I am not so confident of a win. Chelsea are in a rebuilding process. New manager, new style, new players, new transfer strategy. Old players bowing out, young players on loan. This United game has come too early and I feel a draw will be a good result at this moment in time.
how can you be confident? ashley young would murder bosingwa tomorrow.

While the conventional wisdom that buying signings 'late' is the cause, this viewpoint is simply a cliche, lacking any depth of reasoning.

- The 'first choice' defence - Szcezny, TV5, Koscielny, Sagna, Gibbs were all available for pre-season and played together - none of them were new to the club and none of them needed an introduction to the EPL.

- Apart from the first goal which Per could arguably be responsible for, the new signings were not culpable in today's defeat.

- The culprits who scored own goals today - Koscielny and Song have played over 30 games together. Neither is a greenhorn nor missed pre-season, yet they made terrible errors. Ditto for Djourou and his abysmal performance today.

- Nasri and Cesc are not renowned for their defensive abilities - both of them have been present at Arsenal when we lost games we should have won easily. Both were at the club when we conceded 4 at Newcastle last season.

- The glaring errors today were all made by 'old' hands  - from Djourou to Song to Koscielny.

- The 'new' signings - Arteta and Gervinho actually delivered. Even last season's much criticised signing Chamakh came on and scored.

- There are fundamental flaws in the side, something that new signings or 'bedding in' are not addressing.

- Most of the 'panic' signings were attacking players - three out of the 5. If a team scores three goals and cannot win, the issue is clearly not with attack but with defence.
debosky's idiocy is worth 50 tonnes in gold!

what kind of stupidity are you displaying this evening?
wenger sold emmanuel eboue without replacing him. . . . .sagna went off injured and a massively out of form djourou was brought in to cover for sagna.
blackburn saw that weakness and they brought in the pacy olsson who ripped djourou to shreds. . . . .whose fault is that?

then arsenal brought in 5 mediocre players on the deadline day - what's that supposed to achieve? the situation is a bit like trying to submit a research. you've had 3 months to prepare but you only start working on it a few hours before the deadline. you're going to fail pretty hard - when you look at phil jones and ashley young, you would think they have been at man utd for the past 5 years - that's the purpose of pre-season games.

Things go from bad to worse. . . .simply unacceptable.

If it was simply a one-off, I'd have concluded today could simply not be our day, with TWO own goals, one offside goal and a penalty denied. But the performances overall clearly indicate this is a deep rooted problem.

Some players clearly have no business ever appearing in a senior game for Arsenal any more - specifically Djourou, as things go from bad to worse with him on the pitch.

Some of the mistakes were simply criminal - Song's lack of awareness for the own goal, same with Koscielny. If not for Szcezney again, we'd have lost 6-3 or worse.

They should all go to dip themselves in the River Jordan 7 times. . . . .losing in such fashion is clearly a spiritual problem. grin

he knew from the onset nasri and cesc would leave in the summer. . . .why delay their transfers? all he had to do was sell them as early as first week in july, cop the £60 million and move on his targets.

take his new recruits to pre-season, bed them in and let them gel with the squad.
how is this so difficult to do? but the bumbling simpleton delayed the transfers, and made panic-buys on the last day of the window. he ended up buying the scraps of what was available in the market. the opportunity of bedding the players was gone by then and what you have now is a disjointed team of twunts!

Those £4000 ones are the David Beckham of the "runs-girls" industry; their excessive rates are targeted at a niche group of clientelle, not a normal middle-class working man. The £99-£200/hour ones represent hi-class to an average UK worker, and they also work under agencies a simple phone call/email away. Anything cheaper than £99/hour is obviously an STD-infested, drug-addicted tramp.
and this is why the £4000 ones are the hi-class hookers.

the £99-£200/hour sluts are the lower-level hookers. blimey, £200 is chicken feed for most people on this island.
it means they are available for bus drivers, porters, security officers, road workers, etc as most of them make like £500/week.
how can the girls be hi-class when they are available to all and sundry?

I think it depends on what you mean be "high-class hookers", the average going rate for decent "runs-girls" in the UK is between £99-£200/hour. That price covers a wide range of choices from Latino, European, Black British e.t.c, and they all claim to be "high-class" The "low-class" ones who hang around in the pubs may even give it to you for free after you may have engorged them with copious amount of liquor.

No wonder all the girls are now on the Island, I see. No wonder you see them renting luxurious BQ at Femi Okunu estate, Agbungi,
Lekki phase 1, Oniru Estate, VGC and name them. Now I know. Go to Shoprite on weekend you will see them. Big cars and the come and share a drink all girls. Some are working class they gather themselves sit down and smoke and drink like there is no tomorrow. When they are done they wriggle their waist and jump into their cars and off they go. Yes its true they all carry BB, once their clients call them they zoom off. The students jump Okada to catch up no waste of time. Their prices range from 10k to 20k per round. If you want them for the whole night then you must be ready to dole out between 30k to 50k depending on the category of the runs girl.
Now the way to know them most times on weekend when you walk down the streets of the Island you see them drive past or walk by with seductive and skimpy dresses. If you are into p.rostitution on the Island the name is called runs but on the mainland you are opio, agbakara, agbongidi etc. So the advice to guys make no mistake about it when next you think you are giving a ride to a co island babe worker check properly you may be carrying a runs girl all you need is to strike the right code and if its a Friday she could be yours for takeaway. They live alone or with a partner in business.  In the houses where they live they are seen as decent and highly career minded people. They dont hardly bring men around there as its mind your own business.
Before now Landlords dont give houses to single girls but nowadays they are everywhere on the Island living alone and doing their thing unabashedly, you see a young girl of just 18 demanding for 50k to get down with a man old enough to be her father. Its ok before somebody brands me an old school but then its sickening how morals have fallen to the lowest ebb amongst our youths and teenagers. Some parents live here in Lagos whereas their daughters they thought are in school are somewhere on the Island digging it out. Its really ok since the society welcomes it. the fear of AIDS is not big deal to them anymore little, they are ready to get down with you as long as the price is right.
to be quite honest, i don't see anything morally wrong in the trade. . .

it's a straight deal, money for services rendered and everyone's happy.
no emotional attachments involved, no heartbreaks!!!!
are the runs girls considered high class hookers? huh
it depends on the level of the "runs" girl. . . . .you will not expect a girl peddling her wares in abuja to charge the same amount as the one in mushin.
from what i know, the ones who shop their bodies to senators, top politicians are the hi-class hookers.

true, some of them come from middle class families and/or are beautiful, but by and large, many of them actually use the runs stuff as a source of income.
true, but over time. . . .their proceeds from such illicit transcations accumulate to the point of owning mansions, driving posh cars and living wealthy.
they don't reduce their prices as a result of that, they just continue to add 5000 naira per month to the original price and men willing to pay for such do so without hassles.

so which actually came first- the chicken or the egg. Do the girls become high class from the runs, or are they high class who are into runs.
it's a bit of both.
a village girl who has taken her time to perfect her survivor skills would become high class over time. . . . .a hi-class girl from a rich background who decides to join the business automatically become a hi-class hooker.
UP OR DOWN?,

Looking at our post-manure games, (yes, i know they are only two) I think we are playing better than we have in a while.
The defence isn't looking as shaky and  suspect as it was before the last transfer window as PM and Kos look a confident and able pair (and our best defender is still out).
In the last game, Dortmund played some very good football  but it took a stroke of individual genius for them to find the net and I think our defenders deserve credit for standing their ground. Song is as important to Arsenal as anybody right now cos his determination, work-rate and ability make him a beast.

I also like the understanding i notice on the right side of defence as Sagna's concentration and eagerness to cover up for PM's  lack of speed means pacy attackers won't successfully take advantage of PM's sluggishness too often.

Surely we are less creative compared to last season, but i'ld like to see how this part looks when wilshere returns. In the game against Swansea, Arteta showed flashes of what he can do if given that AM role and I am sticking my neck that he will grab a  high number of assists/goals.
One thing  i find a little disturbing is Wenger's refusal to hand Ox some playing time when Walcott isn't delivering. Walcott is a bit of a weak link in our attack right now and he shouldn't be seeing 90mins until he improves.

Overall, I am content with our current team  as we seem to have far more competent players. Per, Ben and Arteta really bring something to the table, and we haven't even seen Young, Santos and the younger ones who i'm sure are waiting to pounce on an opportunity to impress.

I don't think we have any reason to fear as regards maintaining a top 4 finish and its looks to me we will finish higher than we have been doing in recent years.
The only way is forward right now. Who says we aren't GENUINE title contenders?

Whether damage mode or drunken mode, attackers always look for chances to score - they don't sit back and just give up. Even if we remove the Utd goal, he's scored twice in the CL qualifiers and provided an assist in the first group game. If he is the weak link then there's no attack at all at Arsenal.
