The point is that you argue as if the increase in prices were done simply to make more profit. As if the increase has little to do with deepening economic crises in the country. I don't think that's the case. If you're going to keep your prices low, you have to atleast make sure you're not delivering at a loss. There must be a base, a threshold where you can't operate under, financially... I don't think that these companies just woke up and jerked up their air fares..

It's a function of increasing inflation and the scarcity of operational essentials in the general economy.. And that's where a listening and pragmatic government should step in; Help the operators to quickly deal with the emerging logistics problems in order to stabilize prices across board. .. But that not the case here. That's not happening. We have a tone deaf presidency surrounded with a platoon of square pegs in round holes with round tommies as ministers. They fly private. While you are partly right, I think you misunderstood his point of view. Revenue is a function of both sales volume (number of passengers) and price (cost of ticket). Not price alone. Given that the cost of transporting the aircraft from one location to another with or without passengers is fairly constant, it would have been wise for them to make the increment at a reasonable rate…say 40k. This is an optimization problem and the parameters involved are sales volume and selling price. Ramping the price by additional 10k has greatly reduced their revenue since the effect of reduction in sales volume (increase price reduces quantity demanded) is very significant. Since the cost of transporting the aircraft remains the same, the result will be a drastic reduction in revenue hence reducing profit or even incurring losses.

Let me narrate a very bitter experience my friend had with Guarantee Trust Bank (GTBank)

A friend of mine had a dispense error on their web platform while trying to book a flight sometime last year december. He logged a complaint around the 21st of December at their branch in Warri so he could get a refund but as at today the 21st of February 2022, no value has been received. All he’s been getting are stories upon stories and he is now already sick and tired of visiting the bank during productive hours.

Experienced people in the house, what line of action should he take next please? Are there regulatory bodies he could escalate issues like this to?

Leme tell u my opinion and experience. Female nurses and lan scientists are at high risk to cheap or promiscuous as u put it. Now, its not becos the choose to but because of the nature of their job. These ladies work both day and most times all night too. Which they refer to as Call, during their night call/shift, they some times gat lonely and then fall prey to some Doctors who are sharp shooters. You know how the body is at night na, everywhere is calm and serene, na that time ur body go dey do u bai bai....... U sha get the point.

It's just that male doctors are at a higher level than their other male counterparts especially when they are early graduates . Most men are promiscuous when they have money.
But I can assure you that female doctors are not promiscuous but they may just be a lil more difficult to be submissive except if ur level financially is much higher than hers ....
(Which is also normal with a woman who is financially and intellectually bouyant)

I’ve heard so many stories/stereotypes about male doctors being promiscuous but not so much about their female counterpart. Are female doctors faithful in relationships or are they equally as promiscuous as the male doctors and nurses?

A friend of mine has this beautiful and curvy female resident doctor down south who just turned 26years old who is so into him. She has even used style to introduce him to some of her siblings but the guy is a bit skeptical about making a commitment due to the numerous stories he’s heard on infidelity among doctors.
