking for huge data on small budget.

In view of the volume of data that these plans offer, and the lack of speed caps to slow you down, these two daily offers from Airtel and Glo are the best data plans in Nigeria if you are a heavy user. Even if you consume more than 60 GB monthly, you will still find them to be the best value for money. Those unlimited data plans (perhaps with the exception of Swift 4G), just got real competition.

What may be a little annoyance is the fact that you have to subscribe daily. I haven’t tried them out to see if they offer auto-renewal. But if I were Airtel and Glo, I’d implement auto-renewal on those plans and smile to the bank.

peggywebbs:
Correction, you can not just quote the old testament out of context. Malachi was the era before Christ. Which means the practices where from the early fathers Moses.

Secondly, the tithes referred to in the passage has nothing to do with money. The bible never made it compulsory to give the church money except at the time when David was building the temple.

Let people give what they want. The only thing we owe God is our obedience to his laws. Afterall, he said obedience is better than sacrifice.

God does not need our money, he doesn't want it. He cannot even live in a building built by the hands of men. Tell your greedy pastors to stop threatening their members with Malachi. If you are a good priest or pastor, you will never hunger.

God will direct people to bring food to your table so long you are doing his work. Many pastors have given testimony of this. Thank you.

Politics › Re: Breaking Up Nigeria Because Of Fulanis Is DUMB. Discuss. by CodeTemplar: 9:55pm On Apr 22, 2021
Rosskiiku:
You people calling for break up of the country because of 'Fulani people' are not thinking straight.

Since when did Fulani become so all-powerful that Nigeria must break up because of them?

Why?

How?

All it takes is for Buhari to be voted out at the next elections, replaced by a southerner, possibly an Igbo man, and the so-called almighty power of the Fulani is HISTORY.

So what is all this nonsense?

When PDP were in power, what did Fulanis do? Nothing. The power was all over the country.

The south wielded heavy power.

Controlled billions of dollars in oil earnings.

Controlled the military.

For 16 years.

So what is all this Fulani this, Fulani that, today?

Meanwhile, the Buhari experience will only make Nigerians more reluctant to vote in a Fulani president in future, so the democratic process will intervene to correct itself.

By the time another Fulani is elected president, say in 12 years time, the country would have been significantly restructured and arranged in a way that no president can alter it, whatever ethnicity he belongs to.

Plus, an objective person will admit that it has not been all bad with THIS Fulani president. He has done well in infrastructure.

Every cloud has a silver lining.

So, why can't you wait for elections to effect change?

A mere 1 and half year's time away.

Organise for change at the next elections.

We're a democracy.

No need to break up this African giant.
Stop talking stupid. Buhari cannot run again.

Imagine someone also saying that it was pantami that Masterminded the killing of Yakowa, former Kaduna state governor?..And some gullible people believed it because of sentiment.Any right thinking person knew that it was the then PDP govt.who wanted to eliminate Gen.Azazi because he exposed them that they were the owners of Boko Haram, and unfortunately, Yakowa was on the same aircraft with Azazi the main target.. Simple.Go and ask any political analyst who knows history if you doubt.
Go and read the full interview where the father of the man Pantami killed talked about his article in Vanguard in 2004 about the incidence.
