What lame excuses am I making? The truth is Both of them are wrong. I never supported the woman here, maybe u should read what I had written and try to understand it. I said though it is good a man should not hit a woman but in most cases, it is the woman that provokes such action. I have been perusing thru this thread to see or hear from our uncle Ola of high erudition 1, yes just 1 good thing Islam has brought to Nigeria but our man has continued to skirt around the issue whilst thinking . Anywayz to answer your question,we're dealing with humans here & everyone has a choice how to live his/her life. It's like asking 'why do people still engage in premarital sex' or adultery or unprotected sex in spite of all the warnings of STIs/STDs unwanted pregnancies religous beliefs etc,etc. Remeber somebody once said 'if you don't drink, smoke or love,you don't live longer-it just seems longer'.
