Without the Catholics there wouldn't have been any bible. There was no bible until over 300 years after the supposed death of Jesus when the catholic bishops voted and decided to choose what was the word of god and what was not the word of god from the so many writings that were available to be included in the canon. Infact the catholic bishops gave the names or tittle to the gospels and epistles. The gospels were written without tittles and who ever wrote the gospel didn't say who he was. The catholic bishops decided to name them as gospel according to John, Matthew etc. The bible itself as a book is a catholic invention.
