kingxsamz: But buiding a nation involves prayers? If it did, why's China still progressing despite taking these business centers religious institutions down? The Chinese copied the western model. Now that doesn't make them like the west. If you plant yam, you have at yam. They paid the price and have the trophy. |

Since according to you, prayer is what builds nations. Hausa is the official lingual franca in NNPC. Ministerial slots are given by quota. Power isn't available. These are things one must must negotiate with unbelievers to make right. They aren't yielding. Can't you see the best schools have Christian imprints all over them? |

Following the three-day training session, one Chinese Christian man asked Cordeiro, “Could you pray that one day we could just be like you?” “I looked at him and said, ‘I will not do that,’” he replied. “You guys road a train 13 hours to get here. In my country, if you have to drive more than an hour, people won’t come.” “You sat on a wooden floor for three days. In my country, if people have to sit for more than 40 minutes they leave. You sat here for not only three days on a hard wooden floor, in my country if it’s not padded pews and air conditioning, people will not come back.” “In my country, we have an average of two Bibles per family. We don’t read any of them. You hardly have any Bibles and you memorize them from pieces of paper.” “I will not pray that you become like us, but I will pray that we become just like you,” he concluded.
This is inspiring. |

Brendaniel: you see it's not about comprehension here. one thing I've always known about the truth is that it will prevail, I'm not blaming the south-west for it in totality, however they need to be blamed, the reason as at when they were doing it, it seemed very right to them that they were doing the right thing, the best thing for the south west to do is to reconcile with the south-east to make the progress that the region is supposed to, let me give you an example, in 2014 I was and strong supporter of Buhari, I mean I so believed in him coming to change things in the country, infact some of my friends started calling me Buhari, when He won I was so happy, fast-forward to early 2017, my eye was clear that they had no good agenda for this country, I felt sad for supporting the government and accepted that I was wrong about Buhari, that if any of my friends challenge me I will just accept that I made a mistae and start discussing on how the country can be better with a better leader, so basically that's what happened here, the south west should accept that they've made mistakes with the south east and unite and path a way forward since they now know who the real enemy is, Have you ever unknowingly supported a wrong person thinking you were right only to later find out that the person you opposed was the right person, what do you do as a right thinking person is try to reconcile with the person you opposed and path a better way of handling such next time, so please don't look at it like I am just blaming the south west for knowingly doing it, people make mistakes, but I tell you it really hurts when such happens if you are in the shoes of the person who is blamed wrongly.... @bold, did all Yoruba men and women hold a meeting and agree on a single choice before election? Is that even possible? Every one formed his decision personally and I see no wisdom in expecting a whole regions with five or six states to pick one candidate or party and vote overwhelmingly for. It will amount to sophisticated zombiesm. In 2011 people made their choices personal and the two major parties got substantial votes so I see no reason for same pattern of voting to now amount to betrayal because of who it end up favouring. Politics goes beyond simpleton begging online for votes from a region where 99% of voters won't read your plea. Politics involves ideas, projects, enticing blocks of voters and more. |

mrugly: I can see you have a comprehension problem. Anyways, I will bail you out. What I mean is this. Who betrayed who? Do you know the meaning of betray? How did the southwest betray you? Are we in any form of agreement (did we sign any agreement contract)? Did we both have the same consensus? Do we both pretend to have the same man in heart during the election period?
Please, consult your dictionary for what betrayal means 10/10 for you. betrayal is preceded by some form of agreement. Those who come online and try to dictate where or what a whole region should be doing are like Delusionists. You hear statement like "Yoruba pple betrayed ..." and I wonder what agreement every single youruba man has with another group. Who brokered it? Did the person seek the consent of all youruba pple? The way people reason atimes, I am forces to conclude they are just hungry abokîs and almajiris who are deficient upstairs. It is those people who take a single religious stance and end up being menace to themselves and the society. |
