Tell me one Fulani country that made any progress in last 100 years.
What have you done right in Kaduna? sometimes I wonder how things would have been if there was no amalgamation. No entanglements with backward people. In a world where people are developing technologies, every Muslim infested country is fighting religious war. His only achievement is killing Christians in Southern Kaduna, to expand Islam and Fulanise Nigeria, in line with one Ahmedu Bello instructions. |

Cantonese: People like you need to be on this forum rubbing minds with decent people and not some youths who use this forum as an avenue to show how their school fees were wasted.
Just like you commented, Gbajabiamila very likely would have played to the gallery as is the traditional character of our politicians. How would he ever pay the school fees of the children for life. He could get tired someday or even make himself inaccessible to the family as some point.
Already justice is served as the culprit was arrested and would be charged to court for murder. Do not forget the mood of the nation presently regarding the police.
You may wonder what happened to the results of inquiries made in too many cases like this. In Nigeria, the moment that tension easies, the matter is consigned to the dustbin of history.
"Strike the iron while it is hot". These is no better time than now for that family to make their demands. Did you see Gbajabiamila carrying the man's new born baby? I can't agree less. thanks for your kind words. |

Amarisco: I’m in 2 minds. What I consider is that when people are killed due to negligence, error malpractice etc., You don’t hear families of the deceased petitioning for a pay out, but for an enquiry. The payout is done hush hush and somewhat automatically.
And when a civilian is murdered/shot, likewise, you hear the families seeking justice, not money. Settlements are often done off record and out of public domain where possible.
Perhaps the issue is they shouldn’t even need to ask and have felt sidelined/belittled, or maybe even insulted by the original offer which is quite shameful on GBA’s side. He should know the appropriate measures to take.
On the other hand you wonder, is money the answer to grief? Does a recently bereaved person immediate take up a fight for money? Feels a bit uncouth.
It’s already public knowledge so what’s in it for GBA to pay? Not like they will sign any disclosure to prevent his image from tarnishing. And if it’s a case for the FGN, then payouts definitely won’t make a difference.
Just unsure Definitely mks sense to me, I get your position. But I w'll say this, in saner climes you don't request for money bc the person knows what to do, but in Nigeria, Gbajabiamila will play to gallary and leave the family with nothing. secondly is there any other compensation you can suggest but money?? the deceased is a bread winner, so the people he cares for will need to eat, shelter, school, clothes etc. |

Just unsure I understand your position, not petitioning the person means for me, that you believe this individual knows what to do and will eventually do the right. but you and I know that if you let the matter slide, GBA will play to public sympathy, while doing nothing for the family. secondly, on money. how else do you suggest they be compensated?? money is not all, but it's the only option (emphasis on only). The man is a breadwinner for people, so those people have to be taken care of. |

For you eh, when your security operative kills a man, while on duty, howbeit unjustly, and you reach out to the family, then you are being generous abi?? that's slave mentality bro!! its a responsibility/an obligation, not a favour. Not taking anything away from him, Umahi is above your normal Nigerian politician, when it comes to administration and leadership. But his move is entirely his and nothing to do with SE. I only fear his ambition, because only God knows what agreements he has entered before this decision. ( Refer pg 1) But will I want him as a president?? HELL YES!! |

You know, over the years this argument about being Igbo or not has always been around, but it is funny, because that is what Gowon wanted when he divided the regions and created states. Thats is why a man, with an igbo name, speaking Igbo, will say he is from South South. what is South South?? South South is the region created by Gowon. So basically they have no history, Gowon created them. Its like a Yoruba man from kwara saying that he is from the North. A man from Aniocha, Aniocha of all places will say I am from middle belt, I am not Igbo!! if its about language, Yoruba is not the same all over Yoruba land, there are versions. why its only in the East that you guys accept division amongst yourselves baffles me.
