uchman: Everything has a procedure... You must first develop interest in what you want to do, then look for a way to learn it and this is the most important...
You are not learning it as if you want to open a shop... No, you learn the fundamental and others will follow as the business progresses...
I lived outside Nigeria for years with permanent resident, I decided to come home and learn this business and since then, I will only spend 2 months outside Nigeria and come back waiting for my container...
The best part of it is that there are buyers waiting with cash and within 3 days you are done and off to your house awaiting next trip.
Note that you must bring out time to learn the business because everything has a sacrifice... You have been helpful. Where do you buy things sir? The US or Japan? Uchman Could you please open a thread about this like you promised elsewhere. Or would you prefer I contact you in private? Any help is needed. I don't mind paying for it. |

EgunMogaji2: It’s my opinion that there’s a glut of used vehicles for sale in Nigeria.
There’s vehicles for sale seemingly in every street corner.
This is why I’ve scratched off bringing vehicles in as a business. At least pedestrian vehicles as I still intend to bring in custom vehicles.
If you still intend to stay in the industry then you have to offer added value to customers.
I watch three companies in Ibadan that brings in cut up korope, used tv, fridge, bicycle, Micra, etc and they sell out as soon as they touch the ground. I’m talking about people almost getting into fights to buy them.
Rusty, cut up korope that needs to be reassembled are selling for between N850K to N1.2M Last week one brought in 8 and all 8 were sold in a matter of minutes.
Good luck. I think your salvation is in added value. You are always helpful. May Gob and Allah bless and keep you. Those mini buses, it seems are not usually imported from the USA. |

We have many cars in Nigeria but no sales. Despite selling close to cost price, just to have turnover. Tens of millions tied down. Everything is dull.
What else can we import? I have someone in New York.
It's getting me frustrated. Please contribute.

AkuOlisa:
From 2010 till 2017 I was as broke as a school rat. My girlfriend then stood by me even when people like you keep telling her to abandon me not because I did something bad, but simply because I was broke. But she stood her ground. To day I can afford to spend 1M everyday for the next 3 years and still be ok. As for that my girlfriend, bought a duplex, lands and cars for her, as long as I am alive she will be receiving 100k every month. The only reason we are not married is because of genotype. ( we are both As)
Being broke is just a phase. Character is Everything. Akuolisa broke till 2017 but now a billionaire in 2020. Nawao. Na so Gee dey pay ? |

justwise: Must one travel out of Nigeria if you don't meet visa requirements? If he can't meet Korea visa requirements then he should look elsewhere.
Did you just say 90s? How can you compare decades ago to present day?
Yes its fraudulent to approach some 'guys' at the embassy and pay them to check the validity of your visa 'unofficially' . What exactly is fraudulent about asking someone to check if your visa is valid? Be methodical and answer with ratiocination. |
Travel › Re: Please I Need Your Advice On How To Verify Visa If Is Fake Or Not by contumely2: 5:29pm On Mar 10, 2020 |
postemail: Dude, his visa might not be fake? That's why he wants to get it verified.
$30 doesn't get him a Korean visa without a korean guarantor to provide the necessary documents :tax clearance, signed guarantee form, employment history, publicly notarized invitation, ID copy etc.
All forgeries are not pointless and useless, because many have used them to board planes and seek "aduro" on arrival. Is right or wrong? Well, ask them dudes who used ''em in early 90's to Japan, Europe and America, chop "aduro", now either permanent resident or citizen.
What are you going on about fraud? Having someone at embassy check if visa is valid or not is fraud? Please! Having someone in jamb/waec check your result is fraud?
Well, the truth is there are visa agents. Some help you get a valid visa for a fee, some put a fake visa for a fee. Op has a korean visa in his passport. We don't know if his visa is valid. Op doesn't know if visa is valid. He paid for the visa. He wants to travel out of Nigeria. What does he do? Chai. You sound so smart, level headed and savvy. Leave just wise. He is simply unrealistic and haughty. You don't know all things and you don't become a repository of knowledge because you are a mod. Most students who got fake admission would have saved themselves the stress if they had someone to confirm at the master list. Just like going to land registry to confirm land documents. We brought 5 cars from the US last month, we had to confirm if the duties were actually paid by the agent before we took the cars to the east. |

PaulSimon2020: The problem is that lots of Nigerians lack viable, marketable and employable skills. Even in US here, you see lots of them driving Uber up and down or doing scams when you can be making a killing legitimately. The educational systems in Nigeria need to be overhauled else that country will not develop. They keep junking out thousands of half-baked idiots graduates that add nothing to the economy, year in, year out! but uber still pays them naa. Or what would you have them do? |
Romance › Re: Guy Hustle O To Meet Better Babes by contumely2: 11:18am On Mar 05, 2020 |
zed7: Typical example of inferiority complex. The wife of the shell worker will still cheat with the teacher if he has more substance than him. You people overrate women. Do riches attract women? Yes. Will it make them love you or be faithful to you? No. Acquire riches for yourself not to attract women. Being a pauper wouldn't make you happy but saying you can only get women because of money makes you less than a human. Even dogs without money get females. I wouldn't argue with a butterfly which thinks itself a bird just because it flies. I used to be like you many years ago. It took me 15 years to understand how things work coupled with it's nitty gritties and niceties. Until you understand the concept of consideration in law of contract and understand Adams smith principles, you will never know that even the personality you are talking about is like money. They are on the same level in economics and can be seen as cash ie consideration. At any rate, I doubt if we are on the same intellectual wavelength hence it appears we are speaking at cross purposes. |
Romance › Re: Guy Hustle O To Meet Better Babes by contumely2: 6:43am On Mar 05, 2020 |
zed7: Another childish post. Your hustling is to attract puss? Not to live a comfortable life, not to add value to the life of family and other people in need? Anyone with self esteem will be ashamed to know women are only attracted to him just because of money. Actually, they are not even attracted to him, they are attracted to the money. I never spent any money on a lady I was asking out. If you find me attractive and decide to date me, only then will I open the wallet and trust me, I know how to spoil my women. Boys learn, money will not bring you women, what you will get are hustlers, gold diggers and ho's. Hustle so you can live in comfort and afford stuff without begging or borrowing nor because you want leeches around. Women who have self worth will always still turn down a 'money miss road'. I have seen loads of women turn down rich guys with poor personalities. Rubbish. The greatest asset a man has is his wealth. Good looks, attitude, intelligence etc are ancillary. The girl you thought was attracted to you because of YOU was unconsciously actually attracted because of the qualities mentioned above except if she has no options. The average woman is hypergamous. If you are a teacher and earn 20k and a guy working with shell earns 1m, she will likely go for the guy at shell. In a few cases, she will be with you the teacher, if and only if she sees prospects or values some things you possess like character over and above the 1m Leave nollywood and see what works in real life. I saw where you said that he should hustle for good life and not to get women. Lol, most men inherently hustle to get women because women are part of the properties to buy when having good life. cc franchasng martinez39s stillmaticog ubunja pansophist |

monfizzy: Moving to the UK didn’t really know what to expect, I just had dreams and desire to change my life fortune. So when I landed at Heathrow I got my first scare when immigration told me to step aside after asking me why am I in the UK and who am I coming to see. Told them I’m not coming to see anyone but moving permanently to live with my wife (now ex) and they requested for her number and I gave. Then asked me where she is I told them she’s waiting for me at the arrival lounge. They delayed me for about 30mins but throughout the entire time I acted unworried coz I knew cameras were on me to observe my countenance.
Was just playing music with my Beats headsets and nodding my head to the rhythms, but I was worried inside me. I travelled with a residence permit and had all the confidence in-between the worries. So they later let me go and on getting at the arrival lounge saw madam and my brothers waiting for me, immediately I stepped out at Heathrow cold almost blew me off coz it was December period.
I was excited but the airport experience almost destabilised me. Sha thank God, my fortune has indeed changed forever. Now a naturalised citizen with a decent job and with an even promising future. No regrets whatsoever. The environment was a sight to behold. Nigeria would have killed my dreams. Yours is interesting. What happened to your wife? Seems Nigerian women abroad give many issues. |
