A well fed baby is healthier and more intelligent than a baby that you limit to only Exclusive when it's obviously not sufficient for him. Please give the boy food, a hungry child cannot be intelligent. Breast first, if it's not adequate top up with formula

My son was mix fed from birth because BM wasn't sufficient for him. He's 2 plus and they call him Prof in school so all that one is story. Just offer and exhaust the BM first before offering formula

I taya my sister! So babies that lost their mom at birth are dullards. I wonder where this theory even came from. That's why some babies will just be crying not knowing it's hunger all in the name of exclusive.

Our little boy is 3 months, we had initially intended to do a six month exclusive breastfeeding however the mother would start exams on Monday and can't be taking him to school. Please what sort of food do we start him with? Can he take formular and which is ideal? Also, does homemade food make sense at his age?

No homemade food for now till 6 months. For now, it's only breast milk and formula.
All the infant formula is ideal, let your choice be based on your pocket.

Today is my Daughter's 4th birthday, but I'm not happy because she's been sick and has emaciated a whole lot....(please say a prayer for her..)

3 weeks ago whem this feverish condition started, we started self medication on her( I. E)
Gave her a malaria drug and also cefuroxime (antibiotics) on her, we saw it had no effect on her, then we used another anti - malaria thinking the previous one wasn't effective,after completing her dosage, we taught she was feeling better cos for 5 days she was no longer experiencing fever, general body weakness etc, only for it to resurface on the 6th day, we would have taken her to the hospital but there is presently nothing on us, please what other home remedies can we use on her because I believe there is presently on this forum who has had this kind of experience...

It's well sis, try and take her to a government hospital, their service is a bit cheaper. Let them run a test on her and give u prescription rather than self medicating. The little you have been spending on self medication can take care of her test.
God will lay His healing hands on her.

I just thank God it was not my face. I for don become ojuju Calabar by now.

Thank God it didn't pour on your leg, it's not d end of the world o my sister, something similar happened to me last 2 weeks, and it from pressure pot, the whole thing exploded on my back and arm, for good 3 days the spot was hurting like fire. I understand you, but you must also know that some people dont have the patience of haggling price, especially since its online. I have seen people's wares here been purchased on time at the original price it was advertised for. There is nothing like Nigerian factor, bro. Fix a reasonable price( the best price you'd want to sell it for), if the product is worth the price, your buyer will locate you. And please, find time to clean and disinfect that fridge properly. Its enough problem that the compressor is bad, the buyer shouldnt have to deal with dirt and germs.

Please, my daughter has been itching her hair for some days. I just got to find out she has hair lice and it has been transferred to her brother. Her hair is neatly cared for so I wonder how she got in contact with this.
I was advised to use insecticide on her hair or use relaxer since it's a virgin hair.

So I pulled down her pants to bath her and lo I saw blood stains, Lord!!! my heart sank as so many things were running through my mind at the sight. I asked who injured her and she said nobody. Ah! I immediately asked her to lie down so I can check and I saw the shock of my life!
I saw several finger injuries all around the labia of the vjay with fresh blood like it just happened. I started questionning but she refused to speak I begged and compelled but she was just staring at me like a dumb

I snapped the site and took the blood stained pants and went to show my Landlady she was shocked as well saying this is the first time she is seeing this kind of case physically and that she has only been hearing from afar

We took her straight to children emergency clinic and on examining her the nurses confirmed she was assaulted. But thank God her hymen isn't broken. They recommended drugs, wrote a report and assured to support us to get the culprit

And finally yesterday my daughter confessed my Landlady's 7 years old daughter and my next door neighbour's 6 years old daughter as the culprits
She said herself(my daughter) and my landladys 3 ys old daughter wanted to pee so they told my Landladys 7 ys old daughter who accompanied them to the school toilet and that she touched her vjay in the toilet

Both parents are shattered, according to them they have never discovered such happening in their homes before now and immediately got a nurse to examine the girls. And on examination their vjay hasn't been tampered with so how come my daughter insisting they are the ones



We will surely get to the root of this!!!

Just go to any govt hospital, tell them to direct you to their immunisation centre, National population Commission agents are always there to issue birth certificate to babies and it very cheap. My son got his own from FMC keffi @100 naira, his sister got her own from EKSUTH, Ado-Ekiti @200 naira.
