...For the Career Buharists, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) is the “messiah”. Any attempt to set the records straight by highlighting the dark days of Buhari is viewed by these people as being paranoid. They would ask you, who is scared of Buhari if not corrupt people? In the real sense of it, I don’t think anyone (including a kid from my home town) is scared of Buhari. Some of us that talk about him do so to establish the facts because he has been living on image-laundered life. Within these few days, lots of people have seen that Buhari didn’t build any refinery for Nigeria. He has no legacy despite ruling the country with iron-fist for almost 2 years. He is indeed corrupt as shown by this article and again, no Igbo have worked or working for Buhari, neither did any Igbo marry his daughter. These are the laundered image he has been living on for a long time now.
Facts are sacred, but not to the Career Buharists. To them, Buhari is God’s ‘gift’ to mankind and the most popular politician that can solve our numerous problems in a jiffy. Behind these accolades from his admires, is a man that has lost presidential elections three times consecutively. In 2003, over 24 million Nigerian rejected him. The same number rejected him in 2007 and in 2011; about 22 million rejected him. The excuse has been that, he was rigged out, but facts and figures proved that he is definitely unelectable.

He Is A Hypocrite And Sanctimonious:
Buhari is a self-acclaimed anti-corruption Czar, yet he served under late Sani Abacha without complaining of corruption. In the same period Buhari served as PTF Chairman under Abacha, Nigeria was named the 2nd most corrupt country in the world in 1996 by Transparency International; the most corrupt country in 1997 and 3rdmost country in 1998. Buhari didn’t resign or protest. He dismissed the TI Report with a wave of the hand. Can he do the same if such report says Nigeria is the most corrupt country in 2014? I know that Buhari would protest and call President Jonathan names.

Buhari as a man of integrity as he claims should have done what Tai Solarin, Duro Onabule and Ebitu Ukiwe did under IBB’s regime. IBB’s attempt to take Nigeria into the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) made his Chief of General Staff, Ebitu Ukiwe to resign. Ukiwe maintained that Nigeria, as a country, should not be a member of a religious organisation. Individual organisation can take up membership of religious organisations, but not the country. IBB made Tai Solarin the chairman of Peoples Bank with no fund and power to run it; he resigned and tendered his apology to Nigerians.

Buhari has not apologized to Nigerians for working for the most corrupt govt in the world then, but he still maintains that Abacha didn’t loot Nigeria dry even as Abacah loots are still being sent back to Nigeria.

When he took over power by the gun, he supported rigging because it favoured him. But now, he is shouting of rigging. Hear him:

“The last general election was anything but free and fair. The only political parties that could complain of election rigging are those parties that lacked the resources to rig.” - M. Buhar (First Speech after Military Coup, 31 December, 1983.

Even obama does things like this. Just that Jonathan played too much politics with important national issues or he allowed it.

All the same, he should remain there till the opposition gives us a viable candidate not one who believes its his birthright to rule.

Next president after Jonathan should be no more than 50 years old!!! Minimum of bachelors degree, years of experience in top management should be not less 10 and many other strict requirements.

Then they should remove that untouchable rubbish, if corrupt after leaving office, he can be arrested and charged!!!!...NOBODY is above the law

I concur. GEJ left certain things to linger for too long. At a point his lethargy gave me serious cause for concern. But he has performed relatively well in other sectors.
The opposition shot themselves in the foot by recycling a candidate whose antecedents both in his speeches and actions we are well aware of & nothing to be proud of.

It took a clear impending election loss for wicked jonaTAN to decide to finally do what he ought to have done over 5years simply because the plot to allow the insurgency grow and then use it as an excuse to prevent election would not work again.

The question any reasonable Nigerian should be asking is "were the weapons used in fighting Boko Haram in the 3weeks just manufactured in 2015" what made soldiers ran away leaving their armoury and cache of arms for Boko Haram to come loot? the commanders directed tactical withdrawal for political reasons and arming the insurgents to allow them linger.


Is CHAD doing us a favour because it loves Nigeria and hence ready to lose its own soldiers for an insurgency that the Nigerian government allowed to flourish and gained grounds? the answer is well documented in the Habre invasion of Nigeria in 1982. the Chadians aren't doing this for love or fun of war, there is something in it for them and so far our Government gave them the blank check of official inviatation, then the same foolish government that invited Idris Derby to come fight its war for it should not be blocking the advance of the soldiers if the goal is to end the INSURGENCY.


Why is the government scared of the Chadian advance if the CinC flew to N'djemena to beg the Chadian president for help, Didn't Buhari quelled Maitastine with Nigerian soldiers alone? didn't he fight the chadians invasion in 1982 with solely Nigerian soldiers? do we need the help of a country less than a state in our country to fight Boko Haram in the first place?

This only looks contradictory because you don't pay attention or misinterpreted what I wrote.
The problem (is that really a problem) about being a God is that you can't change your will ie you can't have one will today and change to another tomorrow, because God is perfect every will that issued from Him is always perfect and don't need any change whatsoever, if He change it that means it's not perfect in the first place.
In my write up earlier I said we all agree God is eternal which necessary follows that His will as been forever and encompasses all that will forever take place. it means His will are forever thesame can never be change.
Now, the belief that God can do whatever he likes has a presupposition that He can change His will anytime He wants.
I think the misconception came about because you imagine God as human do that change and have new will almost everyday, but God way is not like that, He those not develop will as we do because not only is He Omnipotent but also Omniscience which means His will encompass all from the very beginning.
I hope am clear now.

The corollary therefore,is either your god is powerless to stop anything or he simply doesn't exist. I always stick with the latter

According to inside source, it has been revealed that the APC presidential candidate Gen. Buhari who is presently in the UK, is set to visit Cambridge University in person to collect his WAEC certificate before returning back to Nigeria. This might be a very good strategy on his side to further woo electorate to his side during the coming election, and more importantly to finally silenced the PDP on the certificate saga.

I still find it odd that Buhari spent a good number of days in the UK and still couldn't retrieve his CTC from Cambridge & his apologists do not see anything wrong with this. This should raise a red flag & anyone with a brain the size of an apple should be asking pertinent questions,not shouting down people asking these questions.
