No doubt... putting everything that should be disclosed in court out to the public. It is to get public support for him to be first tried and sentenced locally ... and sent to the US after serving the sentence. He would never be allowed to go tonsing in thenUS for the Feds ... Spot on man, am just surprised at some comments here, the future is indeed female, take a look at President Biden's appointments, the future is indeed female.
No offense to his fans, am also a fan, he got it wrong, times have changed
Wittyduchess:
So in other words ,prior to feminism ,there has been no case of domestic violence in Nigeria and Nigerian men have not been throwing their wives and kids on to the streets?

Infact before feminism it was very common for a man to just wake up and throw his wife and kids onto the streets and the woman's family will still come and beg him.

Before feminism ,it was common for a woman to forebear torture from her husband because she knows even if she leaves she will be turned back to her husband's house by her own family.

And Mr peter ,I am sure there are many things that defines a woman in general than what type of dish she is able to prepare to keep her horseband.

And with no apologies ,I put it to you Mr peter Edochie that you are a misogynist.
Health / Re: 5G Network: Can It Cause Cancer or COVID-19? by cokoesang: 2:52pm On Apr 05, 2020
[Spot on my guy, u said it all. Pls 5G is the list of our problems now as the COVID-19 numbers are rising daily.
quote author=Fariq post=88118168]You only talk on the physics aspect without the biological aspect which concerns life.

5G network operates at 60 Giga hertz which is oxygen absorption band. I.e 98 percentage of the energy at that frequency is absorbed by atmospheric oxygen.

This changes the optical properties of oxygen, which in turns makes it difficult to bind to haemoglobin when inhaled by a person.

In the human body, oxygen binds to haemoglobin in the red blood cells which then circulate to all tissues of the body.

Less binding capacity of oxygen to haemoglobin = less oxygen to the tissues of the body = shortness of breath and related complications.

5G is also linked to immunosuppression that weakens the body immune system. Having in mind that the body immune system is responsible for defense against foreign pathogens including coronavirus.

Awol1:
Quiet an epistle you have here. I admit I couldn't read all. But I went through your bible quotations looking for 2nd letter of St. Paul to Timothy where Paul advised Timothy to take little wine because it's good for his stomach.

You conspicuously left that aspect of the bible out ( that's if you know of it's existence at all) and chose the passages that support your thrashy talk.

Jesus himself turned water into wine at the wedding of Cana.

St. Paul then advised Timothy to take little wine because it's good for his stomach.

At last the bible says too much of everything is bad. That should be your guiding principle. Even too much of food is bad.

Christianity is not as hard as you gods of men make it.

Las las, true Christianity is a personal encounter with God. When you do encounter God, you will be living by his directions. If He tells you to drink, you do. If otherwise, don't.

Enough of this lengthy corrugation on wine plz.

Gbam, spot on bro, u just said it all in a nutshell.

Well you're right. My reasons for saying there are no viable competitors may be self-centered/biased.

I'm already used to watching some channels/programmes on dstv, which I consider irreplaceable (and sadly, Start times and Kwese don't offer such).

The kind of Nollywood movies I saw on Kwese for example are sadly disappointing. I'm already used to watching largely recent 2017-2018 Nollywood movies on ROK 1 & 2, I mean the type you see in naija cinemas. I don't see why I should go back to old school movies at the same cost sad sad

i feel u bro, i got the message on my screen last night, i have been doing the same calculation, and will finally stick to DStv hoping they reconsider, i watch good movies on AMUrban, RoK and Rok2, i havent seen the ones on Kwese to make any comparison but reading this from u, mehn, my mind is made up, lets keep managing and hoping it wiill be better even though it hurts

Celebrities / Joe Jackson, Musical Family Patriarch, Dead At 89 by cokoesang: 12:27pm On Jun 28, 2018
Joseph "Joe" Jackson, the patriarch who launched the musical Jackson family dynasty, died Wednesday at a Las Vegas hospital, a source close to the family tells CNN.

He was 89.
Jackson was the father of and at times manager to pop stars Michael and Janet Jackson, along with the sibling singing group, The Jackson 5.
No cause of death has been released, but Jackson had reportedly been in ill health.
"I have seen more sunsets than I have left to see," read a tweet posted Sunday from Jackson's official Twitter account. "The sun rises when the time comes and whether you like it or not the sun sets when the time comes."
His daughter, La Toya Jackson, tweeted about her father Wednesday.
"I will always love you! You gave us strength, you made us one of the most famous families in the world," she wrote on her official Twitter account. "I am extremely appreciative of that, I will never forget our moments together and how you told me how much you cared. #RIP Joe Jackson."
Some of Jackson's grandchildren also paid tribute on social media, writing that he "made everything possible."

Jackson married his wife, Katherine, in 1949. They moved into into a home on Jackson Street in Gary, Indiana, the following year, where they welcomed their first of 10 children, Maureen "Rebbie" Jackson.
Rebbie was followed by Sigmund "Jackie" Jackson in 1951, Toriano "Tito" Jackson in 1953, Jermaine Jackson in 1954, La Toya Jackson in 1956, Marlon Jackson in 1957, Michael Jackson in 1958, Steven Randall "Randy" Jackson in 1961 and Janet Jackson in 1966.
Marlon's twin, Brandon, died soon after birth.
With a large family to support, Joe Jackson surrendered his dreams of becoming a boxer and secured a job as a crane operator for US Steel.
He and his brother Luther formed a band in the mid-1950s called The Falcons, intent on booking gigs for extra money.
The band only lasted a few years, but Jackson had developed an ear for music and believed he had found some talent in his children. He formed The Jackson Brothers in 1963 -- with sons Tito, Jackie and Jermaine -- and began entering them in local talent shows. With the addition of Marlon and Michael, The Jackson 5 was born in 1966. Two years later, they signed with Motown Records.
They went on to become one of the most successful R&B groups in history, with their father initially acting as their manager.
At the height of their stardom, The Jackson 5 sold millions of records and had their own CBS variety show.
"Joseph's role as manager dwindled however as Motown CEO Berry Gordy began to take more charge on his act, a role that reverted back to Joseph when he began managing the entire family for performances in Las Vegas," according to Jackson's official site. "Joseph also helped his sons seal a deal with CBS after leaving Motown."
The success of The Jackson 5 led to Michael Jackson going solo, becoming such a major star that he was later dubbed the King of Pop. Youngest daughter Janet also became a hugely successful recording artist.
The elder Jackson managed daughters Rebbie, La Toya and Janet in the early 1980s until they, like their brothers before, struck out on their own.
Joe Jackson was criticized at times for being a harsh taskmaster. His children told stories about their father being hard on them growing up.
In 2013 interview with CNN, Jackson was asked about Janet's complaint that the children were not allowed to call him "Dad," instead referring to him as "Joe."
"You had all those kids running hollering around," Jackson said. "They're hollering, 'Dad, Dad, Dad,' you know, and it gets to be -- it sounds kind of funny to me. But I didn't care too much about what they called me, just as long as they (were) able to listen to me and what I had to tell them, you know, in order to make their lives successful. This was the main thing."
Jackson admitted that he disciplined his children physically, but said he had no regrets.
Related: Joe Jackson on physically disciplining his kids: 'I'm glad I was tough'
"I'm glad I was tough, because look what I came out with," he said. "I came out with some kids that everybody loved all over the world. And they treated everybody right."
Jackson also weathered some controversy after his wife documented his alleged extramarital affairs in her book, "My Family, The Jacksons."
The couple split more than once and lived apart for decades, but they reportedly never divorced.
The couple presented a united front when Michael died in 2009 from an overdose of propofol.
The elder Jackson told CNN his son had tried to reach him before his death, but they didn't connect.
"He says, 'Call my father.' This was before he passed. 'He would know how to get me out of this,'" Joe Jackson said. "But they didn't get in touch with me. They said they couldn't find me, but I was right there."
Just this past weekend, Janet Jackson hailed her father during an acceptance speech at a Radio Disney awards ceremony.
Janet Jackson thanks reportedly ailing father
"My mother nourished me with the most extravagant love imaginable," she said. "My father, my incredible father drove me to be the best I can. My siblings set an incredibly high standard, a high bar for artistic excellence."

The truth is, that panelty was soft. Mascherano's hand was in contact with Leon Balogun but it was Leon that leaned back and not the Argentine player pulling him. We were lucky to be awarded that kick.

And all those screaming that the ref was biased towards Nigeria, have no idea about some of the rules in the game of football.

We had the chance to bury the game and Ighalo squanderd it.

Spot on, so right my brother, anyone in doubt should watch that again (in slow motion), that penalty awarded to us wasnt fair to Argentines, truth be told without bias.

Rojo did not commit any penalty.
Go and read FIFA rules concerning hadlng balls that can result in a penalty.

Your blame should rightly go to Ighalo and the lack of concentration and focus from your team in the dying minutes.
Wtach the way the Iceland and Coratians players hande the Argentines and compare that to Nigeria.

They tried but luck and lack of focus was not on their side.

The first ever royal family same-sex wedding between the Queen’s cousin Lord Ivar Mountbatten and his partner James Coyle.

Lord Ivar, 55, came out 2 years ago, 6 years after the end of his 16-year marriage with ex-wife Penny Mountbatten which saw the birth of their 3 daughters.

In an interview with Daily Mail, it was revealed that Penny will give Lord Ivar’s hand out in his wedding to James in a private chapel on his country estate in Devon later this summer.

They have described the wedding as a very small affair, saying:

We’ll be pronounced partners in marriage, but the ceremony itself will be very small. It’s just for the girls and close family and friends.

We’ll have lovely food and really good music, but there won’t be two men in tuxedos on a cake, white doves or anything twee or contrived like that, will there?

A horse

A hospital.

It's an honour to meet with you.

Politics / Theresa May Asks Nigeria, Others To Revoke Anti-same Sex Laws by cokoesang: 12:33pm On Apr 18, 2018
The British Prime Minister, Theresa May, on Tuesday in London urged countries that had made laws banning same-sex marriage to change their stand.

She described such laws as outdated legislations.
May made the call while addressing leaders at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting holding in the British capital.

Nigeria is one of the Commonwealth nation’s that have promulgated laws against same-sex marriage.

May promised her country’s support for any country that would revoke the law.

She said three countries that had earlier made such laws recently revoked them and advised others to emulate them.

She said no one should make any law persecuting or discriminating against another person on account of who the person chooses to love.

The Prime Minister recalled that the last Commonwealth meeting resolved to float an organisation that would promote the interest of gays, lesbians and transgenders.

She said, “Recent years have brought welcome progress. The three nations that have most recently decriminalised same-sex relationships are all Commonwealth members, and since the heads of government last met, the Commonwealth has agreed to accredit its first organisation for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.

“Yet there remains much to do. Nobody should face persecution or discrimination because of who they are or who they love. And the UK stands ready to support any Commonwealth member wanting to reform outdated legislation that makes such discrimination possible, because the world has changed. When, in 1953, the newly-crowned Queen Elizabeth set off on a tour of the Commonwealth, she travelled by air, sea and land on a journey that took more than five months.
Today, many members of the Youth Forum have only ever known a time in which they can instantly converse with one another regardless of where in the world they live.

“Unlike previous generations, today’s young people don’t need an organisation like the Commonwealth to connect them. They can build their own bridges, forge their own links, mastermind and run their own campaigns.

“If the Commonwealth is to endure in such a world, we must demonstrate our relevance and purpose anew. We must show what the Commonwealth is capable of and this summit can be the moment where that change begins to happen.”

May also stated that her country was investing £44m for improving the abilities of member-nations to independently curb any menace of natural disasters in their countries.

The Presidency however declined comment when our correspondent sought to know if President Muhammadu Buhari would consider May’s call.
