Pearl1910:When working with google’s YouTube you don’t only earn by the views, there are other numerous activities and avenues you can utilize on your YouTube channel that can also generate affiliated income for you. 1. If in your YouTube video, you make use of a particular item/gadget and input a link to a store where your viewers can also purchase such an item you will get paid a fraction of the cost of that product via affiliated links. Many online websites make use of this feature eg. Amazon, Ebay, Aliexpress, etc 2. You can increase the revenue generating potential of your YouTube account by giving Google the permission to in run their own advertisement ms on your videos. Google can input these adverts either at the start, middle, end or in timed sequences within your videos (if they are longer) and you get paid for viewers watching these adverts. If they decide to click on the adverts themselves then your commission increases. 3. Do you know that when someone goes to google.com to search for a video, google fills the first few results with hits from YouTube? If you follow any one of those YouTube links you’d be taken to the YouTube viewing page where you can watch that specific video you clicked on BUT if you scroll below that video as it’s playing you’d find other similar YouTube videos from other authors, clicking on another video after or in the middle of watching that initial one will still generate a fraction of referral income to the original video that dragged you the viewer into YouTube from google.com in the first place? 3. Do you know that a YouTube channel and a YouTube video are two different things? A YouTube video is just a single hit among other hits from different authors while a channel is a total of videos from one single author. Do you know that the more time a viewer spends in a specific authors YouTube channel the higher income the owner of that channel makes from that viewer? 4. Have you heard of something called viewing hours or play time on YouTube? This isn’t concerning video or advert clicks or hits anymore but the actual amount of time that users spend watching your videos on YouTube. The pay for this is different from hits and clicks. I can come to your YouTube video, click on it and it opens and then after watching for 10 seconds I exit and you will still get paid BUT assuming I chose to stay longer and watch that video to the end you will get paid higher for my view. That is why you hear some people brag that they have a total of 5,000 total hours of view time on their channels. This isn’t about hits or clicks anymore but the total amount of time that the play button was being run on their channel and not how many times it was clicked. 5. YouTube is seriously monetized that almost everything you do on it generates money for the owner. Do you know that viewer subscriptions pay the owners? Do you know that simply unmuting the volume pays too? Watching a video to the end and then rewinding it to the beginning or center also pays as well. You might be calculating all these in cents but at the end of the day it multiplies to form your total earnings for the month. 6. Do you know that I can approach a company, brand or individual and make a deal with them to incorporate their products or services into my YouTube channel and they will agree to do so? They won’t pay you directly because google can flag your account for copyright violation so they must involve google in the agreement to monitor your channel and pay you for the use of their branding. They send the paychecks to google and google forwards the paycheck to you after taking their commission. If you read up on YouTubes T&C’s you’d get a general idea of how their monetizing techniques work and you can also find ways to legally incorporate your own external money making techniques into your channel as well. Everything boils down to knowledge and having the right mentorship which anybody can get by knowing who to ask the relevant questions |
Pearl1910:Pearl, there are many ways of learning about a subject you’re not very conversant about but fighting against any information concerning that subject is not one of those ways. Just know the right person to ask questions (where, what, when or how) or get mentorship from a grounded user and you’re half way there. Truly the first step is to buy Canon camera and a stand or one better iPhone 14 pro max and lighting equipment but without knowing what to do next you are highly likely to regret your expenses. I have already understood that you’re a very practical person (aka. Your famous seeing before believing attitude and arguing to the contrary) but mehn . . . sometimes keeping an open mind is far better in the long run. There are many ways people can earn money on YouTube asides from view and clicks but if you don’t know you will never know |
Ekundayo7574:We will take this post as a compliment lol Everybody knows that the 5% tribe have far more beautiful women your own tribe ![]() |
Pearl1910:As I’ve said once before somewhere else on this very thread . . . the only problem I have with Pearl is that if he hasn’t witnessed or experienced something before, HE WILL NEVER AGREE THAT IT IS POSSIBLE ![]() |
Dailyparrot:Have you ever heard of the guy before? You think he won’t be as famous as sabinus is he was into Nigerian Once your google accounts is not set up with Nigerian details google won’t tie your user experience or monetization market to our country’s environmental indices by default except you specifically choose it to do so. His niche is different from what we often see on our tube space here in Nigeria. He has a global niche and his viewership comes from all over the world not even Nigeria. He targets foreign affairs so as to be relevant to those continents outside Africa where the main money comes in from. |
Pearl1910:Wether as a Nigerian oh . . . while living in Nigeria oh . . . What you should realize is that there are always ways around most issues and limitations especially in the information technology space, the young man said he made N200 million totally from YouTube BUT you never asked how long he took to make such an amount and his journey to earning such an amount. You only looked at the total picture and using your own basic knowledge of YouTube decided to judge his hustle, which was wrong. All you needed to possess is the right knowledge and you can be just like him shikena! The same with other willing ehailing drivers joining cheerfulgivers tutorial telegram channel to learn his techniques and know how he is able to make the kind of results he shows here from his hustle. Some people will rather quit driving or return their HP/rental vehicles than join this helpful channel only because of reasons best known to them but yet turn around to be moaning when he starts to post dashboards of up to a million naira in December ![]() It’s simply witchcraft ![]() I’m not supposed to say more than this because I’m spilling so much beans that the enlightened ones usually dish out for a fee hence I’d close my mouth on this YouTube chapter. If anyone likes to believe it’s possible or not then fine, go ahead but remember that the guy was arrested, searched forensically for months, taken to court for years and yet came out a free man (albeit damaged) without any convictionsThink my people . . . Learn to think THE ILLITERATE OF THE 21st CENTURY IS NOT THOSE WHO CAN NOT READ NOR WRITE BUT THOSE WHO CAN NOT UNLEARN AND RELEARN |
This chronic ‘self limitation’ mentality that we as Africans have built into our psyche is one of the reasons why we are always going to remain stagnant in all the affairs of the world (except in corruption and insecurity) A person says he makes money on YouTube, you say because as a Nigerian and our YouTube income is lower than most then he can’t possibly be making such an amount YET you don’t have first hand information about the specific YouTube channel he had that generated such funds for him, it’s niche, it’s subscribers, it’s hits/views, what country it was registered with etc. Do you think people in Nigeria do not own foreign domiciled google accounts? As far back as 15 years ago I created a google account with a google voice number domiciled in the United States market for certain jobs and it works till today . If I’m doing anything with that account google still regards me as an American user and if I decided to monetize they will remunerate my works as an American domiciled account . Even on my palasa iPhone, I registered my apple account as an American and today all my newsletters, App Store recommendations, and payment services are done utilizing the American ecosystem, I pay for my apps in dollars (with gift cards) instead of naira and apple does not care if I’m in Nigeria or not. That’s the exact same concept I’m speaking of here. There are some applications people can download here in Nigeria that I can’t see on my own App Store to download because my phone isn’t tied to the Nigerian/African market inversely there are some apps on my phone that you will search for from now till next year on your own App Store but you will never find because your own market is tied to the Nigerian/African ecosystem. Some people know or heard about this concept above but they could never tie it into this issue of YouTube monetization and how to circumvent the low pay that other countries like Nigeria have been punished with achieving. It’s ignorance sheer, pure and undiluted IGNORANCE and it always turns around to bite you in the as*s at the worst time possible.

aieromon:I think you should go back and familiarize yourself with that young man’s story one more time. Try to comprehend the timelines involved with his trials with the efcc. He had a prior google account which he ran from his undergrad years till when efcc started hounding him. That was the one that paid him. He worked hard on it for years and it only got shut down when efcc began their devilish nosing into his affairs. This particular channel above in your link is the new channel he created after efcc spoilt the main one that he earned from and released him to go running about his court cases against them. As you can see he’s still trying to build it up. Look at the stats of this his new channel, he created it in 2021 (last year) and he already has that much subscription, views and hits. Now what makes you think that if he’s given an additional 5 years to work on this same channel without harassment he can’t multiply his stats and gain some lost ground against what the efcc made him lose with his last destroyed channel? |
easytig:I never intended to say more but I’d still say it “ YOU ARE PAINFULLY IGNORANT “ That Nigeria isn’t allowed to use PayPal to withdraw money does not mean people in Nigeria do not withdraw money from their own PayPal accounts. That google does not allow Nigeria IP address hits to score as much as a foreign one does not mean people in Nigeria can’t own foreign domiciled google accounts and target foreign countries in advertising their content All you need is a foreign address, phone number and bank account to register on the website and BAM you can do anything the American can do with the website/app without restrictions. All you need to do is target the right market. This same idea works with other apps and websites like google and co. Do you think everyone that works/codes on a computer does so locally? You think because I’m sitting down in Lagos and working on YouTube that google must know that I’m in Lagos and conform my entire work to the Nigerian market/viewing space? Ever heard of a tools like a basic Remote Desktop, an ssh client or even a basic vpn? So an American cannot travel down here to Nigeria, open his laptop and work on his YouTube channel because his earnings will take a dip due to his physical address changing? Chai! Nigerians, We live in an information technology age today but ignorant people can never think outside their |
shuri:It’s called a remote start feature that is usually installed in vehicles to be used in very cold climates. It’s for starting and warming up the engine and interior of the car before the owner leaves the house and climbs into it to drive away. You can’t drive the vehicle with the remote. |
CheerfulGiverr:Shhhhh be careful of that guy oh . . . Small thing now him go dey give you him prik to suck ![]() |
735i:lol if what you say about that machine is tru then you’d better join me on the ride oh, if not see my route . . . Lagos —-> Epe —->Lokoja —-> Abuja —-> Sokoto —-> Ogbeni wey my car ooohh ![]() |
735i:WaTF ! Guy CODE IT jor ![]() |
735i:I agree with the bolded above. They are the ones who give the most reviews online concerning that brand. But if yours truly came from America I’d say you’re one lucky sonfabish to have it so pristine and with a history of just one owner. |
mejai:Forget about the noise and radiator etc of this car . . . There’s something seriously wrong with the steering wheel of op’s vehicle ![]() I’m still observing it to pinpoint the exact issue but I know it’s a very dangerous one ![]() I hope it won’t fail him before I crack the exact issue but in the meantime I’d advise op to drive extremely carefully |
735i:If truly your ride was imported with above 200k miles and it’s been simple maintenance ever since for you then you’re luckily among the 10% of bmw high mileage owners who haven’t been touched by the devil within the beast ![]() Even online reviews about bmw from the ones who use them new before shipping to us down here say the exact same story |

1st pic : Chai! See beautiful cluster design and lighting ![]() 2nd pic : kai! What rubbish . . .But seriously Assuming the design was inverted whereby the hideous red type was visible in the daytime and the white was displayed at night I’d give your ride a 90% pass mark ![]() The layout is nice . . . But the light pattern is just meeh ![]() |
zotorux:You can’t just say you hear an extra sound and stop there. How do you want us to understand how this sound is or where it might be coming from Your extra sounds could be any one of kpa Kru Wiwiwi Wowowo Wham Pow Kum Boom Hummmm Woooooo Shhhhhhh Yayayayaya Etc etc ![]() Structure your question properly or you won’t get any help here. We can’t be giving you questionnaire to help you especially if it’s for free There are many places that a sound can emanate from when the ac compressor is engaged in a vehicle |
9icetoo:When it comes to reliability everybody knows that once a bmw crosses 150k miles it has a 90% chance to suddenly become a money pit no matter the amount of careful maintenance the owner has put into it. I’m still waiting for 735i to show me his instrument cluster till now ![]() |
All of you that think a Nigerian can’t make N200,000,000 only on YouTube . . . ARE PAINFULLY IGNORANT it’s so shameful I’m crying on your behalf, but I won’t say more than this. |
Urheadmaster:You mean they have thrown tinubu into the back of bus? |
You urchins think Peter Obi is like tinubu that put all his family members and friends into Lagos political offices abi? You people think Peter Obi is as nepotistic as your agbado champion? Urchins, they can’t live without stealing money from the masses. |
Blackbishop:I’ve already advised pearl that he needs : A white hen that lays black eggs The left testicle of an adolescent housefly The tongue of a mosquito Breast milk from a Leopard And the placenta of a five legged ram If he can’t gather and bring the materials for his sacrifice he should inform us so we can immediately dispatch our spiritual emissaries on his behalf ![]() baba is still waiting for him . . .

I don’t understand . . . Do people actually die when their vehicles break down? ![]() |
Pearl1910:Gard darm it You must have offended the god of oil pumps in your former life Sacrifices have to be performed on your head for cleansing asap ![]() |
Blackbishop:That chain is the exact thing which the bad oil targets which finally destroys the oil pump along with the other things you listed. |
ReadaDream:See bro, I am not ‘hell bent’ on anything, ultimately it’s your vehicle and you can do whatever you want to/with it so far as the resultant effects are to be borne squarely by you (it’s owner), that being said . . . How can you say that because most Nigerians ship in vehicles and then proceed to start driving it from the port to wherever is a normal idea because thousands have been doing it without any issues? Don’t you see that I’m trying to sensitize you that it is an improper practice that needs to stop? Don’t you see that If 90% of people get away with it you could be the unlucky 10% one very good day? It is a bad practice period , wether you believe or not is not my business, I’m just stating a truth which can become bitter in an unfortunate person’s mouth someday. Oil pumps, water pumps etc all have their specific lifetime guaranteed use (if properly maintained) which can be seen via a vin check before purchasing the said vehicle. If you buy a vehicle of 250k miles with the factory oil and water pump of course I’d be getting ready to change those components out asap before cruising unless I am looking to play ‘chicken’ with the vehicle thinking your resolve will be greater than the components affinity to finally give up the ghost. If your timing belt snapped there are certain things that could cause it like oil or water getting in contact with the said belt while it’s in use or it’s being degraded due to not changed when due. Factory timing belts are sturdy and should last the stipulated life guaranteed of it. The only time I’d suspect the timing belt is if it was previously changed but with a non oem part. That will be like playing Russian roulette with your engine. See I’m not fighting anyone here concerning these things were debating on, I’m just telling you what the oyibo’s do to keep their 15 - 20 year old vehicles still going strong enough to be sold and shipped to us here in Nigeria where we then use them for a few months and they begin to eat dust ![]() |
BAZ001:Cheerful is coming for you ![]()

pope191:Forget about knowing the condition, the key part of your question was the bolded. You bought a toks Now this toks came at what mileage? Do you know that certain vehicles and engines have a specific range of mileage in which you can use them freely after which you must have to perform some manufacturer stipulated maintenance on either their drivetrain or suspension for those vehicles to keep on running hitch free? If you buy a ‘toks’ of 95k miles on its odometer that was stipulated to have its timing belt changed at 100k miles and you decided to use it for 6 months without changing it to 115k miles and the factory timing belt breaks and damages your engine will you say it’s a factory defect? This is just one of numerous real life examples. Now the second part of your question was you barely know the condition of the car My brother, how then do you know that the previous owner properly maintained that vehicle before you purchased it? If it was not maintained well isn’t it only natural that it breaks down in your possession? Especially if you didn’t know the specific components and systems to ‘refresh’ immediately after purchase since you had no history of its previous maintenance? What you should have done; Run a proper vin check before purchase Read up on all stipulated vehicle manufacturer maintenance schedules and procedures and at what mileage they are to occur Read up on reviews of common flaws concerning the said vehicle and if there were any factory recalls on that model you’re looking to purchase These are the proper ways to source vehicle these days. The technology is here it’s how to use it that’s most peoples problems. |
