I just bought the panda paracetamol syrup and the recommended dosage starts at 3 months-1 year. Is there another one I should have bought cuz my baby is six weeks old.

Yes, its panda drop and not syrup! For newborn. Seems that one is 0.4ml per dose.

Please maamas has any body ever treated malaria while breastfeeding? How did you treat it? I have been having symptoms of malaria since yesterday, last night I couldn't sleep cos of intense cold,headache and high temp. I had to use 2blankets..the cold subsided this morning but now its coming on and off..Dh bought amatern malaria drug this morning but on reading the paper inside, it stated not recommended for pregnant and lactating mum.. so I just took pcm.. Am so down right now just managing to type... tnx

Good morning mamas,last sunday was our birthday just like yesterday one yr is gone. Gaily0.4 thanks for the wishes just out of hospital,I noticed his breathing was fast(counted 65beats in a minute) I pick race to hosp,Dr said its tronsilitis(don't know if spelling is correct)/chest infection. We are back now and he is responding. May God protect our children.

children shoe: there's 95k 85k and 58k and children mix cloths there is 200k, 185k, and 155k. All cloths are 80kg while shoe are 45kg

Its normal o, She will outgrow it. These babies are just adjusting to life after spending 9 months in the womb. Even as an adult, when u hear a strange noise or sound sometimes, you will be somehow shocked, talkless of a newborn/babies. To me its normal. Even when they released a sound fart, they are scared.

During my boy's omugwo, my mil even said its giri (high fever), that she will be rubbing one local oil on him and even said that, had it been she knew I was preggy, she would have sent the oil to me for drinking. I told her that she should not rub anything on my baby and that God knows I won't drink any concoction in pregnancy even after pregnancy. Another one was that she will give me herb to give him for drinking, so that he will be light and not heavy. Na yes ma I tell am, She has not seen me since then, almost 2years now.

Reason for my long epistle is that, I dont understand all these our mothers mentality concerning babies. Imagine the idea of ur friend's mum. God knows that I won't take that cos its just a stage. The worst, let her take her for checkup, period!

I guess is de quervain, it is a tendon issues and not vein. why is all the therapy not working for me.

I still advice u keep supporting it with bandage to avoid pressure but don't make it tight. God will touch it, don't worry.

I guess urs could be carpal tunnel syndrome. was it the whole wrist that was affected? if yes it is not DQ.
without anyone advise hv been using d bandage support and no improvement.
I normally do cold compression with ice pack on it and afterwards I apply zetgel analgesics cream

when we did that wit no out come I switched to hot compress and nothing. it was just as if dos were d aggravating factor.

It was CTS during the pregnancy, but disappeared on its own 2 months after I gave birth, only to reappear on my second hand 3 months after, I have forgotten the name if it appears after giving birth. Even with the bandage on, I still have the pain then, but it served as a support for carrying my baby then, and the boy weight was something else. Also, I applied diclofenac gel before wrapping the bandage. And the wrapping was not a tight one.

It was not the whole wrist, should I say wrist ankle ( don't know how to put it). It was the vein that connects to the thumb.

If you ask me I gat plenty story to tell on it.
Have took. shot of injection and it stopped for like 4 months. To tie wrapper when I want to back ds na war.to. breast feed na war.

I was told the incision is the permanent cure for it by three doctor hv seen.
Maybe I will go for it on Monday.

Sorry, for the pain. The pain is always something else, not that bearable.

Was it prescribed? if no, I don't see any reason why you give him/her any supplement. In as much as the baby is feeding well and u don't play with ur diet, no need. Though I gave my boy codliver oil at 7 months, it was prescribed for him by an eye consultant cos he was having watery eyes from birth. I stopped after 3 months.

I had it on my right hand wrist when I was pregnant with my boy then, it transferred to the other hand 3 months after giving birth. The pain was so severe that I could hardly carry my baby. I now google the cause and treatment, and it really helped. I make sure I always have bandage on from morning till when next I want to take my bath, I used it even when am going out, this was recommended to support the wrist whenever heavy objects are to be carried. To cut the long story short, the pain disappeared after one month and till now, no traces again. You can try it. The pain is always severe at night when one wants to turn on bed, but the bandage always serves as support to the wrist.

U make me remember when my elder brother was living in all these workers' quarters, his first born then learn pidgin from the neighbours children and there was this particular guy that use to play secular music every now and then. it was a serious bad influence on my niece then and she just started learning how to talk, come and hear correct pidgin English from my niece and she can sing those songs for award, it got worse that we have to restrict her from associating with the kids, we always locked her inside. Before we knew it, she changed. The girl is a big girl now, serving his Father's land.
