Try traveling to other countries and see the way their presidents are guarded. Whenever Obama visits a state in the US the entire state's police force is not deployed to guard him. And this is the MOST POWERFUL MAN in the world! For heavens sake the British PM occasionally uses public transport!! Ask yourself is Nigeria's president any better than the presidents of these great countries

Apparently you view yourself as a slave hence you see nothing wrong with an entire state's police force being deployed to guard ONLY ONE MAN! Fashola is an EXCELLENT example of how a CIVILIZED PRESIDENT should behave. When he is moving around Lagos he hardly uses sirens and neither does he move around with the entire Lagos Police Force. Is he dead yet? Until we learn to away with our slave mentality and start asking our leaders questions, they would continue to do as they please and lord it over us because we have decided to remain unquestioning sheep in the face of misuse of power

Robbers of such calibre do not operate without solid information. How well do you think they can operate when they get info from the police themselves about how majority of their men will be at alert concerning the president's visit? Maybe these robbers have been studying the trend of mr president's visit and must have noticed how concentrated on him the nigeria police are whenever he visits any state, a thing they took advantage of.

It's just so sad that here in nigeria, we ignore little signs that might lead to the solving of big cases.
