I suppose Your intention is to find fault in the sequence of words and actions in the film and the relationship details d movie producers might have omitted, consequently making u miss the seemingly intricate essence of the film itself in relation to societal values. In my household we hadly watch nollywood movies. The few we hav watched hav often fallen flat in respect of these errors u mention. But events chronicled in the movies are issues that do occure in real life.

now imagine someone like ibime going to naija to change the face of rap with £5m backing to start his own label, produce his own music & the "assets" to entice the public eye. if he puts an album out that is entirely about punches & metaphor, people will buy it en masse!

All I'm saying is that its quickly becoming a lose-lose situation for the man. His wife refuses him sex (because its her body blah blah). that is because we don't have many naija rappers doing the hardcore rap - they are all doing it for money. the music corporations in nigeria aren't interested in wordplay & punchlines. they just want music people can dance to & this is why the only rapper(modo) that still keeps it real is very broke!

the audience is there in nigeria. i can easily say there are more than 5 million rap heads in nigeria but the bad économy hinders the growth of rap music in nigeria. this is why i was hoping to sponsor mikuz before only to find out his face looks like ebola & thus lacks the star quality.

Over there,you don't need a good chorus to sell your songs nor a party beat to rap on in order to sell..

this is the second time i am hearing this...
rap music has a big followership in nigeria. when i was in naija, everyone in my area in lagos were obsessed with rap music - and i mean hardcore rap not the bubblegum rappers.
