try that also go to device manager click on bar3 driver uninstalled all. Close it and restart your p.c

I've tried it, still not picking up.

I'd try switching battery and charger and see what's up.

Hi Gurus,

Please my HP Notebook was plugged in and not charging and I was advised to get a new one .

So my brother got a new replacement battery for me from computer village and sent it down to the state I'm in.

I've inserted the new battery and left it to charge for about 3 hours, but I noticed it was still indicating that it was charging and not full. So I powered on the system and to my disappointment, the battery indicated 'plugged in, charging' but is on 0%. When I remove the power adaptor, the system goes off.

I've tried some DIY troubleshooting tips I got online but nothing is working.

Please, what do you think is going on...and what can I do. The thoughts of sending back the battery to Lagos isn't appealing at all.

Hey, I doubt you're going to get that. Upwork isn't like Fiverr. Think out of the box and give yourself a review. Trust me it isn't that hard, you just have to be smart about it.

Hello,

Has anyone ever tried cash transfers from Upwork on weekends?

I initiated a payment about 30 hours ago and I am yet to get credited. I know the standard wait time should be about 3 days, but I'm so used to the 15 to 20 minutes wait time.

I use GTB by the way.

Hmm. Did you login into your payoneer account and saw the funds there? Sometimes, scammers send you false payment email notification and then ask you to click a link to load funds. Once you click the links, you will be directed to a payoneer replica site and once you type in your password and email, you won't be logged in to the main payoneer site and by then, they would have gotten your main details. Then they use the details to log into your account and transfer your money.

But if you really got free $3000, that's a lot of money o and you need to come and pay tithe to this man of God.

Hehe..Your head is there for this your analysis jare. I've always suspected it must be that kind of scam though. I got the first mail about 3 months ago, then got the last one 2 days ago, but I've always been putting off checking it out proper.

So after that dude's message about getting a debit from his account, I went to click on the link in the mail on my phone but it was redirecting me somewhere else. Then I tried to login to Payoneer proper, but my password wasn't going through (either because I've forgotten or they've taken over it).

I requested for a password reset, but alas the message wasn't delivered to my inbox even after multiple trials. Then I knew awon bros ti takeover.

I lodged a complaint that I couldn't log in to my account. Surprisingly, I got a confirmation of THAT mail in my inbox. Now, I have to wait for 3 business days to get a reply from them.

So, let's put a hold on the tithe for now.

My case is quite the opposite, I do get credit transfers to the payoneer account I opened sometimes ago. I have never used the account. I don't even know if I've ever logged in sef. But I've gotten about 3 or 4 credit notifications in my mail totalling around $3000.

Hi.

Please I downloaded an app on my tab about 4 months ago, and since then, I always get these annoying pop-up ads. Then overtime I noticed my tab suddenly got slow.

Just yesterday, I switched it on to see almost all my apps automatically disabled. And the annoying thing is that all my important apps like Whatsapp, Video, Playstore etc are aso disabled. All that is working now is my contact, message, phone, settings and chrome apps.

I've gone to settings to try enabling them, but the button isn't clickable. Please what Can I do? cry

P.S. I can't even send screenshots as my Gallery is also disabled angry

You know, I kind of agree and also disagree with Grupo's post. The fact Tommieyikes got that mouth-watering gig is actually true, so also is the fact that he is the infamous Forevermore.

Even without him posting his earnings, his choice of moniker just sounds like all his other AKAs he's been using on nairaland. If you've been seeing his old monikers around, you'd be able to get that vibe off this new one.

Now, if there is something people got to know from Forevermore (apart from the fact he's a serial scammer), it is the fact that the dude's proposals are spot on. Fault him as you may, he's good at that.

Atoning blood said Forevermore is associated with the UK account, so he can't be the owner of this US account. I disagree with that also, anybody that can open a UK account can also open a US account. And besides in this kind of situation, people don't have a single account because anything can happen any day. I wouldn't be surprised if he had up to 4 accounts.

I'm just going to list out some more similarities between Forevermore and Tommieyikes.

1. They both outsource large projects with a short deadline.
2. They both are very interested and participate in sports betting on nairaland.
3. They are both quick at dropping insults.
4. They both have a way of carrying the crowd with them till they get busted.
5. They both love to show off and love the attention that comes with it.

However, let's cut him some slack, since he paid off the people he scammed. He has also been outsourcing with his new moniker on nairaland without any ish.

You already got people who are willing to give you the machine without overly drilling you (that is even rare these days on nairaland) and you're still asking for 20k!
How were you even able to type that? If you got someone to give you that cash, I won't be surprised if you'd still come back and ask for cash for some other thing. Some people just don't know when to stop.

You are now attacking the hanty that is advising you and giving you strategies for managing. You already have your machine. Start small with the little customer base you have, save, and expand your business as you wish. DONT expect to be spoon-fed.

Sebi you've heard of the phrase 'humble beginnings'. Your beginning isn't so humble sef after you've gotten someone virtually to give you a whole machine. You are at an advantage, so use it wisely.
