PoliticsRe: General Ihejirika: A Loony Biafra Fanatic Or Just Deadly Corrupt? – Dr. Peregrin by Collynzo16: 12:05pm On Sep 02, 2014
Obiagelli: maybe you should take up farming too, should i also call you an illiterate for not knowing what farming is about because you are making ignorant statements too. i am not talking backyard farming here, the people also sleep in the bush for months, they affected by far more severe weather conditions. Do you know the distance they go to channel water around mountains and rocky terrains to their farms, talk less of harvesting and transportation

Anyways i appreciate your education but my point still remains, no one is a parasite here, if you are looking for parasites, point your fingers to the political elites on both sides, THEY ARE THE REAL PARASITE.
2 of the companies that usually carry out exploration contracts for where I work are currently in Maiduguri exploring for oil around the Chad basin. They had to comeback down here to recruit Youths to the Jobs for them because the people over there all ran away after less than a month of hard work. These are guys who are supposed to be better used to the desert terrain and weather conditions running away to be replaced by ND youths who though experienced in the job, have never worked in a desert before. That says it all really. That is why the so called minerals abundant in the north aren't being exploited.
As for I agriculture, I have witnessed it first hand in the north and I have also witnessed oil exploration jobs first hand. Farming is like eating bread and tea when compared to the latter.
Oil does not flow in Rivers as you guys make it seem, even those found in rivers and seas are found thousands of feet below, people get drowned looking for it despite all the safety procedures.
PoliticsRe: General Ihejirika: A Loony Biafra Fanatic Or Just Deadly Corrupt? – Dr. Peregrin by Collynzo16: 11:41am On Sep 02, 2014
Obiagelli: And this job is done by southerners alone? I never knew you now farm oil.
Why didn't you attack the person that classified a whole tribe as parasites.

HYPOCRISY.
Yes they are done by Southerners alone, mostly Niger delta Youths and a few Igbos and most of them are paid peanuts for thier efforts.
You made that extremely ignorant statement twice on this thread and I thought I should educate you and others who might be ignorant to this, oil money is not easy at all. Even those working in air-conditioned offices will not say that because they know the suffering that takes place in the fields especially during exploration.
Planting and harvesting is complete child's play when compared to it.
As for the other guy's statement, the 19 states of the north combined contribute far far less to the national coffers than they receive combined, that is the hard truth and that is what ''parasitism'' is.
PoliticsRe: General Ihejirika: A Loony Biafra Fanatic Or Just Deadly Corrupt? – Dr. Peregrin by Collynzo16: 11:24am On Sep 02, 2014
Obiagelli: now address the northerner political class not the region as a whole, like I said earlier, your oil is mere natural resource. Talking human contribution, you still don't measure up to the north, at least Gdp figures are clear enough.

Btw the north has its own natural resources in abundance, waiting.

Other than rice, what other food do you import? Talk about the north not feeding you.
You are a complete illiterate o, do you think oil flows in seas and rivers?
Do you know the amount of hardwork, sweat, risks and hazards involved in oil exploration activities? Do you know the amount of money and hardwork involved in discovering just a single oil well?
Believe me, farming is like eating rice and chicken when compared to oil exploration.
Do you know that Niger delta youths trek tens of kilometeres with cables, geophones and sometimes batteries strapped on their bodies in mostly swampy environments just to carry out jobs involved in looking for the oil you fools like to write-off as ''mere natural resource'', ''God given'' etc? Do you know that the are exposed to snakes, leeches and other wild animals while doing it?
I have been talking about the exploration part alone, when the oil is finally found, do you know what is involved in drilling it? Have you ever operated any type of vibrating machine before?
Be careful so you don't place curses on yourself with your reckless statements, people are trekking in bushes and swamps right now in the name of acquiring seismic data that will be analysed for presence of oil as I type this.

If an igbo man is to chose between Rochas and TA Orji they will go for the later. You know why? Go to Alaba International, Aba, Nnewi, Onitsha or any igbo business center, u will notice their preference for substandard over standard products. Igbo man that will find original product and take it to china and request that the Chinese should reduce the standard for him. Is the same thing with them in everything. Is the same reason why they will not support their own blood with outstanding quality to rule this country but will be at the fore front to be beating the drum of GEJ till 2019 for the clueless.

NwaNimo1: 13 plots of land in Enugu for $80,000 - sounds too good to be true.

Emma - Come clean. Were you trying to acquire land cheaply from a shady adviser in order to make a killing in the future?
Read well $180 000 approximately 30 000 000 Naira, about N 2.3 million per plot.
Not that cheap.

Rijes: Then if you think so hausa is the most stupid, illitrate, Bleep up, animalistic tribe in the world my friend. How can someone who is not from your tribe convince you to start killing your brothers. I wonder how you can convince ibo man to bomb himself. Check it, i was a supporter of buhari, but the moment he use his mouth and say that he will make nigeria ungovernable and start calling boko haram freedom fighter, i start to suspect him.
if ihejirika is supporting boko haram while did the northern boko haram leaders call them freedom fighter and complain of genocide. At the eve of election, they start running from pillar to post looking for who to accuse of being boko haram support. The dog have over grown his owners. Even the usa know the boko haram sponsor. What will happen on january 2015, if goodluck provide all evidence linking Buhari to boko haram that will be the end of apc in nigeria.
If buhari claim to be our future leader, let him start by developing his local govt through helping them start a worthy living, building roads etc i will take him serious. Charity begins at home.

SERIOUSLY....... I HATE HAUSA AND FULANI VERY WELL AND I AM PROUD TO SAY THAT. THEY ARE DOGS WHO CAN BOMB THEMSELF AND OTHERS IF THEY ARE GIVEN N500. EVEN YOU QUOTING ME, NEXT YEAR YOU WILL WEAR A NICE BOMB TO BLOW UP URSELF because BUHARI WILL LOSE.

The man appears to be a petty dictator, from his wife to his deputy governor and now private individuals.
These are just the ones we get to hear of.
Then again how about Rochas who refused to sell land to the guy? I am sure if it were his northern brothers based in Imo that approached him for plots of land, he would have given them free of charge.

I see, u mean when u accuse someone of a crime, the police just say we hear you? And does not even bring the person in for questioning?
Absolutely yes.
You need to give the police some evidence first, they can't just go around arresting people because someone accused them of something.
How many times have Buhari been arrested since he was accused of being Boko haram sponsor?

vedaxcool: Shocking indeed, in saner countries the govt. Would have arrested the accused and commenced intensive investigation, but unfortunately the feds is led by an incompetent ex patron of militants. The fed govt in any country does fear nor retreat from its obligations of protecting its citizens and investigation criminals actions, but in Nigeria the reverse is the case. NA is probably playing porsum hoping all this will go away!
Is saner countries people are not arrested simply because someone opened his mouth to accuse them of something, there has to be some evidence however little, before the accused are brought in for questioning.

Reading the parts in bold, I just wonder whether South East leaders are averse to development.
It is very easy to castigate Igbos who invest away from home without hearing their own side of the story.
Everything should be done to encourage those who choose to invest in the South East rather than frustrating them.
SportsEmmanuel Emenike In Dispute With Enugu Govt Over Land Meant For Football Acad. by Collynzo16(op): 6:29pm On Aug 31, 2014
Nigeria World Cup star Emmanuel Emenike is up in arms with the Enugu State Government over 13 plots of land worth 30 million Naira (about $ 180,000), which he bought to build a sports academy in Enugu.

Soldiers have invaded the property and have prevented any work on it, the Fenerbache star has exclusively told AfricanFootball.com.

A bitter Emenike told only AfricanFootball.com he bought the 13 plots of land after the World Cup in Brazil through a special assistant to the Enugu State Governor Frank Ndubuisi Ugwunweze (a.k.a Ezeumuaga), who handed all documents concerning to the land in Emenike's name to the forward.

He further narrated: "I worked hard to make my money, I know what I pass through on the pitch before I earn my living and it will be unfair if what am hearing about my land in Enugu State was true.

"I visit Enugu whenever I come to Nigeria, my friends stay there as well as some of my family
members. And I am the kind of person who allows for advise. Even before now, I had a dream to own an academy not only in Nigeria but I believe in the saying that "charity begins at home".

“About three, four months ago, I acquired 13 plots of land in Enugu State through the special assistant to Governor Sullivan Chime. And during the time of conversation of the land papers he never told me there was any problem on the land. He gave me all the necessary documents in my name after payment.

"I then directed for work to commence immediately, but the state government has directed soldiers to stop anybody from working there.

He added: "I don't want to believe that this is fraud. I am ready to fight it all.

“I am not a politician and I see no reason why my money will be held by the government house."

"I have called some top government officials in Enugu, but all of them are not trying to be sincere.
They could not help because the order came from the Governor.

"Nobody is trying to be sincere and as a matter of fact, I want my money back. I am very depressed that there is no confidence in investing in my country. I just don't understand the pranks.

"Right from time, I don't like going through government for anything. I prefer to do it with my money and I see no reason why my property will be held back by government."

Emenike told AfricanFootball.com he had tried to get land in Imo State, but the government refused him and so he opted to do it elsewhere. "People go to government to get free land, but I will not do that because there is no sincerity in most of the things we do. And I will not be here and somebody takes my money, it will never happen,” he disclosed.

"I just want to believe that His Excellency Governor Chime was not aware of the purchase of the land, in that case, I will like to have my money back."

Some people value money so much that they go any length just to get it including Stealing, Baby factory, drug traficking, rituality, fraud and deception among other vices. This is a serious issue that need to be condemned and there should be reorientation especially in the SE on the values of life.
You are quoting a northerner and talking about reorientating the South East people on the values of life? What an Irony.
No set of people value human life more than Igbos in this country.
If you want to be tribalistic, come out openly and be so.
