Corruption is the bane of our society. Can this be solved? Capital NO Why? It has turned societal. How can this be eliminated? By voting people who are fearless and have track record of apprehending known and untouchable public treasury looters if this can be achieved, people like me and you who already contacted the "egunjemison" disease will lie low. I think that man you see in the photo will do it. I rest my case.

Hi fellow Nairalander,

I found myself registering for CILT UK in order to upgrade my intellectual and living status however I seemed to be at a cross road regarding the questions that might be asked in the exams; the ability tests made available through one of their agent (DLCT) online seem wide and not particular when talking about answers - no direct answers.

In respect to the last statement I want to ask. How does the exam looks like? If there could be assistance from my fellow NLs, it will be a relief - links, websites, books please. Thanks.

FamilyRe: Why Do Married Men Run After Young Girls? by Concept(m): 3:07pm On Apr 03, 2011
I will start like this:

What goes around comes around. There was a guy who studied in one of the tertiary institution in Nigeria, He had this beautiful lady he wanted to make his wife. They were dating, the guy being from a very humble background has nothing to entice other ladies but at the other side the intended wife i.e his girlfriend did not have money however the beauty of lady will always attract prospective admirers to her.

The lady had some admirers and secretly slept with some who were her benefactors. These activities were suspected by the boyfriend but anytime such issues were raised, the lady would even swore to God to strike her dead if something of such has ever happened. This is the kind of scenario guys face when dating in higher institution and they end up marrying these ladies. Please ladies in the house. I want you to crucify me. How many of you can boast of being faithful to your partner 100% during courtship?

The guy got married, had a good job, then the spirit that hunted his wife when at school is now hunting the ladies around him, they sought his attention and  men (90%) being what they are, whether in Tokyo, America, Europe or our polygamy Africa will never allow such opportunity to slip through. However, the madam on the other hand is now relaxed, the man has finally become her own. She is careless about his requests; food, sex and views on family management.

The man is now obsessed with things outside the house, booze with guys, womanise ;sometimes these ladies treat them so nice especially on food and sex and suddenly that good husband now turned bad at home.

I will impolre the ladies like the wife above to stop the inglorious act then such recycling of event will stop.  E SE PUPO.

AND STOP PRACTISING HYPOCRISY

I like to see others opinion as something we can analyse and make meaningful contributions which should not degenerate to insult. Do you know that in a debate both parties gain? If you are smart enough you take down the opponent's points that are brilliant albeit that do not make them the actual fact. Opinion is a probability.

Please pass your messages with exception of insult. Thank you.

PoliticsLibya: Case Study- Nigeria Civil War (allied Intervention) by Concept(op): 11:51pm On Mar 24, 2011
I see the intervention of the Western world in Libya war as personal, unbalanced and unjustified.

I have a question. Assumming that during Nigeria Civil war, The allied supported Biafran and started dropping bombs on Lagos and other Nigeria sided states. How will you feel? What will be your reaction?
Foreign AffairsRe: Libyan Airforce ''No Longer Exists'' - Allied Commander! by Concept(m): 11:41pm On Mar 24, 2011
The end might have come for Gaddafi but he is a man who knows what he wants. If we have a leader like him; I beg not in the aspect of clinging to power at all cost oh. I mean leader that has relief programme for his people and make the country attractive for outsiders e.g Nigerians to seek to live. Imagine we have one, I believe we will chorus in consensus put 'jara' third term. The alliance is prejudicial, genocide had happened in many African countries but you will never see westerners coming.

It is just a pity, payback time for Gaddafi, reason being that, he is not white's man puppet and he has also committed attrocities against them, remember? Lockerbie plane bombing, and the main reason for the intervention is Oil . The Black Gold itself, our own country's situation in the hands of Black Gold is the least expected, the world powers know its influence on world economy therefore they do not play with it.

Do not blame me but I think this write up is to bid Mr. Gaddafi and his sons farewell. The west that stands as mediator are also a supporter of the rebels. My own interpretation of No fly zone is that no plane should fly over Libya and from the update that has been perfectly effected. The allied now shifted to bombing of the ground forces, meaning what, the rebels will be able to advance. In short Gaddafi is already counting his days.

I have a question. Assumming that during Nigeria Civil war, The allied supported Biafran and started dropping bombs on Lagos and other Nigeria sided states. How will you feel? What will be your reaction?

@ Lakode.

The Westerners!! Our people are yet to discover that they are the problem of the world. Cameron went to Egypt with arms making companies executives immediately Mubarak was ousted. I will not blame them, we blame the numskull leaders of ours that do not know left from right but have become expert in diverting people's treasury for their personal use.

By having visionary leaders, such baseless intervention will not happen. This is a moment opportunity presents itself to strike a long time enemy. I do not have any excitement for Gaddafi's characteristics either.

Foreign AffairsRe: Breaking: Khamis Gaddafi Is Dead by Concept(m): 5:52am On Mar 22, 2011
@ Beeke The rebels; that is what they are called even westerners have not got another vocabulary for it. Libya is divided. Imagining a Yoruba man to be in power and there is an uproar from Ibos and Hausas which resulted in taking up arms. This is called Civil War. He still has some people with him, probably his kinsmen.

Gaddafi's stay in presidential palace is long overdue: Agreed. My argument is that the involvement of world powers is prejudicial. Mind you Libya became a safe haven for Nigerians at a time however with bit of hostilities. If some of the stolen wealth from the citizenry are shared as Gaddafi in this our country; Nigeria, many of us in diaspora do not have any business there.

Two friends were fighting, you came and held the second friend's hand allowing the other to be slapping him repeatedly, your action has shown us where you pitched your tent.

Everybody wants Gaddafi to go, I inclusive but do we need Ghana and Cameroun assistance to eject Mr. Goodluck in the face of uproar. Internal crisis should be left with its identity. Case study: Oddi was overran by OBJ forces. Would it be a place where he has flesh and blood? He will not do that. It happened in Libya and Gaddafi suddenly became a target.

Gaddafi must go. The west will make their money by selling ammunitions to the rebels in exchange for Oil. They will always take the leading role to useless our useless leaders. I dislike Gaddafi, I dislike the western intervention. I see every action loaded with selfish interest however leave them let them settle on their own, this is a civil war.
Foreign AffairsRe: Breaking: Khamis Gaddafi Is Dead by Concept(m): 11:15pm On Mar 21, 2011
I do not support a man killing his own people but my instinct tells me that there are more to this than meet the eyes. The western world meddling into the affairs of Libya is suspicious. In  Burundi, Somalia and Democratic Republic of Congo there was massacre, they never thought of bombardment. Ask me why? Nothing of interest in those places and also the Government in these war torn countries have not for once had issue with the so called world powers and have their way like Gaddafi. Gaddafi is being targeted because of two things; Oil and Personal grief (Lockebrie Plane bombing) fresh in the memory of Americans and British. If truly those people are called rebels, then they are against the state, they need to fight it out but the way I see it, tribal sentiments have set in and the military involvement of UN would not have been so quick and sporadic. They need to observe first and let the world see that Gaddafi has really over-stepped his boundary before they start shelling him. Please Can anyone tell me what is to be achieved by shelling his compound? They want him dead. THE MEDIATORS IN ACTION who disarm one for other to claim more ground. Two wrongs can never make a right but Western world will always be right.

PoliticsRe: Who 'Won' The Lagos Governorship Debate On Channels TV? by Concept(m): 10:48am On Mar 06, 2011
Their ages in term of life span or services are not issues but our concern is the age of their ideas to rule Lagos state. Mr. Fasola remains the best. He spoke eloquently on what he and his party have for Lagosians moreover he has a platform to do so. However, some vital points are raised by the opposition which I think Fashola Government should find a way round it; HOUSING. The involvement of his Government in having people to have roof over their head must be affordable for the masses, something is wrong somewhere on this and it has to be tackled as he rightly said. Eko O ni baje OOO. What we thought will not be possible Fashola has done it in his first term and for sure the second term is inevitable, if you are progressive no matter the anomalies detected in Mr. Fashola's Government it surpasses the combined former PDP controlled states in the west, this in consideration of generated fund available to them and its execution. Please, Fashola is still be best I have seen in my generation to give hope that Nigeria can still be in the same league like western world. A vote for any other persons is against visionary and missionary leadership. E dibo yi ni wutuwutu, Fashola yi o se ekan si. Eko ko ni baje lailai. If their could be Honourary President-Elect Mr. Fashola would have gotten the slot.

The Pastor avoided totally the God sent slogan. I like that. He believes what is about embarking upon is his personal decision. Anybody can be politician, the most open group I have ever known are political parties, they know the more the numbers the less headache in reaching out. Pastor Bakare is a Nigeria citizen, he has every right to contest.

However, what can make me frown is that of him involving in the shady things that go with politics, if that should be the case he cannot deliver. No attempt rigging, No fetish, No Occultism. He has the charisma to hijack some votes to his side.

NIGERIA GO SURVIVE.
