It's on its way to them today. But please keep in mind that they are receiving THOUSANDS of passports from us today, so it will take them longer than usual to sort through everything. If you go next Monday, it will definitely be ready for you. If you'd like to go this week, that's fine, but I'd call them first to be sure they're ready for you.

Thank you soo much ma'am.
God Bless you and your entire households and all consular officers diligently serving with selflessness.

do enjoy the rest of the day and the week.

Thanks again ma.

One thing this crisis has taught me is that the tracker is not always accurate. It's probably best to call the collection center before you go. BUT, we have printed a heck of a lot of visas, so it is more likely to be true than not!
Again, this weekend and Monday ONLY, if people ask me here about status updates I'll do my best to let you know where your passport is. But please understand that I have to stop as of Monday at close of business -- it's just not an efficient use of my time. Immigrant visas only.

Good day Ma'am,

please ma i checked the ustraveldocs.com site to track the status of my passport maybe its ready for pick up and this is the response i am getting. "There is no status update available for the passport number submitted". Please ma kindly help me locate if its already at the collection center. LGS2015513063.
I will be grateful to hear from you very shortly ma.

Thanks and God Bless you always ma.

Good day VO...thanks for all of your help till now. I finally got a message from the tracker, "your passport is ready for pick up"...does that mean it is at the collection center already?

Hello Papiyandrix, please can you tell when you had your interview?
Thanks!

VisaOfficer:

That's the only number they have. You might also try support-nigeria@ustraveldocs.com but they are probably having the same flood of inquiries that we have. We're going to be able to start printing many visas as of today (hurray), but keep in mind that we also have to check them to make sure all information is correct, package the immigration packets, and deliver them to the collection center. That means that e-mailing or calling the collection center today or tomorrow is likely not worth your time, as they have nothing to tell you yet. Monday is a better day for people to ask for updated statuses, but keep in mind that the more often people ask, the longer it will take us to respond to everyone... and the more time we'll spend reviewing e-mails instead of printing visas!

Yaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy!!! This is just the best news i ever heard of since last week. Thank you sooo many countless times our dearest V.O. You just made my day. Lol! And yes i can at this moment relax till Monday before contacting the collection center. God bless you always ma'am. Have a blessed day and enjoy rest of the week viz weekend.

VisaOfficer:
My reply to all the recent questions is the same:
Our systems are getting better. However, I can't tell anyone specifically when your particular visa will be printed, or if it will be printed by next week, etc. We are getting hundreds of e-mails from people asking these same questions -- some of the people e-mailing more than once a day -- so many e-mails that the e-mails themselves are slowing things down. Please, don't e-mail us more than once, and really there's no point in e-mailing us today -- it would make more sense to wait until Monday, as Saturday will be our big recovery / printing day here. Also, instead of e-mailing us, you can check your status online or call the collection center.
If your online status still says "Ready" even after you were interviewed and told you were approved, that means that your case looks good but that the computer glitches won't let us approve the case in the system / print the visa. Hang in there. We'll approve and print as soon as we can.
I'm glad to continue answering questions here in the meantime, but I really can't answer questions about whether specific visas have been printed or when they might be printed.

Dear Visa Officer, at this juncture, i would like to say A BIGGER THANK YOU towards your selfless services to us all here. You just gave us comforting re-assurance with your last comments here.
However, i'd like to ask if there is another contact telephone number the collection center can be reached with. because this number: 094601748, isn't going through at all. Kindly help in this area. Thanks always.

Regards

David T. Maxwell.

VisaOfficer:

At this time, our volume is too high to call or e-mail individuals when their visas are printed. Please continue to monitor the status online, to call the collection center, or to e-mail us at LagosIV@state.gov. Please note that with so many people e-mailing us repeatedly, we are unable to respond to everyone as quickly as usual.
It's too early for me to make any predictions at this time, but I'm hopeful that we're heading toward a full recovery.......

Ma'am i was also interviewed on June 12 and was approved. And i just sent an email to confirm if my visa has been printed. Please ma, i would be greatly happy and grateful if my visa is printed before this weekend cos my wife and I have a convention to attend first week of July. Thank you so much in anticipation of your response. God bless you ma always.

Hello Dear V.O

glad to have you back on this forum. Surely we have missed you alot.
Ma'am i'm also happy to let you know that i had my interview on Friday 12 of June. And my interview was very smooth and successful and my visa was approved. (Btw: All Consular Officers are soo nice). Just unfortunate for me i couldn't see your beautiful face that i can thank personally. But i pray deep in my heart that may God keep HIS unending blessings and care upon you and your households.

Ma, My brief questions are:

1. When will the visa be ready for pick up as its almost one week now since my interview. (Am aware though of the present computer glitch). Ma, i will be glad just to have a time frame in mind.

2. In order for me or my wife to pay the USCIS green card fee of $165 U.S Dollar, please ma how do we find the Alien registration number? (Is it the Passport number? Or the number on the DS260 confirmation page?).

I awaits eagerly for your response soon ma.

Thanks in a million times.

Best Regards

David T. Maxwell.

I have to admit I am terrible at directions, and don't know what CMS stands for. smiley My advice is to ask for directions when you get to VI -- people on the island should be able to assist you.

I understand ma, and thank you so much for your efforts and advice.

Someone posted on VJ that it should be one week to interview date. Please ma is that true?

Thanks.

The case hasn't been uploaded to our system in Lagos yet, but that date and time sounds right. If you've already submitted the AOS and supporting documents, no need to bring them again - but if you do bring them, that's fine. smiley

Alright ma! Thanks in a billion times. However, my prayer and faith in Jehovah God still remains to allowing me the one lifetime opportunity to see your gracefully face that very day. And i will keep that memory for a lifetime. You have indeed been more than helpful. If there's any other way to describes how helpful you have been, then i will still be the first to speak it louder. May Jehovah God continues to strengthening you and keep you alive for a longer years to come.

Best of Regards,

You are most welcome ma'am.
Btw: Happy Golden Jubilee Anniversary to your dearest parents. May Jehovah keep sustaining their cord of unions for ever.
However ma'am, since April 15th we have gotten CC from NVC, we are yet to be given an interview appointment. Please is there anything we can do? Do we still have chance of getting an appointment for interview in May or should we just look forward to June? Our visa category is CR1. Thanks always.

Hello Visa Officer. My Greetings to you ma'am. I have always follow up with the discussions, and your well tailored professional responses that you have been providing to various individual disturbing questions in this forum. Though i have never deemed it fit to ask or comment on any issue on here because i do not have any challenging situation beyond control so far. (All Praises To Jehovah God!) but i am moved with tears to write now when i stumbled on the sad news of your 'soon to depart' Nigeria. I must say you're a rare kind and of same breed with my lovely wife because of your great sense of humour, patience and your humility. I as a person, has really benefited sooo much beyond analysis from this forum by your great inputs and i know together with every members here, we will all greatly miss you! I, also, among many fortunate members on here, been praying hard to GOD to meet with you someday soon so as to share a lifetime memory of seeing you. But now that my case just been completed at the NVC, i praying even more harder to having an earliest interview date before your farewell bidding to Nigeria. Thank you so much forever! May Jah keep on replenishing your strengths and efforts to our all benefits and happiness!
Best Regards
