Beware!! Do not use hostnownow My client contacted me that he could not access an email I created for him. I was surprised and checked. To my amazement I discovered that all the emails had disappeared. I then checked the website and saw that it had been wiped. I logged into the cpanel to check and saw that a reset of some sort was done on the account making every file, images, emails etc. to disappear. After contacting them on what happened, they didn't take responsibilty or were they able to restore the website, despite it had been live for about 8 months. I even showed them a screenshot of how the wesbite looked like before the issue and they couldn't do anything about it. How can you claim to be a hosting company that cannot keep your customers' website files safe or be reliable to restore the website, in the case of an issue. Now I have to redevelop the website from scratch but definitely with another hosting company. I decided to use a Nigerian hosting company and see the result. A total regret. |

Kelvin30286063:Oga, I'm sorry to hear but as your topic is titled, you made a great mistake. You should have created an admin account for yourself and changed the account he gave you to a user account, as a way of collateral. Also, you should have possibly changed the cpanel details, especially as he didn't pay anything. Though, if you created an FTP account and you can still access it, you can download the site files and delete it from the server. You have learnt the hard way and you will surely recover. Let it go and put it behind you. It is well |
Kingjite:Oga, you can even use your phone to blog. But depending on the platform you are using. Your mini laptop is, in fact, great for blogging. First of all, what is blogging? Creating articles, with the use of SEO, to share on a blog and social media. So a mini laptop is okay. If you are using wordpress, then you do not have a problem, at all. You basically just need to post your article, upload supporting images and use SEO tool to optimize your article. One thing you should note in blogging is that, it is the keyword or keyphrase (the main subject of the article), that you need to come up first, which you will elaborate on to develop the articles and the articles should be at least 300words. So oga, you are more than good to go. |
I just had my own bad experience with them. They have the below message displayed on their site "We always work hard to ensure we provide you with the best deals from the best merchants, that's why we have the DealDey Pledge. If you buy a DealDey coupon, we'll work with the merchant to ensure you have a good experience." Can you believe that I purchased 2 items, a wrist watch and a laptop bag, on the same day, believing that their service was good. By the time they delivered the wrist watch was wrapped in a brown carton and taped with brown tape, no case or manual Then there were particles within the glass frame, as though it was open for dust to enter. When they delivered the bag, it was totally different from what was on their website. I called customer support and it was sorry they could say and I should send the bag back to the merchant by myself and the merchant is in Port Harcourt. So what service are they giving? They don't review the products merchants send and they don't play the role of intermediary but rather tell you to deal with the merchant yourself. I would advice not to buy anything from them or you make the decision of buy at your own risk |
