I have met a lot of men who genuinely respect women and have a lot of successful female friends. But somehow when it comes to dating and especially getting married they always prefer someone who is not ambitious. And it beat me to what the reasons could be. I am asking this question for a whole lot of young African women who are just about to give in to this mentality and looking forward to some really reasonable answers which give hope - especially from men. BELOW are some answers i got from a platform and i wish to sample our opinion on this, 1. Ambitious women make great friends but lousy wives 2. Like all ambitious people they see the world, the event, the people, and the opportunity, in terms of their own ambition 3. Ambitious women will see a man in terms of his potential for her goals, not for his 4. Ambitious women are good at making decisions, but not always right decisions 5. Ambitious women will put their goals before anything else, as do men 6. An ambitious woman will choose her man, so if you marry her it will be her choice not yours 7. If she does choose to marry you she will support you or abandon you. She will not 'put up with you' because she has no choice. 8.The most successful marriages I know of are those with ambitious women But they were where the man could supply all her needs, and were happy to do so. An insecure man would not meet those conditions. ARE THESE ASSUMPTIONS TRUE? Are we encouraging our young women to be less Ambitious? State your view... You may just help a soul today |

Report from the Vanguard newspaper this afternoon confirmed the bitter rivalry betweed the Rivers state Governor and the President of this Country. I do not have issues with men playing politics but putting the lives of an innocent Nigerian on the line is just the peak of it. Wike recently denied the present massacre in the state to have nothing to do with politics which is a huge lie. We in Rivers state knows when a killing is politically motivated or normal cult clash. Please, they should place more value to the lives anf properties of the people they claims to lead and stop playing politics with their lives. Just imagine this Vanguard report: Rivers violence: Fayose, Rep, wike flay Buhari Read more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/03/rivers-violence-fayose-rep-flay-buhari/ |
