ThePundit14: Yes. I have to use someone else's battery to start and it.comes up then I continue with my Battery but if I pack the car without use for another 2 or 3 days, it won't start except.i remove the battery head within the days I didn't use the car You have a simple parasitic drain. It’s a job for a knowledgeable auto electrician to handle. In the meantime you’d have to keep taking off one of your battery heads until the issue is resolved if you know you want to use your battery for long without it packing up sooner than later. |

Kasssandra: That's why we are a participatory democracy. I'm not in government. Ask your government that question .
I also resent you thinking I support corruption and exploitation by government...because I support tolls.
As for me, I think that roads have to be tolled to keep them well maintained because they are not going to stay new forever.
Anyway, other countries toll their roads, and other countries pay taxes. I bet you think that their governments are exploiting them in your opinion.
P.S I am not a fan of corruption, and I don't like this APC government or the PDP governments that precceded it. But if you think that we can run a country on revenue from oil alone...better think again . Fair enough, but let me ask you a direct question . . . Between 1% to a 100% . . . What do you feel would be the probability that the funds realized from the tolling of this bridge would be embezzled? |
Politics › Re: Mass Desertion, Retirement Loom As Military Proposes New Service Scheme by Conner44: 3:51pm On Oct 10, 2022 |
Kasssandra: That's because the government and the people of this country are not realistic. They think they can fund everything from the oil money (they can't).
The fact is, every road should be tolled , including the federal roads in this country (I prolly would exempt LG roads). Pretending that we can keep roads well maintained without tolls is a big mistake...and one reason why we have bad roads. (Note I said one reason, not the only reason).
The 2nd Niger bridge on the other hand, has to be well maintained, and well funded, and the loans have to be paid back..hence the tolls. (I bet that in ten years, some government is going to remove the toll gates as a political gesture). Hmm, so the people who are going to be making use of the second Niger bridge via passing through toll gates must pay a stipulated fee for its maintenance and building cost . . . Isn’t it safe to say that the people instead of the government are the ones building and maintaining the bridge? Why will the government build something for an inflated cost and then task the people being governed to pay for it? Why not build more toll gates along other bad roads and bridges in the country so that other people too can help in offsetting their various maintenance costs? Or are those bridges not in need of maintenance? Why will the government be choosing which to maintain from their purse and which to maintain from the peoples pockets? |

ThePundit14: Boss. Conner44. Great job you're doing on here. More Knowledge to you. Pls I notice if my leave my car for at least 2 days without starting/driving, sometimes the battery struggles to start the engine . Does it mean I need to change battery? Bought the battery a little over a year ago. And I ensure the doors are locked and no light is turned on inside the car. Car is EOD 04. Your advice would be highly appreciated Boss. When you say that the battery sometimes struggles to start the car what do you mean? Will it eventually start the car if you keep trying? Or will you eventually have to go and find another battery to start the car because the former one has died? |
Politics › Re: Mass Desertion, Retirement Loom As Military Proposes New Service Scheme by Conner44: 3:35pm On Oct 10, 2022 |
Kasssandra: Probably for both.
Welcome to the real world.
Many companies and entities including government take loans. And end consumer pays for them in part via paying for servicies.
That's why people pay attention to the loans government takes. In this country and outside this country.
Either you have a well maintained bridge by paying tolls, or you don't. So why is it that all the other roads and bridges that are built in other parts of the country at the same time are not tolled? Or don’t they require maintenance too? |
Politics › Re: Mass Desertion, Retirement Loom As Military Proposes New Service Scheme by Conner44: 3:21pm On Oct 10, 2022 |
Kasssandra: Yeah, because that is what they do in sane climes to raise money to pay maintenance costs.
We have bad roads all over the place because Obasanjo stopped tolling roads 20 years ago. In return for a partial removal of subsidy then. See where it has led us to. Did you inquire if the tolls they want to put on that bridge would be for it’s maintenance or to offset the loans that were taken for it’s construction? |

Lol This one no be problem for the native doctor, it’s like he’s even enjoying their noise. Maybe he has some stubborn Children that don’t like waking up early to perform their chores. If he really wants to get rid of them all he has to do is adorn his full babalawo regalia, paint his face white, tie chicken feathers and cow horns on his head, cut raffia palm frond leaves, dip it into red paint and hold it in between his lips, carry a black calabash in his hands and step out of his house. He will then perform a slow dance while hopping on one leg and turning around 7 times in front of those cele worshippers then slowly start approaching them with his hands lifting the calabash and his mouth mumbling some incoherent jargons They will FLEE and even forget their loud speaker and microphone never to return again |

I intend to drive it myself not full time though. Is it advisable? Is it a good side hustle considering the car is quite different from corolla and the civics. It’s a wonderful alternative. femarse: the car was drinking fuel, so took for scanning and got the below error code p0135 p0138 p1381
i know the first two relate to the 02 sensor, does it mean i should change it or its the wiring? the p1381 ....i dont know if its the alternator that need changing or fixing or the distributor
kindly assist
honda babyboy, 4 plug auto P1381 can either be caused by your distributor or the cylinder position sensor that’s connected along with it. Check the two carefully for which isn’t functioning properly and change. |

Chae: Guru's my 08 civic tensioner just got spoiled and I just fixed it, it doesn't last atal, what's the way out Pls help. There are 2 tensioners in the civic engine, there’s the serpentine belt tensioner and the timing chain tensioner. If it’s the serpentine belt tensioner that is always giving you issues then get a good replacement with the right size of bolts and let the mechanic installing it torque the bolts using the correct specificationsToo tight or too loose and your issues will continue. |

And also there are more Nigerians living in Nigeria making big bucks from YouTube. I don't know why it's hard for you people here to believe, it's common knowledge . My brother . . . that’s Nigerians for you It’s absolutely painful when people shoot down others when they are not too knowledgeable about certain circumstances surrounding a topic in debate. It’s probably why that Bella guy got into deep problems with the EFCC in the first place. How or where can he start explaining to them how monetized his YouTube channel was for him to generate such amounts of money. They just can’t bring themselves to believe it and therefore choose to ridicule you instead of try to understand. but in the end we are all Nigerians and they are your brothers and sisters to live and suffer along with you in the glory of ignorance lol.
