I once supported Biafra but that was before the age of internet, to my Igbo brothers who claim the victim, that there mothers and Fathers only told them Hausa did this and that, try one day and ask your mama and papa telling u about Biafra to tell u what caused it I bet u 70percent don't know. The only part they know is when heads start rolling and people start dieing.

If u want to hear the truth try and listen from both sides don't just listen your own part.

The day I finally learnt the truth and accepted it, it was as if a huge burden left me, I once hated Nigeria, especially the north but after I learnt the truth I have come to love them, so much that people who know me in person even from other tribes censor there arguments about northerners around me cause I will defend them to my very last.

If igbos leave others will seek theirs too. That is why they do not want igbos to go. Its not that they are afraid of igbos breaking up.. It's just the ripple effect it will have on other regions who will consider leaving..

So this your theory holds no water.
I am Igbo but if my state can be carved out of Biafra, I can support its secession, but as far as IMO state is being put on that Biafran map, it will never happen.

If u are reasonable debate me to it and prove he wrong.

Southeast land mass is too small for considerable agriculture, compared to other regions.

South eastern oil fields are marginal amongst the 3oil producing regions south east have the lowest reserves.

North has been focusing on oil while solid minerals remain untapped, if regions control there resources north would fall back to its solid minerals.

North still has agricultural land in surplus.

Please tell me the resources you want to control in the resource control?

Lol. You aren't a businessman so don't talk about trade and call their hustle petty. By the way, do you expect them to get money from where to start in a big way? Everything big started from small.

There reason for going out to these countries is that there are less competition over there than in Nigeria.

Many of them who you call petty do so very well than their counterparts here.

And they have very favorable business environment, standard of living better, and Economy more stable than in this mismanaged enclave called Nigeria.

Check them out, you barely see those guys there looking bony. Like guys from Senegal look so well fed, at least they eat well than their malnourished counterparts in this idiotic country called Nigeria
As an ipob your opinion doesn't count. Until u speak from an unbiased perspective

Nigerians are funny sha, just to bear I dae abroad u guys go through hell.
With all the untapped locations in Nigeria with our large market somebody would go to Ghana to go and do petty trading.

If its there law I can't question it, but I hope ECOWAS won't scream blue murder when Nigeria retaliates.

I know many people from Niger republic in PH who own shops and kiosks and engage other petty services but we no send.

There country there rules Goodluck to them, poor countries are always very petty, the fact that Ghanaians are dragging petty trading with immigrants, a low-level business, shows how low these Ghanaians are. If not for Juliet Ibrahim I would think all Ghanaians are not reasonable

Are they now taking the miscreants serious?

The cabals has ran to RUSHIA to acquire arms in the name of fighting bokoharams as they told their papers to write but we in ipob knows they are preparing for Biafra secession

THEY HAVE RAN TO SAUDI ARABIA FROM THERE UK

AND I ASK THOSE WHOSE ASKING KANU TO COME HOME AND SEEK BIAFRA...DID THE CABALS SIT IN ASOROCK AND BEG PUTIN, SAUDI KING AND SOON UK FOR HELP?
THE ANSWER IS NO

KANU IS MAKING DIPLOMATIC MOVES THATS MAKING THE CABALS RUNNING AROUND FOR HELP

Whatever you call hate by the igbos was first played by the north and the Nigerian government...
The level of marginalization .....
What were you expecting before?
Give them those things that make them yarn for secession and see if the would clamour for it again...

Let restructure this country
Let every region control their resource ..
and see if they would want a different country...
The resistance and jettison of the north in the bid and idea of restructuring is what making the Igbos look at them as PARASITE. As people who can't stand on their own....
LoL... If everyone control's there's resources south east go suffer o

You frightened, parasitic and bigoted 'one Nigeria' schmucks haven't even convinced yourselves on the viability and sustainability of your shithole, never mind trying to do the impossible of truncating the Biafran dream!

'Biafra is all noise', yet you and your sad ilk have been on this thread for days banging your head on the wall and insisting a potential Biafra would be 'landlocked' and frustrated by 'one Nigeria'! Is this the response one gives to something they see as 'inconsequential'?

Fact of the matter is Biafra scares the shi't out of you evil lot, and your hope is that if peradventure it becomes a reality, that it would comprise of just 'your 5 south-east states' and would be hemmed in and surrounded by a hostile Nigeria! How you managed to convince your deluded self that the likes of Annang/Ibibio/Efik, Ijaw, Ogoni, Opobo, Bonny, etc would be a party to your diabolical plans of trying to frustrate Biafra shows just how detached from reality you are!

If you believed yourselves you would long have agreed to a referendum for just the south-east states instead of sending down truckloads of red-eyed Fulani soldiers in the name of python dance to shoot at innocent agitators!
I have no problem with Biafra as far as IMO state is not going with it. If the 4eastern states want to go Goodluck

You dont even know the picture you posted. You put a picture of the River Niger without putting the water ways of Oguta or Obuaku.

Having a coastline does not make a country. There are over 40 landlocked countries on earth, they would not exist if it was all about having a shoreline.

Barge technology has gone far to the extent that River ports are fast replacing the more expensive sea ports.

Shoreline should never be the reason why people who want their independence should quit. All the shoreline Nigeria had has only led to it being the porverty capital of the world while a small landlocked country of just 8 million people like Switzerland is the 13 richest country and makes more in invisible exports like banking and financial services than Nigeria makes in oil sales.

Those who are still thinking about shoreline and big population are still thinking small and Igbos dont think small
Why do you want your independence I would like to know

Not really. International law says that when a country is in entitled to a sea corridor if it is within 60 nautical miles of the sea. I know for a fact that parts of Imo and Bia are less than 20 nautical miles from the sea.

In the event that Biafra is declared, Nigeria is bound by Article 125 of the United Nation Convention On Laws Of The Sea(UNCLOS) to provide Biafra with a Sea corridor to move goods and humans. This is international law which if Nigeria breaks, Biafra will not only have the right to take Nigeria to court, Biafra will also have the to apply to the United Nation to place sanctions on Nigeria for breaking international law.
LoL... With all these laws yet Nigeria still dae like this. U know Africa never respects laws.

Even if the UN pressures Nigeria. Nigeria can still frustrate us, look at whats happening at the second Niger bridge, they had to sanfill most of the Niger. Nigerian government would just say they want to build a new bridge since the ones they have is in Biafra, then construct in halfway blocking and reasonable movement along the river Niger then abandon the project for lack of funds.

With an Independent Biafra, those waterways becomes "international Waters"
Seriously stop deluding yourself.

Even if u sign a deal with America or the UN for the waters to be international as far as its Nigerian territory and all the things u lots have said about Nigeria via instults to Nigerian leaders, eg Buhari. Nigeria would make sure they frustrate your efforts. I repeat FRUSTRATE your efforts.

They can withdraw navy or any form of security from the water ways its going to be biafran merchants in the hostile Niger Delta waters vs militants, kidnappers and pirates.

Chances of any tangible export or import reaching or leaving Biafra would be very slim.

Our economy would be Frustrated then our people would start digging holes under ground trying to cross border into Nigeria for a better life, like what happen between USA and Mexico.

That time una eye go clear

Let me tell you something you may not know. Theres a big difference between being landlocked and having access to the sea. Both are not the same thing. London is a landlocked city but London handles majority of British shipping. That's because London has waterways that lead from it to ocean such the River Thames and the River Lea. London has several River ports and many barges.

Technology has gone far. Gone are the days when you need a big wharf by the ocean before you can import or export. All you need now are water ways and barges or crane mounted barges. Crane mounted barges can go out to sea, meet a coastliner, discharge or receive goods or containers and return to an inland River port without need for a wharf. One barge can carry hundreds of containers.

A River port can be built in Oguta in Imo or Obuaku in Abia, both Oguta and Obuaku both have tributaries that run from them to the Ocean. Onitsha in Anambra already has a River port

The SE might be landlocked, but it definitely has access to the Sea.

However, Igbo land exceeds the so called SE
If u are Igbo, u are too intelligent to be this petty.

I advise u to stop this Biafra movement its born out of ignorance, if all u posted here is what u are banking on on sea access you will be highly disappointed. Like u said technology has really gone far, instead of wasting your time why don't u use Google maps to confirm your claims.

Its easier for a train or even a road to travel from oguta lake to Onitsha port than a boat talk more of a barge. oguta lake is very narrow and instead of flowing from Onitsha it dies a c turn through Igbo hinterlands far away from Onitsha. Some very narrow.

Everything Area4area is saying is the undiluted truth not fantasy.

Most of u arguing here are arguing fantasy not facts
