cococandy: I don't know any reasonable person who would either.

Maybe like someone on this thread said,it's a racket that earns the govt money.
I don't know how true that statement is but if critically examined, there may be some truth to it.
Because it definitely beats reasons. Why should that man pay for kids that are not his? Poor guy

There's more to that story. And maybe someone somewhere is benefiting from all that.

BTW I don't think judged should be above sanction. That one needs his license(or whatever) suspended for awhile.
it's a widespread practise all over the developed nations, it's not an isolated case. hundreds of thousands of non biological fathers are paying child support for children they did not sire - why do you think we are saying the scheme should be completely scrapped?
Family › Re: Should Men Be Forced To Pay For Kids They Didn't Want? by coogar: 10:30am On Jul 06, 2014
Mondisweets: im pretty sure the woman would have done that by giving birth to the child they both created. Feeding and putting that child through school undecided Unless you are telling me that every man doesn't know that condoms break then what you wrote is null and void
birthing the child has a purpose - to collect money in child support from her partner. that's not responsibility - that's leeching!

My friend use your common sense if men abstain who will make women have sex with? undecided
if women close their legs, whose child would they carry? the decision to have sex lies with the woman unless in a case of räpe! if a man has stated she's not good enough to be the mother of his kids, why did she fück him?

Unless you are telling me that every man doesn't know that condoms break then what you wrote is null and void
control measures can still be applied by the woman after the condom breaks. a man's control ceases to exist from that point. so what was the woman doing to prevent an unwanted baby for up to 9 months? picking her nose?
Family › Re: Should Men Be Forced To Pay For Kids They Didn't Want? by coogar: 10:18am On Jul 06, 2014
Mondisweets: you do know that if a woman was on other pills such as antibiotics the emergency contraceptives might not work? undecided this is something a lot of people are not aware of . if you are clearly in capable of being a dad why dont u abstain from sex, thats what a responsible man would do undecided
and this is why there are about 20 different birth control methods for a woman to choose from. if she cannot go the full nine yards to have an abortion, why not use any of the 20 methods. a man has just 2(condom & vasectomy) and you still heap the responsibility on him?

when would women start taking responsibility for their own actions? he should abstain from sex and the woman shouldn't? unless you are telling me that every time a woman lies down to have sex, she is doing it to have a baby then what you wrote above is null & void.
Family › Re: Should Men Be Forced To Pay For Kids They Didn't Want? by coogar: 9:39am On Jul 06, 2014
Mondisweets: anyone with common sense should know that if you have sex with a woman even with a condom, it can break and she can get pregnant. We all know this even from primary school science.

Abortion is not always safe because it can leave a woman with scars that can never heal. Why should she put herself physical and bodily intergrity at risk simply because u dont want to be responsible for your actions.

This has absolutely nothing to do with feminism. It has everything to do with her human rights to life, human intergrity, bodily and psychological intergrity. Some have died because of abortion and some have damaged their wombs because it. And this include legal procedures too.

Its very simple if u know you might not want to have a child with a woman, its either you ask her to ger IUD or you simply abstain from sex! Im sure every man got to know that condoms are not 100% even before they started having sexual intercourse.

Learn to be responsible even if u dont want that child, fact still remains a woman should never risk her life or wellbeing because you dont want to be responsible. So long that child has your blood running in him/her you have the legal duty to maintain that child. If you have to sell bananas by the road or work 2jobs for the next 18yrs to put that child through school, then you do it!
responsibility is making sure the woman takes morning after pills after the deed is done. irresponsibility is when a woman forces parenthood on her partner when he has clearly stated he is incapable of being a dad.
Family › Re: Should Men Be Forced To Pay For Kids They Didn't Want? by coogar:
Tallesty1: It is too early bro and I don't have time to waste doing silly arguement. If you are not ready for a child then use protection or abstain. Ok, let's assume she consents to your decision(abortion) and dies during the process, will you go with herhuh.
What if she loses her womb, will you stay by her and die without a childhuh.
Use your brain and stop wasting precious time debating silly things. What if she is your sisterhuh. Think about that any time you want to do something stupid to a girl.
And for the child support you are whinning about, I think she will be happy to do that if you can carry the baby for nine moons, deliver and breast-feed it and do all the stuffs moms do. Both of you can trade places if you wish.
she's 14 times more likely to die birthing the child than going for abortion. abortion is safer than child delivery.

VantagePoint: They're not the same.
It's called VASectomy because it involves cutting/tying of the VAS DEFERENS which carries s.emen from the balls to the John Thomas, and is found only in males.
In females, it is tubal ligation as it involves ligating (tying and/or cutting) of the Fallopian tubes, found only in females.
the equivalent of vasectomy in men is tubal ligation in women. the option is open to both genders. abortion is not an option for a man. i only used my point to counter the people saying why didn't he get a vasectomy before the sex.
Family › Re: Should Men Be Forced To Pay For Kids They Didn't Want? by coogar:
VantagePoint: I beg to differ..vasectomy isn't for both sexes, only males.
tubal ligation aka female vasectomy!

armyofone: It is a very tough decision so don't blame her if she doesn't want those things you listed.
but it isn't a tough task for the poor bloke that would be forced to pay child support for the next 18 years? it's a stroll in the park?

I think people should stop using sex as recreation. Let's go back to the days of our grandparents.
you mean there was no pre-marital sex in the days of our great grandparents?

Once in a relationship, make it clear what you want. I hate it when guys think dating mean sex.
this is consensual sex, it's not räpe or anything close to thinking dating is sex. the man & the woman both agreed to the sex. the condom broke & she conceived. the reason he wore a condom in the first place was because he didn't want any child. the woman refused to do something about it & she carried the baby to term. why should this man pay?

Coogar, welcome.
happy new year! cheesy

chic2pimp: Some might call it ingenuity, I choose to call it pure common sense. Krul was the far better penalty stopper of the two. Infact I just won a bet with my mates (yes three of them) that Krul would come in if it goes to penalties.
it's not that simple!
even if he knew krul is the best penalty stopper in his squad, they could still have lost & the world would blame the manager for pulling out a goalie that kept a clean sheet in 120 mins for the one that was yet to play.

that was a big call regardless of how great krul is. it's all about readiness, nerves & skills.
Family › Re: Should Men Be Forced To Pay For Kids They Didn't Want? by coogar: 12:10am On Jul 06, 2014
pickabeau1: It just tells u how poor cilesen is
Krul himself is an average keeper
he's poor & he kept a clean sheet against a rampant costa rica side that pulverised italy & uruguay? give credits where it's due. some goalies are better at saving penalties than the others. if cillesen is poor, why is he starting for the dutch team?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 12:04am On Jul 06, 2014
Katangora: Its official.. Van gal is a genius.. Who changes a goal keeper for PK? shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked
i am now rest assured rooney's excesses would be curbed. this man has got some giant balls to pull that off. pull a keeper that kept clean sheets for 120 mins for another goalie that hasn't kicked a ball yet in the tournament is just pure ingenuity.
Family › Re: Should Men Be Forced To Pay For Kids They Didn't Want? by coogar: 11:48pm On Jul 05, 2014
louis van gaal is a genius!

for subbing a goalie in the extra time, it has to be the right decision. it has to be!
Family › Re: Should Men Be Forced To Pay For Kids They Didn't Want? by coogar: 11:40pm On Jul 05, 2014
pickabeau1: nahh.. you just been spouting inconsistencies.....
But its ok.. lets agreeto disagree

coogar .. penalties,,, can u call it
holland!
louis van gaal bringing krul in as a substitute is the biggest call i have ever seen. it has to be the right one otherwise........

EnlightenedSoul: Yes, I've come across that quote many times, and it's the height of hypocrisy.

LOL@thrust upon her. Yet she sat prime minister for almost 15 years, serving no less than 3 terms. To put the icing on the cake, she was also the leader of the Conservative party. And that whole time she never thought to relieve herself of these taxing manly positions. Poor thing!

Again with the HATE? This is just too much grin grin You should probably visit her resting place, and ask her that along with why she was such a gosh darn hypocrite.
which queen victoria are you talking about? it must be the one in your village. i don't remember her ever serving as a prime minister for 3 terms. she was the queen, not a prime minister.

why do i need to go to her resting place to find the answer about what makes you a heathen, hateful & a disgusting being? surely, you can answer that yourself, no?

pickabeau1: coogar i see u schooling... grin grin grin

Can u imagine we now have feminists with a conscience saying abortion is a big deal grin grin grin
we have been told there are different levels of feminism here on NL. initially, it was measured in percentages. 50%, 60%, 80%, etc

later, they broke it into different idealisms. liberal, feminazis, socialist, cultural & eco-feminism, etc. by christmas, the tune might change again.
Family › Re: Should Men Be Forced To Pay For Kids They Didn't Want? by coogar: 11:01pm On Jul 05, 2014
XKZ: To be honest, I don't know what feminism is. That's why you haven't seen me use the word.
it's a movement invented by the female angels in heaven. they preach equality only by the words of mouth - rarely by their actions.
Family › Re: Should Men Be Forced To Pay For Kids They Didn't Want? by coogar: 10:57pm On Jul 05, 2014
XKZ: Equality is not (always) Justice.
so feminism isn't about equality then....it's about justice? cheesy grin

XKZ: It's a free world isn't it?
You're just trying to put words in my mouth.
nah - it's not a free world for the men.
women have told us no one can control what they do with their bodies regardless of what their partners want and that's fine by me.

by the same token, men should also have total control of what he spends his money on regardless of what his partner wants. women should govern their bodies, men should govern their own wallets.

that to me is equality!
Family › Re: Should Men Be Forced To Pay For Kids They Didn't Want? by coogar: 10:46pm On Jul 05, 2014
XKZ: The baby still is.
And he can sue her if he wants.

But That's not what we are arguing here, is it?
he can sue? grin cheesy
you would sue a woman based on her decision on what she wants with her body?

logic has failed you yet again. grin
Family › Re: Should Men Be Forced To Pay For Kids They Didn't Want? by coogar: 10:42pm On Jul 05, 2014
XKZ: Because the baby is a product of his actions. He contributed 50% of the DNA.
but that baby isn't a product of his actions when a woman decides to abort the child her partner really wants? grin

you are not really good at logic, are you?
Family › Re: Should Men Be Forced To Pay For Kids They Didn't Want? by coogar: 10:37pm On Jul 05, 2014
None.

Women need to realize that men are biologically advantaged when it comes to having babies. They have less to lose.
The party that has more to lose should take more responsibility.

Though many keep the baby to "pin" the man down.
and this is exactly the reason the child support scheme should be completely scrapped. only married men who abandon their wives should pay child support.
Family › Re: Should Men Be Forced To Pay For Kids They Didn't Want? by coogar: 10:32pm On Jul 05, 2014
Are you saying every female having sēx is ready to be a mother?
that's the laughable assertion!
for a woman to spread her legs, she must have a baby.

XKZ: Really?!
What about all the guys paying child support?
they are forced to pay it & that's exactly what the OP was talking about. if a woman can't be forced to have an abortion, why should men be forced to pay child support?
Family › Re: Should Men Be Forced To Pay For Kids They Didn't Want? by coogar: 10:29pm On Jul 05, 2014
XKZ: I am not you are.
I can give you several examples (besides the company/employee relationship) that have been successful argued in courts of law all over the world to show that one can indeed be responsible for the accidental consequences of his actions.
never in a case like consensual sex between a man & a woman. he's told her he's not ready. after the deed, he kept on telling her he is not ready. if she goes ahead to birth the child then she should take all responsibility. it's as simple as that!
Family › Re: Should Men Be Forced To Pay For Kids They Didn't Want? by coogar: 10:24pm On Jul 05, 2014
Spermicides? grin
where will he apply the spermicide? inject it or what? condoms don't even come with spermicides again after it was discovered it could increase the chances of cervical cancer in women.

so what choices do men have?
Family › Re: Should Men Be Forced To Pay For Kids They Didn't Want? by coogar: 10:21pm On Jul 05, 2014
XKZ: Why are companies liable for injuries to their staff while on the job?
working in a company is the same as having consensual sex with a woman? grin cheesy so your company would be made liable after stating in your contract they wouldn't be held responsible for so and so? when your car is stolen in an area that says car parked at owner's risk - go & sue the owner of the park. grin cheesy

you are funny!
Family › Re: Should Men Be Forced To Pay For Kids They Didn't Want? by coogar: 10:14pm On Jul 05, 2014
XKZ: And That's why he needs to get a vasectomy; to ensure that his sexual activities remain irrevocable recreational.
this option is open to her as well. why can't she get vasectomy. you will have to find a birth control method a guy can use that is not applicable to women & there's none.
Family › Re: Should Men Be Forced To Pay For Kids They Didn't Want? by coogar: 10:09pm On Jul 05, 2014
XKZ: And my argument is that the point of not fathering a child that has already been conceived should not arise. He fathered the child when he donated half of It's chromosomes.
no he didn't!
recreation and procreation are 2 different issues. sex between unmarried partners are almost always for recreational purposes. in consenting to any activity, one does not consent to yield to all the accidental outcomes that might flow from that activity......

The definition of a hypocrite. She too should've been whipped just by going off her own speech LOL
overused quote? see her mouth like overuse. where have you ever seen the quote before to brand it overuse? her throne was thrusted upon her - she didn't campaign to be elected so she didn't go off her own speech.

however, she described you as hateful, heathen and a disgusting human being: the $64,000 question is - why are you so hateful?
When I say women are overly emotionally beings, they call me a man.

men & women have to go back and reverse the vasectomy to become fertile again - the success rate is almost 50%. do women have to reverse an abortion process to become pregnant again? cheesy grin

the logic is hilarious!
Why not the comparison ? Someone brought vasectomy up in their post.
when people run out of meaningful things to say, they come up with ridiculous assertions. vasectomy is an option for both sexes - it's not exclusive to the men alone. abortion, taking the pill, etc are exclusive to women & women alone.....so the vasectomy point is brainless.

datalossvictim1: It is not about forcing parenthood on anyone. I am simply stating what I think should happen. You disagree, some agree. End of smiley
what you think should happen doesn't answer the OP's concern. is it fair for the man to be forced to pay for a child he clearly stated he didn't want?
Family › Re: Should Men Be Forced To Pay For Kids They Didn't Want? by coogar: 9:29pm On Jul 05, 2014

amazing use of logic you got there.....
