mario22: My fianceé anger issue is worrisome to me. ones she has a bad day, I will get my own share at home. I have begged her all i need in this marriage is togetherness, peace (she jokingly calling me Mr. peace of mind).
She just graduated and we are staying together for 2months now. She can be very sweet and hardworking, caring, can clean, arrange the house. I don't expect her to be this all good cos NOBODY is perfect, but her anger issue a big turn off.
When her Project supervisor was purposely frustrating her, and told her he will not accept her work and she will not defend (it was sorted out later) . I tried to talk and advise her she angrily walked out of my car in the middle of the road.
That night she wasn't talking to me and i started a call n went to the parlor, she came and was asking whom i was talking to and i said my guy, she queried but why did i go to the parlor, she flung our engagement ring away without knowing whom i was talking to (not cheating or calling any girl) she makes rash decisions when angry. like She can scatter our 2weeks plans cos of a small provocation.
I Love her but the anger issues is killing.
My friend, you are in serious trouble o, if you marry that girl.sge must make conscious effort to fix her anger issues before you marry her cos she will always put you in problems. No one and I mean no one will want to come close to you cos if your wife's attitude. Now the height of it is, when people see opportunities that will benefit you , they will be scared to come share it with you, still cos of your wife's attitude. I repeat don't go ahead until u are sure she has worked on herself.
ballergee123: Can you take a job of 50k as a BSc holder? most people will say yes and I don't blame them at all, I have worked as a manager of a guest house for four months and I was paid 27k in a month, the job title sure sounds like a big deal to some people when you say "I am the manager" they wouldn't know your two-month salary can't even afford iPhone 6.
The truth of the matter is Nigeria reward for labour is too cheap and that's why most people bring their businesses over here, pay us 350 euros in a month and we think it's big lol, but at least they pay well compared to Nigerians themself.
I find it difficult to understand why some of these food vendors are looking for someone with ND and some small businesses that pay 50k look for people with BSc, its insane, they will even use the hell out of you. Now I'm recruiting and managing for them and they never asked me for even an application letter and I make more than 100k a month, there are a lot of jobs like this, to be honest,
Nigeria is a place where you just have to find your way I guess because that's what most people with a good income are doing, most of them take contracts from people abroad. have you heard about Fiverr? I know of someone who makes roughly 1k dollars a month from just designing a website with WordPress on Fiverr.
Don't let anybody tell you there is no job so you have to settle for less, as for me I won't use my cert to apply for a 30k job again, laye!
My own question is how much should be paid to a computer science graduate that doesn't know any programming language, can't fix any network issues. Knows absolutely nothing other than have a bsc in CSC. My take is you shouldn't be paid just cos you have a bsc. You should be paid for skills
yetty247: A Nigerian pastor, Oluwaseun Basil Alabi, has warmed the hearts of many after he renovated a debilitated 60-year-old mosque in Ikire, Osun state.
This was shared online by a Facebook user, Bakara Adegboyegba, who revealed that the building was commissioned days before Sallah.
Sharing before and after photos of the Mosque, Bakara wrote in part,
“It was a joyful gathering of Muslim leaders in the quiet city of Ikire, in Irewole local government area of Osun State on Friday the 16th day of July 2021, as a sixty year old Alatise mosque located at Popo junction of the town renovated by a pastor was commisoned for use.”
The Chief Imam of Ikire land, Alhaji Yunus, commended Pastor Alabi for his selfless act to the community. Thereafter, he led a special prayer session for the pastor who resides in Minnesota, US.
Speaking on why he choose to renovate the mosque, Pastor Alabi said,
”I grew up in an Ikire community where religion had no effect on our relationship. It was a time when chritians participated actively in the religious festivities of Muslims.
A time when you would find many hijab wearing women attending church sessions of chritian weddings and burials. It was a time you find young children, Muslims and Christians play together in the mosques and eat saara (food items brought to mosque as alms)together without fear or intimidation.
It was a time that humanity United us and made us one strong family, living and sharing our goodness with love and togetherness.”
Where as oyedepo is busy establishing churches so he can snatch their mrnbers
BafanaBafana: The sacked pastor in this case was explicitly told about income. He was told the church should be able to generate money to run itself, and shouldn't be running at loss. They made a mistake in giving him the explanation, thinking he won't go public because of the fear of the wrath of God, but nigga is a Tiv man, dem no dey fear like that, he spilt everything. Imagine if the church was in bonny island, and they couldn't grow in numbers, but have a fat income, would they sack the pastor? Besides, when they talk about winning souls, do they mean leading people to Christ, or bringing members to their church? Because I don't see why you will be dragging someone who is attending a church already to come to your church, claiming to be winning souls. Furthermore, I don't know if I have ever seen a living faith member who is living a Christlike life. Church is just gymnastic for most of them. The only thing they take seriously is paying of tithe, which is the emphasis of their messages by the way
I owe you a bottle of cold water. If the church was in bonny island and they have just 10 members , but remits about 4 million naira on monthly basis, will they sack the pastor?
SexyBabe001: Bishop Oyedepo addresses issue of Living Faith Rural Churches Low Income:
NONSENSE ! OUR ONLY CRITERIA IS HOW MANY SOULS WON AND NOT HOW MUCH INCOME.
WHEN WE EMPLOYED 7000 PASTORS AT ONCE SOCIAL MEDIA WAS DEAD. WE HAVE MORE EMPLOYEES THAN MOST STATES IN NIGERIA AND WE HAVE NEVER OWED THEM OR TAKEN BANK OVERDRAFT ONCE.
THE PASTORS WERE ASKED TO GO BECAUSE THEY WERE UNFRUITFUL. MANY OF THE CHURCHES BUILT CAN NEVER PAY FOR THE CHURCH BUILDING IN 30 YEARS.
WE HAVE NO PATIENCE WITH FAILURE HERE.
-Bishop David Oyedepo at CHoP
*We have built more than 1,000 Churches in rural areas where in the next 30 years, they can never generate such fund, with each costing more than 14 Million Naira. *We are hunting after souls, not income.
People are confused about our Ministry. I learnt some fellows said, “you know, they are not bringing income, that is why they asked them to go.” We asked you to go because you are unfruitful.
Unfruitful! Blatant failure. Doing what there? We have no patience with failure here. When we employed 7,000 people at a time, Social Media was dead. We have more employees in this Organisation than most of the States. Church Gist. No one is owed a dime salary and we don’t borrow, we don’t beg. Ask our bank whether we take overdraft.
We are covenant bound, working in the light of God’ Word. Enjoying an open Heaven. We have fully delivered the first phase of 1,000 plus buildings to the rural Churches. None of those Churches can generate that fund in the next 30 years. No, we are hunting after souls.
Money: NONSENSE! We have never lacked it and yet we have never prayed for it, we are just simply obeying God and He is backing up what He is asking us to do. Awesome God.
Now the next set is about to be flagged off, just certifying the landed property issues, nothing else. We have no lack of anything. The world is confused.
Walking in the light of God’s Word. Please obey God to the full and watch out for His manifestations in your life. Well, you don’t need so much Mathematics to know a thousand buildings; that is not 1000 Naira each, that is not 10 Million (Naira) each, that is not 12 Million (Naira) each, that is not 14 Million (Naira) each.
Some are 35 Million (Naira). At a go! We have never seen it ourselves. We just watched God doing it. The only criteria: How many souls have they gotten there? Then, build for them. How many souls? Not once: “how much money do they have?” Apart from individuals now investing in promoting the Kingdom of God: building 5 Churches, some building 2, some building 3 Churches.
Just obey God. Church Gist. Obedience will turn you to a living wonder Have you ever seen raise a prayer point of “O God, send us money”? You have been here for some time, we pray every day. Now we pray 3 times a day: Covenant Hour of Prayer; Covenant Revival Prayer: Morning and Evening.
Going out every day on the streets. You want to see what we see, go and do what we do. But if you are not saved, there is nothing you do that matters. There is nothing you do that matters.
Note: The Church has spent over 2 Billion naira to built over 1000 church auditoria in the first phase.
One thing the government should know is Yoruba ethnic group is not a minority group. There are yorubas in Benin, Ghana and so on. I think it will be difficult to extradite igboho from Benin, from a French colony.
ProJectAnatot: The rate of inflation of general commodities especially food items is alarming to me . I have been in the southeastern part of the country since the end of January and some commodities like bread, soft drinks and even food have inflated by up to 50% since January. Please I am really confused about this situation. I am of the opinion that , until the southern Nigeria produces at least 50% of what it consumes , we will always have problems. Locally grown food are relatively cheap in the north . The killer herdsmen are using the idea of killing farmers to starve the nation , since you don't want to give us grazing routes , you sef will not use the land. Qnd again middlemen are not helping matters And also surprisingly no one is talking about it.. Economists and analysts in the house is there any particular reason for this fast inflation... Is it oil?, naira? Incompetence? Or even corruption? Fulani herdsmen? flood? I am really being sincere with my question!
Ofodirinwa: "You all should be ashamed of yourselves, every one of you for representing a terrorist organization, Government that is killing your people. You are living in a country where the president is a kidnapper, kidnapping and Killing citizens..........."
Sixsigmahub: University of Benin (UNIBEN) Female Graduate probed by the school authorities for Examination malpractice ordered to rewrite all exams from 200 Level.
UNIBEN began investigating all the results of female student who wore ” Aggressive Malpractice” shirt during her sign out parade.
Earlier last week, the management of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) ordered that all the results of the student be investigated after she wore a sign out shirt with the inscription “aggressive malpractice brought me this far” during her signing out parade.
This came after a video of the said student identifies as Peace Ufuoma, from the department of Microbiology, went viral a few days ago.
The institution made a statement two weeks ago on the Thursday, that the decision to probe the student in question’s results was taken at a meeting that held on the 13th of July.
A news reaching Siggy correspondent as of today says that the female student in question has been ordered to rewrite all her papers from her Level two till the end of Level four. This sounds very heartbreaking but the school management is of the opinion that Peace Ufuoma be used as a scape goat to tell every student of the University of Benin that examination malpractices are not allowed within her walls.
NwaNimo1: A syndicate of Nigerian unemployment fraudsters has been busted by the FBI and other law enforcement agencies in the United States, court documents seen by Peoples Gazette said.
The suspects, identified in court filings as Quazeem Owolabi Adeyinka, Ayodeji Jonathan Sangode and Olamide Yusuf Bakare, were broken up last week, with authorities saying they stole over $2.6 million in bogus unemployment insurance claims.
The suspected Internet crooks used an address in Hyattsville, Maryland, to rake in about $1.4 million in unemployment benefits from California, Arizona, Maryland and North Carolina. At least $1.2 million of the theft was received from California’s Employment Development Department alone, according to court records seen by The Gazette.
They filed about 200 unemployment claims with California’s EDD using a single address on 75th Avenue in Hyattsville, and the department was deceived into approving 97 of the claims, according to a complaint filed by John C. Collins, a special agent with the U.S. Department of Labor. Mr Collins said the ring was jointly investigated by the FBI, Department of Labor’s Office of Inspector General and state law enforcement authorities.
“Based on the size of the apartment, the investigation has concluded that a high number of UI applications associated with this address is unreasonable, and thus an indicator of fraudulent activity. “(Bank of America) records show that 142 UI claim profiles using the 75th Avenue apartment address issued a total of 175 prepaid cards from the states of Arizona, California, Maryland, and North Carolina,” Mr Collins said in the complaint filed in California.
There were several attempts to claim bogus unemployment insurance using the same address from Hawaii, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Texas, Washington and West Virginia, court records say.
The suspects filed claims that they had lost jobs as an accountant, dance therapist, computer consultant, librarian or other occupations, and used untraceable IP addresses, the complaint said.
Federal authorities said they observed that international scammers and con artists were taking advantage of the high volume of COVID-19 cheques being sent out to cushion the effect of the pandemic amongst Americans.
It was not immediately clear whether or not the suspects had contacted their lawyers. The development marked the latest in an increasing spate of arrests being made by U.S. authorities over fictitious unemployment claims and other fraudulent activities linked to Nigerians.
In May, the FBI held Bidemi Rufai, an appointee of Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State while trying to fly to Nigeria out of New York. He has since been remanded in prison.
In July last year, Ramon Abbas, widely known as Hushpuppi, was arrested in Dubai and extradited to the U.S. to answer years of Internet fraud activities targeted at Americans. He has also remained in custody.
In 2019, Nigerian businessmen Obinwanne Okeke of Invictus Group and Allen Onyema of Air Peace Limited were indicted on charges of multimillion-dollar fraud. Mr Okeke has since been convicted and sentenced to prison; while Mr Onyema’s case has been pending before a federal court in Atlanta, Georgia.

beardedboy: Today I was driving in Lagos and suddenly I saw the car in front of me make a U-turn. I didn't take it serious then the car in front of me signalled to me to make a U-turn.
Before I could make a U-turn this towing vehicle was already in front of me. As I turned, the next thing I saw is the towing vehicle reversing straight towards my car at high speed. The speed was high enough to crush my car and and even give me and my passenger serious injury.
Thank God, I managed to dodge the towing vehicle.
Firstly, there was nothing to indicate that it's a one-way.
Secondly, this car could have injured me or perhaps killed me and even gotten away with it.
Thirdly, it wasn't even on a highway or expressway. It was on a local street, why put people's lives at risk in enforcing a "crime" that doesn't put people's lives at risk?
Now, I'm wondering:
1. How does the Lagos State Government justify this act?
2. Is this how the Lagos state government impounded all those cars they show on the news?
That's why Lagos has many crazy people. I had a very nasty confrontation with them at beggar , I use a diesel car but that day my car cut gas, so I came out open the engin to fix it , na so I see this towing van o. Before I knew it , one had jumped in the car, in the driver's seat. Na so I change am o I told them tha if they do any rubbish I would cause an accident right there. I told them that nobody will tow my car out of there. I started the car and left. They are all on illegal.
Adeboyes approval rating drastically dropped , when TB died. But anyways, the deed of everyone will go with them in death Whether TB was a man of God or not, all I know is the man's love for humanity wasn't deceptive.
