Goodmorning everyone. I am sorry its been a while i came here. Janauary has been very engaging with class work and GA. I am currently studying my MBA at Sulross state university in Texas, this is actually one of the top 20 most affordable yet quality universities in America. I will like to give back to the thread by assisting graduate students who will like to get admitted to my school. There are less than 50 international African students in this school as its dominated by Americans and mexicans. I can also help push for a GA position with the help of the Lord.

but western Illinois university don't accept unofficial copy of the undergraduate transcript for admission review safe from WES or ETX-NG. I'm just surprised by you saying unofficial copy is accepted.

Hello house.. abeg I need help o pls.
I applied to western illinois university, submitted everything required safe my transcript. They are asking for an official copy from my school, ASUU is on strike have told them, and have equally asked them to accept the official notarized/scan copy with me for the admission review but they won't agree to that. Please I need advise what should I do, an I don't want to miss out of the spring 2018 admission.

Would it be advisable applying to a college instead of a university , won't that be a RED FLAG during visa interview?

Am surprised as to some universities in the US not demanding for application fee. Would it be right to conclude that they are low ranked universities or is a measure put in place to attract students?

I don't what it is you mean but.. Basically when people celebrate "No Document Asked" it means the interview wasn't as tasking as expected. Most times very short. Go to the embassy with every document you think would be necessary to prove you as a genuine Student. People go with Huge files . Anything that can prove your point, please go with it. Also Anyone can sponsor you, Just be ready to Convince the VO why such a person is sponsoring you.

I wonder why people go to visa interview and kept celebrating it no documents Is asked, is it that they go with fake documents or no documents at all?

Secondly, my elder sister is sponsoring me but she don't have enough cash flow if am to use her SOA, so am planning on using my uncle's SOA and also stating him as my sponsor, please hope this won't be a RED FLAG as I don't want to go there with forged SOA as some do I guess. Also scared of VOs doubting the possibility of your uncle spending such huge amount on you an do deny people because of that.

Someone posted that his cgpa of 3.12/5 was upgraded by WES to 3.02/4. Abeg how is that possible, am confused with the upgrade abi boast his GPA got.

I already wrote GRE and TOEFL, got v.145 Q.139. AWA 3.0. TOEFL 75. Was planing on writing another of these test when I was later told by the WIU admission officer that I don't need GRE and that my TOEFL score is adequate as they were demanding 73. So that made me relax. Please be reminded that I took those exam last year May and September respectively and this schools I said I applied to have done that since last year, am reactivating my application.

Hello to everyone. Have been a silent follower for over a year now, went off for a while when I was considering changing the country I wnt to pursue my masters from USA to TURKEY, but even with the admissions given by turkey universities my family has been adamant that it's either USA or never so am faced with my fears and am ready to just face it with the help of GOD and. Nairalanders cos have heard and read a lot about u guys.

Please here are my fears, I applied to some US schools Western Illinois University, Central Michigan University and ETSU, but am just to fascinated to WIU because of a Professor have been in contact with, but the problem is I have a cgpa of 3.19/5.0 and that is the only area am lacking in my program requirements for admission and he told me with my GPA I will be given admission on CONDITION. The status alone is making me unsettled and will that not affect my VISA interview as have been always scared of the interview part right from time and the fear of denial made me opted for turkey in the first place.

Please help a JJC who needs to be put through and please pardon my long note.

What about if you make use of a ties with a professor in your department which you want to join in his research, am not sure too though but I think from what have read so far on the trend it works. Nice if the gurus in the house throw more light

Is as if getting jobs in North Cyprus is really difficult based on the scant reply my question above is getting. A friend of mine in CIU once told me that "it our money they need, they are using our money to develop the island". Abeg this things na true? And again o, which one be FORM A.

Please I need real advice, don't wonna regret my decision later. Schools like uni of Nicosia, EMU, NEU have given me admission but I have some questions which I need clarification from those who are experienced in the house.

Out of all those schools I prefer NEU becos it relatively low in aspect of fees compare to the rest I think. My master course will take me approximately 4000 euros 350 for each course (7 courses) and 1000euros for thesis. Aside accommodation which have not included.

Am preparing 1.5 million (#) for coming over and hoping that after have settled some bills here, pay part of the tuition fees and accommodation including travel costs when I get there I will work and settle the other bills subsequently.

Now my question is can I get jobs around when I get there to settle these bills which I would not want to call home for help. my family prefer USA because they believe life there is better and one could get jobs around to fed for himself and settle bill, but for now am just too made up for turkey can't wait another whole year doing nothing safe processing another admission in USA university.

Please I just want to confirm something and I need someone to help me out.
All the applications have made to universities in north Cyprus was all processed by me, NEU gave me admission, METU denied me, while am still waiting for EMU & CIU. when NEU gave me admission it was stated SPRING 2017 though I applied for FALL 2017, I later replied the email which Carry's my conditional acceptance letter that I was not ready for spring 2017 and that the admission should be deferred to fall 2017 and it was deferred.
Now my fear is this, this admission of a thing works out too easily and it getting me scared because I don't want to pay the first installment and later found out it scam. PLEASE HELP A BROTHER. thanks.

All I know is that you don't have to pay the fees all at once, since it a two years program you will pay some for the first year and the other the second year

Please I need some advise, I applied to NEU, EMU, METU, CIU for my masters program in 2017 fall, NEU gave me admission and I got my CAL with a 25% scholarship, though I was expecting 50% but they told me since it was a private school they only offer 25% scholarship. Am waiting for the others to see the scholarship they will offer me. Please would it be advisable to go for any of the remaining universities if they offer me 50% or I should still go ahead with the 25% NEU is offering me? Thanks.
