Crime / Re: Lagos Agency Seeks Help Finding Woman Smoking Shisha On Baby (pics) by colestephan86: 9:04am On Mar 11
GistMedia0:
The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) has launched a search for a young woman after a disturbing video surfaced on social media showing her smoking shisha and blowing smoke onto her infant child. The video has sparked outrage and concern among citizens and authorities alike.

The DSVA has condemned the act as a clear case of child endangerment and abuse, emphasizing the dangerous health implications of exposing a child to such toxic substances.

Story.
Not the best practice though.

However, Gen Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), remains the undisputed champion🏆when it comes to blatant nepotism and ethnic bigotry in appointments into public office.
I dey mind them?
Let's see the cabinet of GEJ ibos dominated, buhari. Came he put his people, now Tinubu come u want make he abandon his own people?

Family / Re: Why So Much Hatred Between Step Siblings? by colestephan86: 1:38pm On Mar 01
Darlingme:
There's a lady cleaner in my office, who recently lost his eldest brother. They live in the same city, where she has no meaningful job, no accomodations, but his big brother is a multi millionaire. Who can fix her up in a jiffy, but according to the story, he wouldn't because they're step siblings and past record from her mom towards his mom, wouldn't let him help any of his step siblings.
My questions are:
Why is there too much hatred among step siblings?
Isn't your father the root cause of your hurt?
Why do you easily forgive your father, but can't do the same to his children?
Why do we inherit enemies from our parents and don't want to let go?
Why do men still choose to have children from different women knowing that their children might not love each other and might even give him much trauma in old age due to bitterness and hatred for each other?
Is it same in other part of the world?
What is your general opinion on a polygamous family?
Greed is the number one cause of hatred among step siblings, if a man is very wealthy and has many children from different wives, once greed sets in , forget it

Car Talk / Re: My Neighbour Jacked Up My Car by colestephan86: 9:00pm On Feb 16
GeneralJB:
As far as this case is concerned, agreement has been done, payment fully received, deal closed.
You had a rethink after receiving the final payment. What if he sold some valuable stuffs too or took loan to get the payment done.
I think you have two options here, pay him back with interest or hand over his car key to him and count your loss.
Medulaoblongata dey your head.
Car Talk / Re: My Neighbour Jacked Up My Car by colestephan86: 8:54pm On Feb 16
Missowombo:
Dear Family landers. I am here to seek your advice on how to rescue my car from my neighbour.

I bought a car, direct from abroad, a very clean and sweet ride, and registered in September, 2023 (5months ago). However, due to the high fuel consumption( V6, 3.5l engine) and the ever unstable fuel price today, I decided to put it up for sale to get a smaller engine capacity. A neighbour expressed interest in buying the car and decided to pay in installment which I agreed. I was also searching for a replacement at this time hoping to use the money realized from the sales to get my preferred ride. My preferred ride prices were shockingly high such that even if I doubled the price I gave to my neighbour it will still not be enough to buy the new ride. Prices rise by the hour these days in Nigeria and I have no hand in this crisis. I returned to my neighbour to inform him that I will not be selling the car anymore due to the present crises in prices of goods in the country. I apologized profusely for every inconvenience and transferred his money back to him. He got angry and said that I must submit the car key and documents to him. He even threatened to send his community and area boys to beat me up and extract the above items.

I came back from work to see my car jacked up, surrounded by 2 other vehicles to prevent the car's exit. For the records, there is no written or signed agreement between him and I concerning this sale. I refunded all his money 1 day after he paid his last installment and kept back my car. I have no hand in Nigeria's current problems. I am pushed to use force here but I am thinking that some initial peaceful resolution could be an option.
Never do any verbal agreement most especially when money is involved.
He go win u in this case, he said he will pay instalment ally, which he did, now u refunded him his money a day after he paid the last installment, u sef u go accept that?
For relationships sakes, plead with him to add some more money to the money for u, if he doesn't move on, you learn everyday.
