I am very proud of the achievements of Lagos. That city would easily rival Hong Kong and Taiwan. Despite all the shortcoming, the indomitable spirit of Aba residents are everywhere to be seen and even appreciated.
Aba, like all great Nigerian cities will rise again, when they are able to elect responsible leaders of their people. It will happen one day!

Is it the National or state government that is preventing the people of Aba from dumping their wastes properly? An average ABA man will not mind living or doing business in the middle of filth as long as he makes money from it. Some even boast of how they make millions from doing business in a dirty and filthy environment while those who work in air conditioned offices do not even make half as much.
No matter how good the intention of the next governor is, he will have a lot of work to do in the area of sensitizing Aba people on the need to keep their environment clean, Ohakim's massive clean and green initiative in Owerri comes to mind. The next governor while spending billions on the reconstruction of roads amd management of wastes, will need to spend millions orientating Aba people on the importance of keeping their environment clean.

Your baba is not in any position to speak about a Government having ruled Nigeria for 12 years and failed woefully. As long as people like him continue to have a voice and is get worshipped by people like you, it will be difficult for Nigeria to move forward. I don't give the telecommunications credence to OBJ but DSTV and the telecommunication industry are two far apart different technologies with the telecommunication being of vital use to majority. Signing a deal ain't easy as you saying tho.... Why hasn't Jonathan signed documents on our refineries.... Why is the PIB being delayed. Baba could as well delayed the telecommunication companies.the konga you are saying are business that do not need the presidents approval in any way.

There is absolutely no nig deal in signing contracts, he did that and got millions of dollars in license fees paid to him as a result. Your ''baba'' actually delayed the Telecoms companies for nothing other than selfish reasons, that is why Ghana, Benin republic and even war torn liberia got them before us. Why didn't your baba sign the contract for refineries? It actually requires much bigger investments than telecom companies and it isn't a revolution sweeping through countries like GSM in OBJ's era. However, 2 private refineries that I know of are currently being built in GEJ's administration, 0 was built in your baba's tenure.
