An ailing voter, Bashar Mamman (25) who voted at the same polling unit with President Muhammadu Buhari at Sarkin Yara Ward A, Kofa Baru polling unit (03) in Daura local government area of Katsina state, has died.

Mamman who lives near the polling unit, died around 6:30pm, over four hours after casting his vote, reportedly for Buhari.

Mustapha Abdullahi Ako, a resident said, “Mamman voted shortly before 2.pm and died around 6.30pm. He was complaining of stomach ache and was rushed to the hospital where he died. He was aided to the polling unit on wheelchair.”
And you presented the topic as if he was killed because he voted for Buhari. ..

PoliticsRe: Only A Barbarian Will Support The Killing Of Anyone Over Ballot Box Snatching by comradewanle(m): 7:28am On Feb 20, 2019
gidgiddy:
There's is a reason why much of the West and the international community still think that much of black Africa is a land of savages and barbarians.

Life is the most precious thing on Earth, it is not something that is destroyed over light and transient issues. If a person is to be killed, it must be over serious and weighty issue(s)

But Africans act as if life is something you can throw away and get back any time. Life is cheap and has no value in Africa. A Country with no value for human life is a country heading no where.

Buhari's human rights record is a terrible one. Under his watch, hundreds, if not thousands of unarmed Shittes/IPOB have been killed by the security forces. The only people who care are the affected and the international community. The average Nigerian has no value for human life except his own and that of his family. Buhari has again empowered his security forces to use brutal force on election day against at anyone snatching ballot box. Buhari could have said that anyone caught snatching the ballot box should be arrested and prosecuted. But to encourage brutal force on election day, in front of foreign observers and the electorate can only be done by a man that has lost touch with reality, a barbarian.

Ballot box snatching is terrible, but not terrible enough to kill people. It is not terrible enough to risk the life of the electorate who could be hit by a stray bullet in a crowded polling booth. All civilised people who recognise the sanctity of human life should condemn Buhari for his lack of any sense of the rule of law.
What you don't understand is this ....someone coming to snatch ballot box can't come unarmed, it's just like a thief coming to steal, such person is ready to do anything even killing people in order to achieve his aim. It's even a misconception, doing things at your own risk doesn't alway means death.

PoliticsRe: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Loses All Elections On Saturday by comradewanle(m): 12:58pm On Nov 18, 2018
thegeniusmedia:
Following the release of Toro Federal Constituency (Bauchi) by-election held on Saturday, the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lost out in all the three by-elections conducted nationwide.

PoliticsRe: Osun PDP Candidate Adeleke Didn’t Graduate From U.S. Varsity, As Claimed by comradewanle(m): 4:20pm On Jul 28, 2018
Blue3k2:
Source: https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/278018-osun-pdp-candidate-adeleke-didnt-graduate-from-u-s-varsity-as-claimed.html
Pls let argue this issue logically with no sentiments attached. The question is "what is the minimum requirements to be qualified to be voted for as Governor of a state in Nigeria". To be elected as Governor of a State in Nigeria, one must fulfill the following requirements:
1 He must be a citizen of Nigeria by birth;
2 He must have attained the age of thirty-five years;
3 He must be a member of a political party and that political party must have sponsored him; and
4 He must also be educated to at least the School certificate level or its equivalent.
So in Nigeria, the school certificate level means SSCE or its equivalents. But the main issue now is that, did INEC stimulate the content of the school certificate level?. Okay, let look at this in this way, two students sat for SSCE, one has let assume six credit and the person's own is like that of Adeleke (Osun PDP candidate ). As we all know in Nigeria that one stands a better chance than the other when it comes to admission into the Nigeria universities. But one fact remains that, because the other person's certificate can't be used for admission into the Nigeria universities doesn't mean it is not a certificate just that the capacity it (result) can serve is limited. Now, since INEC doesn't specify the content of the certificate ( like 6 credits or whatever ), the certificate can be used as a requirement to be elected as governor.
My main reason for this argument is that....why did INEC not reject the certificate and why also has INEC always silent whenever issue(s) like this comes up?. Is it that political parties in Nigeria do not know about this?. To me since INEC has always be silent whenever we have issue(s) like this, it means that INEC just wants the candidate's name to be written on the certificate irrespective of the content of the certificate. please I stand to be corrected but just let your argument be logical.
