^^& your point is. . . |
Nigeria is the only country where the leader of the nation calls on the citizenry to pray in an attempt to take their minds off the harsh realities around them.I'm not aware of any other country where the leader asks the led to pray for the nation.even countries where religion is inseparable from the state |
^^Take your time dearie,I'm a very patient man ![]() |
When I'm trying to relate with someone, anyone. And they start going; 'By his special grace' 'by God's grace' 'honestly speaking' 'God is my witness' 'believe you me' reh, reh, reh, bla, bla, bla bros I don run be that o.Those are the tell tale signs of a hypocrite & a fraud-waiting-in-the-wings |
Why didn't Vanguard send a female reporter to embark on the trip? That way, they would have had no excuses barring her from the labour room.I don't understand how these media houses operate.Whatever happened to investigative journalism |
Watch Lewis win this race ![]() |
I don't get this. Who was doing the spraying?Tinubu or who? |
Sigh!Nigerians,so you didn't pick the call for fear you might die?Smh.You just lost a job you probably been waiting for,for eons.I feel for my people |
More Poverty=More Religion This is a result of a Gallup poll; Religion has a surprisingly high correlation with poverty, according to a Gallup survey conducted in more than 100 countries. The more poverty a nation has, the higher the “religiosity” in that nation. In general, richer countries are less religious than poorer ones. The biggest exception? The United States, which has the highest religiosity relative to its wealth on the planet. http://www.ritholtz.com/blog/2010/09/religions-correlation-with-poverty/ |
Poverty has ruined my country & have made them pliant to all sorts of indoctrination, charade and façade. This is so sad,I feel really terrible,I'm sickened & seriously perturbed |
If reinforcements arrived how then did they all escape?Mthceeeeew |
About the robbery,in other climes SWAT would be flooding the premises but NO!Not Naija. What a sorry state of affairs |

OAM4J:What else is new |
of course I do!I can be that understanding ![]() |
ok ![]() |
^^Your write up makes a lot of sense but you ruined a good work with the way you jumbled everything. You'd do well do break it up in parts next time,i.e paragraphing. |
I luv me a lil sense of humour but you still ingenuously sidestepped the crux of the issue.I guess i'll never get a straight answer anyways because we all know the truth of the matter but some would rather choose to introduce sophistry and highly ornamented language to embellish the cold hard truth |
I see the fear mongers are back in full swing. Why all the fear mongering with the twisted pics but you (yes you anti-abortionists) disingenuously continue to side step the core issue.'Can abortion ever be justified'?If your answer is in the negative, even at the risk to the mum?Or even if the fetus has acute congenital disorder or defect? |

^^I simply don't understand the 'under no circumstance'line being propagated by the pro-lifers.Even when it is glaring that certain circumstances make an abortion absolutely necessary. It's just an unreasonable line to take |
If you can't have a male nanny but you do have a male security man,is that not more or less the same thing ![]() |
Still waiting to hear from the pro-lifers who insist abortion is unacceptable under any circumstance.Wonder why they're all silent ![]() |
@OP what do you mean by 'churchy'?Is going to church on a regular a hallmark of a 'good guy'?What about a guy that clubs and drink, yet dote on you like his life depends on it,would you give him a look in?Or you only prefer prayer warriors |
^^Gbam! We should be more focused on the 'trickle-down' effect of such fast-paced growth. Not bandying numbers about that don't mean much to the average Joe |
it is well:Always quick to take the credit & shift the negatives to his 'detractors'.Mtcheeew |
PointB: internal matter indeed,6 of one, half a dozen of the other. |
Journalists in the Tribune seriously need to undergo a refresher course on journalistic writing |
I hope mr Beghet Paccolli would not return to his country only to deny ever signing anything. The FG had better hold on to their horses & wait till everything has been properly put in place before screaming their lungs out. They should have learnt their lessons by now or do they ever learn? |
Bounties don't work in that part of the world.Just reporting a robbery makes you an accomplice, let alone ratting out Nigeria's Most Wanted. You just put your life on the line |
This is a simple, low cost/no cost innovation that could light up homes in the rural and remotest parts of Nigeria. All you need is a water bottle, fill with water & some bleach (to prevent algae),create a hole in the roof of the house and insert the bottle/plastic container and voila! You get up to 50 to 60 watts of light with the help of the sun which charges the particles creating a chemical reaction making the bottle illuminate as strongly as a 60 watt electrical light bulb. The light is bright white.
