My heart bleeds when I read stuff like this. I was ready to write my piece, up until I saw papabrown's post. Now, if he is right, then there is a situation there. I personally think that, an employer should not pay an employee 25K to bring in 5M. Thats just WRONG. Now, if what they bring in to the bank is actually 25K, then, as one poster rightly stated, don't hire them in the first place.

Its not argument that, take it or leave it, that is absolutely lame, then again, anything goes in Nigerian mentality. When the Oboris and Cecelia are walking with Billions, the young graduate is toiling the streets, thats what we need to change. Please once again, we need to put our lawmakers to work. Nearly everything in Nigeria needs a reform.

Perhaps, if Mr. Keji Ibrahim of Isara, Ogun State, had had an inkling of the calamity that would befall him penultimate Wednesday, he would not have joined his colleagues for an outing at an entertainment corner in the town.
Ibrahim along with others had barely settled at the ‘’joint’’ close to the town’s market when pandemonium broke out.

The confusion arose after some boys loyal to an aspirant to the Remo Federal Constituency seat arrived the beer parlour. Both Ibrahim and his attackers were members of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Already, the former Special Adviser to Governor Gbenga Daniel on Rural Roads and Infrastructure, Otunba Fatai Sowemimo, had shown interest in the seat which is currently occupied by Hon. Dave Salako.

“They had barely arrived the joint when they started hurling abusive language on us, threatening to deal with anyone who dared them. They later splashed larger beer on us.
“Within a twinkle of an eye, they hit me and ran away. We thought they had left, not knowing that they had laid an ambush for us. When they attacked us, they stabbed us with bottles and hit us with sticks.”
It was a bloody day as members of the PDP unleashed terror on each other. Already, five persons including a council official had been arrested by the police for allegedly stabbing three persons. Two other suspects were said to be at large.

The suspects had since been transferred to the police force headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta . The suspects, according to the police had the records of assaulting people.
The suspects, Daily Sun learnt, had in October 2009, attacked the former vice chairman in the council, Hon. Mustapha Musa. Also in December, they publicly assaulted the PDP state financial secretary, Hon. Muyiwa Sodade, who is also from the area.

The suspects were also said to have last January attacked the former chairman of the ACOMORAN in the local government, who is currently the state PRO, Mr. Gbenga Awokoya (a.k.a YARO).
The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Isara, Mr. Bamidele Awoniyi, who confirmed the incident said the matter had been transferred to the force headquarters.

The state police spokesman, Mr. Muyiwa Adejobi, who also confirmed the incident said: “The police is on top of the situation. Those arrested have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for necessary investigations and action.
Adejobi, who urged individuals and groups to embrace peace in the state, also warned that the Police Command would not tolerate any person or groups of persons under any aegis to foment trouble.

Yesterday was a bit interesting. Naeto and Sergio were in Hectors office seeking Hectors help for Naeto. Naeto identified Gayle as the one who shot him but Sergio thinks he is acting funny thus they dont belive him. TrusT Gayle, He tried killing Naeto in his fathers office but Alahandro entered the room on time. Gayle acted so nervous all through the time that Alahandro suspected him but I guess he is still confused. Hector is to take Naeto to the states. Ofcos, Gayle ordered his death. Sure they will fail again.
Ignatio was mad with Gina and look it out on Maria, went to look for Rodrigo and helped him get back to him feet eventhough the paralises is gradually creeping back. No Action on Gina's part yesteday, She seems remorseful, Hope's her change starts there.
Ophelia went to Romina's House in pretence of apologying for what she did but poisened Romina's drink without Romina knowing and Romina drank the stuff.
The last part is that Rodrigo went to cancel his therapy we Elisa cos he of his illness but elisa believs is cos of her relationship with Sergio. Rodrigo insisted so Elisa tried to encourage him that all things are possible as per recovering his health by standing to walk and fell into his arms. Do u know what happened? She started Kissing Him (I wish Sergio did catch her, Me thinks Elisa doesn't deserve Sergio at all) How I wish Liza (the JOurnalist, Diego's Mother were still alife)

As per yesterday'e episaode, Maria is still begging Gina to go for a rehab. Really liked the way Ignacio told her pump and plain how is going to end up if she doesnt go. I think that Gina needs to be told the truth instead of that pampering from Maria. Elisa refused to kiss Rodrigo after he professed his love for her and pleaded with her to walk for him to see which she did and fell into his arms. Hector has always been there for Maria and his children. Tried talking to Elisa about alahandro but she said her decision is good for them. Gayle has become the blocks leader and is still planning seriously on ruining the remains of inmex.
Ophelia visited Romina and queried her over sleeping with her husband and quess what romina said 'yes' I enjoyed that ansa cos it wa stupid of ophelia to ask dat. am suspecting natalia is pregnant for doc. well alahandro tried psyching gayle in their fathers presence but trust gayle, he pushed everything back to him. Alahandro ended up telling Hector he is no traitor but gayle is. I forgot to mention that the block guy who killed that Majors boy (he is now occuping paula's post) called Gayle to inform him they ve found Enesto and Alahandro asked if that wasn't the guy that took over paula's job. Trust gayle, he warned the guy never to call his office again and asked them to kill Enesto.

Why wont they sk for authomatic tickets, afterall this is Nigeria,
You and I are here bordering our heads over nothing.
They are simply confirming the fact that all they have are stolen mandates.
In a country where democracy is said to be practiced and a whole senate president of the nation request for automatic tickets for him and his colleagues on a national television if am right, imagine the impunity.

The right to elect our leaders reside solely on us "the electorates" but hell no, not in Nigeria. The worst insult is their Chairman telling them it will be considered.

A house that has spent more than 50b naira in jos two years and have passed only about 5% of bills on its floor into law.
A house where its future leaders are @ home as a result of strike (Anyway, do they even want future leaders)
A house that collects more than 100k individually for mere lunch while a nigerian graduate is struggling to get a job of 10 to 20k per month. I mean 31 good days and these guys are there representing us? So pathetic.

My constituency house rep used our constitutency project money to build 2 mansions. One in his fathers house and the second in our state capital. He carried out the water project in front of his fathers house and is selling the water to the villagers @ 10naira per 20lit. Even in Cities, A 20lit kegof water goes for N5 but nay, my mom buys it there@ N10.

I really dont feel like talking. Anytime I read about Nigeria and this crop of leadership that we have , I cry for my children because i wonder what the country is gona look like in the next 10 years if things continue like this.

Please help as am in a dilemma.

There is this guy I love so much and we have been friends since 2001. both of us want so much to be together. I mean we love ourselves so much but the problem is am born again but he is not.

Truth is I have tried to overlook that side hoping I will still keep my faith even after marriage but when I prayed about it, I got a no answer from sure. (Dont ask me how but He told me no.) Infact, I told my mum to pray about it since she is more like the prophetess in our house. Again the answer was no.

I didnt have any choice here because i dont want a future that God is not part of so I told him it wasnt gona work. Till date, he is still finding it difficult and keeps calling me and asking for us to get back. Well I know for sure I cant say otherwise because I heard clear from God.

Recently a friend of mine proposed marriage to me. I didnt pray because I dont like him to the point of marriage and so I told him off but he persisted that some pple asked me if I prayed about it. Well I didnt want to pray but I asked my mum who prayed and was told I should go ahead with the new guy.

Please somebody should tell me how am supposed to marry a guy I dont feel anything for. How am supposed to live with him. This guy is not my type @ all, I dont even know much about his christain faith eventhough he attends a good bible Church. Am really dieing inside me, it hurts so much in the heart.

Please someone should tell me what to do. Am not even in a good frame of mind to pray about this as am already angry within me.

Its customary that if the man wants those children as his own, he should pay the bride price which confers to him right of ownership of those children.

No court will give him any right over those children so long as he was not legally married to the woman whether by custom or by law.

The bride price he is paying is not for the dead corpse but for his chidren. If he doesnt do that, he has no right over those kids becuase no matter how long it takes any body can sue him to court and ask for the marriage certificate that gives him legal right of ownership whetter the marriage was customary or by court of law.

there is nothing bizzare about this.
Please if he is responsible enough that he wants his children live under his roof and knows he will cater for them, let him pay the bride price and take his kids.

These are daily experiences of life and I cant understand why pple wont learn,
