Congratulations on your baby. Please did you bathe him in the African way with palm oil when you got home from the hospital? Also how often (and how did you manage the bathing) do you bathe him considering his circumcision and belly button?

I use veet hair removal cream. So I just apply it all through 10 minutes before bath and I wipe off the hair residue with tissue then bath.

Can you explain in detail how to get this type of consistency with my egg? Even when I chop the pepper and fry a bit before adding the egg the end product looks flat and not like this.

My mum

. I was the one with her when she breathed her last in the midnight and I had to stay with her because it was too late for any other family to journey down to us.

And I wasn't scared which was quite surprising for someone like me that grew up scared of shadows and imaginary ghosts up till my adulthood.

When i was younger i wouldn't go in to sleep and would rather doze sitting up till everyone was done gisting on the verandah late in the night and when I was older I wouldn't sleep with the lights off.

What always amazed me about that night was that she was still warm when I suddenly woke up from a sudden waft of cold but she had already passed on. But by day she was already cold, stiff and heavy.

I even had to quickly cut and sew the white clothes she was buried in myself, help wash her and clothe her for the jannazah. I kept wondering if that was the same person i knew all my life lieing so cold and immobile. Till today I can't stand the smell of lux soap because she was bathed with it and a sick sweetly smell permeated the air during and after. I wasn't even if the smell was from the lux, from the dead body or just a mixture of the two.

I use the free version and it works fine.

I've paid for the cheap paid version but they always block it. Not once but three times.

So use the free one.

You can combine it with free online plaigiarism checker. (Although I use the paid version)

Free grammarly is good and they won't block it.

Save yourself the stress.

I can't end a day without watching either American dad or Family guy. Though I prefer Family guy these days to American guy.

It's not your friend but my friend cos I warned her before travelling having been there but she didn't listen. She was busy converting the money into dollars forgetting that she's not gonna spend naira there. Mind you those even earning 200,000 in the same company with her in Nigeria are doing better here. Some are already building their house. It depend on how prudent you are. I know most of you kid on nairaland believed life over there is better than Africa, I feel una pain cos most of you still live under the roof of your parents and haven't seen the other world.

See it is either your friend has been lieing to you to avoid sending you money or you are just jealous of her relocation and sharing misinformation to cast her.

I personally know someone that left a 500,000 naira job her in Nigeria to apply as a student receiving less than 2000 dollar stipend in the USA. And she is doing well, sponsors her younger brother and caters for her mom accommodation and feeding solely.

So you can imagine someone making 5000 dollar and you are saying they can't even make calls to Nigeria! WTF!

Nice to be here.

I am 5 weeks gone and I am a first-time mum.

I already made plenty mouth for hubby beforehand that I will be bouncy all through my pregnancy.

But for the last 3 days now the weakness and lack of appetite no be here.

Even though I am a stay-at-home wife, I have some daily tasks I do.

I really appreciate and commend moms-to-be that have to wake up every morning for work and preggo mums with kids to handle. You guys are super-moms, because right now I am still on my bed and I can't see what can make me stand up.

Please what are your best tips to combat this fatigue?
