FamilyRe: Are you feeling angry right now? Let-off steam here! by Cogent: 7:46am On Jan 08, 2012
Am angry o!!! Yes, am angry. Am angry with the Majority of Nigerians that are so fucking intellectually lazy. Tooooooo lazy to find out what is going on in the country by themselves. They just expect information to be packaged and brought to them. And too foolish to see that Boko Haram is Government sponsored, too sentimental to see that Northerners/Muslims are not the ones they should direct their anger to, but instead to that mofo Jonathan.
The animal Jonathan that does practically nothing to curb Boko Haram after publically declaring that he knows their sponsors.
PoliticsRe: NLC And TUC REPLIES President Goodluck Jonathan by Cogent: 6:09am On Jan 08, 2012
I hope that with all that has happened, Nigerians that voted that man have learnt that it can be disastrous to vote a person just because of his name (Goodluck) or because he comes from a particular region.
@topic,
NLC and TUC carry go jare.
No mind that mumu, why did he not put measures in place to cushion subsidy removal BEFORE removing subsidy? And some animals on this forum are coming to support what he did and bleating crap about how sacrifices should be made to move a country forward. RUBBISH.
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Base Found In North Cameroun! by Cogent: 5:43am On Jan 08, 2012
SILAKABUWA:
A journalist friend sent this to me. . .I'm yet to corroborate this information. Anyone who knows anything about it, please share. I'm very curious!

It was reliably gathered from an honest policeman that unknown to the public, the Police Command in Gombe caught one of the gunmen that opened fire in a church in Gombe. The police found out that he's an SSS operative and his village is at TARABA near CAMEROUN. Thereafter, there was a directive from above and enormous pressure to suppress and kill the story. Please broadcast to everybody so that they know we know and we'll continue to occupy their plans and evil thoughts. WE'LL KEEP EXPOSING THEM! AGENTS OF DOOM,
Is it not obvious that GEJ has a lot of questions to answer?
I used to think CPC members were the ones behind Boko Haram but from the way things have been going so far, I am fully convinced that that evil character called Jonathan is part of those sponsoring them.
I just feel bad that the Igbo brothers will see the killing as what is targeted towards them instead of the wicked distraction GEJ intended it as.
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram KILL 6 more on Sunday , Very very sad, over 60 killed since last week by Cogent: 7:37pm On Jan 06, 2012
The foolishness of Nigerians can be soooo depressing.
Why are so many people so daft?
OK, All of you coming here to chant 'fight the Hausas!!!, Fight the Muslims!!!, Boko Haram killed Igbos today so fight, fight, fight!!!'

What makes you so sure this is Boko Haram's handwork?
Was any type of investigation carried out to prove that the Hausas who you want to kill are behind this?

It is official, this is not a democratic government but a military one.
As usual, Nigerians will just disturb on Nairaland and make noise and insult Jonathan and then go and continue living in opression quietly

FamilyRe: 5 Things Every Extrovert Should Know About Introverts by Cogent: 11:35am On Jan 03, 2012
Not to offend anyone here, I am also introverted but I don't think staying in your house for a week/weeks is an healthy thing to do, you do that constantly and you end up forgetting the basic conventions and rules of interacting in society (I guess that's why a lot of introverts do weird stuff when interacting with others) besides even if you are not meeting up with friends or whatever, you can go out and work, make money, become rich; that is unless you're doing an online job. . . . again, no offence.
Car TalkRe: Petrol @ 97 Naira Per Litre ( Petrol Saving Tips For Your Cars & Suvs ) by Cogent: 8:32am On Jan 03, 2012
6. An average fast food now cost around N900 for a simple meal of fried rice and chicken and people still patronize them. The last time I went to tantalizers. I was livid. All fast foods sell grilled chiken for around N550. That chicken cost less than N100 and they sell it that high and we go there and pay for it. It is insane. But the fact is, we do it because we dont want to be seen as not up to it.
This one.
This one makes me so angry. The constant exploitation by fast foods and the refusal of Nigerians to quit patronizing them.

PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Gives 3 Days Ultimatum To Southerners Living In The North by Cogent: 8:08pm On Jan 02, 2012
And to the Igbos calling their fellow Igbos back home,
It may be hard for you to believe but some Igbos are muslims.
Yes, they are not many but there are Muslim Igbos.
If you think the solution to the problem is to ask all Igbos in the North to come home, then you would be endangering their lives further because they Muslims are being targeted in the South.
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Gives 3 Days Ultimatum To Southerners Living In The North by Cogent: 8:05pm On Jan 02, 2012
Wahala dey o.
If it is foreign forces abeg let us bring them, because the way things are going, I don't think GEJ wants to help Nigerians out.
The mumu came out before to claim that he knows Boko Haram have sponsors and up till now he has not brought those sponsors to book.
I am tired abeg.
This their new directive for Southerners to leave the North will endanger the lives of Muslim Northerners in the south that can and actually do coexist peacefully with their neighbors.
Besides, it is a foolish directive.
Not all Muslims are from the North and not all Christians are from the South. Are people supposed to just abandon their states of origin because some illiterates Al-Majiris asked them to go?

Being an introvert doesn't make someone a loner emotionally, ofcourse we desire\make or have emotional connections with people.
not really true.

i know a lot of extroverts who are on nairaland.

many people are here as a hobby, or because they find it interesting. Or have some other reason.

doesnt mean the extroverts still dont get their groove on in other ways like clubbing, socializing, etc.

the extroverts could still use the site as something to fill in the hours during downtime.
Yup, I agree. But I was not really talking about those ones, I was referring to the ones that are almost online 24hrs and even have multiple ID's sef.  grin grin grin

Thank God for this post I was beggining to think something is wrong with me until now.I had been indoor since yesterday morning  apart from going to empty the dustin basket downstair this morning. A friend of mine. Was gere yesterday and was asking if am okay or why could I be alone in the house. I believe this extrovert people are the one really causing problem to this world. I don't get mad easy, but if I do someone must get hurt. Is that part of been introvert or wat? The lasttime I get mad with anyone was about 7 years ago. People do offende me but I easly forgive until I can't take it anymore. Am also very shy but I chat with a stranger if I want to. Am happy for this post.
@bolded, why na?
Change that aspect of yourself, it is not part of being an introvert. Introverts are supposed to be logical thinkers, not people that let emotions get the better of them.

@topic,
All these people coming out and admitting to being introverts is coming as no surprise to me.
You cannot be an extrovert an be an active participant on Nairaland, day in, day out.
Infact I think anyone on NL with more than 4000 posts is an introvert.
Extroverts love leaving their houses and talking to actual real life human beings, not just online ones.
That being said, I wish more extroverts will read the topic.
The way they give introverts grief can be really annoying and offensive.

@ Lastpage.

After going through your post. My question for you, is this. What kinda solution can you proffer to the spade of bombings and killings going on in the country,   Do we fold our hands and watch these bastards bomb us out of existence?
Brother, I don't know wha will put an end to this whole thing once and for all, but I can assure you that it is not killing innocent people that do not even support Boko Haram in the first place.
This BH issue is the handiwork of politicians, so much evidence has come out to prove it, even the governor of Niger state mentioned after the christmas day bombings that he knows some sponsors of Boko Haram.
Why should we take to killing ourselves and endangaring those that mean something to us when the real culprits are enjoying their lives peacefully and successfully?
PoliticsRe: Egbesu Fraternity Claim Responsibility For Sapele Bombing by Cogent: 9:55am On Dec 30, 2011
It is probably still the same politicians sponsoring the Egbesu whatever to further cause rife in Nigeria. While they send people to kill innocents and make life constantly unsafe for us, they are busy running round the world, living in mansions and enjoying the best things life has to offer.
And our inept monkey on the presidential seat is telling us that it is something we have to live with.
