BobNeli: There's this princess who's been living under the services and care of maids and wardens in her father's court. Her father being a very rich man, was coming home one day and met a strange situation in his house. The wife and the chief warden were having their time together and all of a sudden, as the man entered, they were stack naked. Well, the wife employed her woman power to convince her husband that the chief wardden was trying to rape her. Out of rage, the man mercilessly dealth with and threw the warden to the streets without a single pin from his many years of meritorious services to the house hold. And now, the warden being utterly frustrated without a granteed future, since he has wasted his youthful years in vein-services, decided to joing a kidnap syndicate, only with a view to cut his own pound of flesh from the family that has used and dumped him. His sole target being to kidnap the one and only hire-apparent to the family wealth, the princess. He succeeded. And after two weeks of the princess in the custody of the kidnapers, the rich man payed N20 million for her release. But the criminals having collected their ransome, decided to eliminate the princess in other to cover up their identities, since she has been with them for two whole weeks. But there was a twist of fortune. One of the criminals who has fallen in love with the princess was saddled with the responsibility of carying out the task. And instead of killing her now, he helped her escape, while reporting to the group for a successful job done. The princess has equally fallen in love with this criminal but the problem now is. The rich man has sworn over his dead body will he allow both to marry. What will be your humble advice to the family of this girl from the fore-going?
women generally fall in love with men they consider heroes - more so a lifesaver. they should let their daughter marry him. without him, they wouldn't have had a daughter to marry off in the first place.

however, this is a very familiar nollywood story.

dayokanu: The goal of scoring is to win and if you dont win one of the purpose is defeated. Why should a player who was trophyless in the calendar year be awarded anything? I dont think a player who has been trophyless in a whole calendar yr has ever been awarded such before

Note. This year, Messi won the La Liga

If this is strictly based on which player wins awards then its Ribery, If its based on the best player in football its Messi

But the FIFA and UEFA conspiracy that wants to give Ronaldo was why they extended the voting when it was obvious Ronaldo would lose
so how did messi win it in 2010 when sneijder & milito outshone him in club competitions & sneijder outclassed messi at the world cup?

as for your other argument, dademola is just letting you know ronaldo had to adapt to the spanish league after beasting the premier league. i agree that must count for something.

saying messi is a student of havard is a flawed principle. students of havard don't get beaten 7-0 by students of adamawa state university. barcelona weren't consistently the best team between 2008 & 2013. united, bayern, inter, chelsea gate-crashed their party in that period. so the havard analogy is silly.

ckc: My colleague says she has been married for about a year now and has been living together with her husband. She has a good-paying government work while her husband works with a private company. Now,the husband recently got a bigger job that will make him a manager in Abuja. This lady feels that the husband might start misbehaving with other ladies when he re-locates to Abuja far from where they are currently living in Asaba. She also feels is too early in her marriage for them to live apart as they just have a kid. What should she do as she can not leave her work to join her hubby in Abuja an simply believes he might cheat on her once they are not living together.
why is the man not thinking his wife might cheat? aren't there men in lagos too the wife could sleep with? if she cannot trust her hubby, why did she marry him in the first place?

superstar1: That means you are basing Mikel being awarded, on the collective performance and achievement of Super Eagles.

It is an individual award. Toure towers above Mikel, anytime anyday.
you can argue for both of them - the thing that pisses everyone off is how the criteria changes like every year. this year, they will base it on cups won. the next year, it's individual ability.

it's fraudulent.......sometimes it's also about the personality of the players. some players are generally liked while some are seen to be arrogant or dubious. if ashley young scores 300 goals in the league, they won't give him an award.

48 hours later, troglodytes are still arguing whether mourinho can play attacking football or not. this is the most moronic debate ever -

of course, mourinho is very attack-minded. it depends on the kind of opposition he's facing. in 2004/5 when jose had one of the strongest team in europe, did he not match rijkaard's barcelona attacking wise & even defeated them. chelsea scored 3 quick goals in the first 20 mins or so at stamford bridge playing some swift attacking football.

then roman tighten up the purse & jose couldn't have the kind of players he needed to sustain such an attacking philosophy. chelsea tailed off & mourinho left. he went to inter milan & of course, there were better technical teams in europe. he had to devise a formular to win. barca were beating teams left & right.....mourinho had to find a way to get past them & he did.

give mourinho the stability barca/bayern have gathered over the last decade. let him have a free purse to supplement for players he want & let's see if the swashbuckling football of 04-06 will not return. some of you anti-mourinho can't get your heads out of your arsë that this current chelsea squad is inferior to the one jose built in 2004.

Nashville: Enlighten us with these tests.
just telling her crazy stories that are untrue. i once told my girlfriend i impregnated a midget. there was nothing she didn't break in my flat. by the time she realised i was truly messing about, she knew she had overreacted. now, that kind of a woman is a ticking time-bomb waiting to happen.

there are pop quizzes too.
questions that might come up while watching movies or stuff. "if my mom says this, what will you do?" there are more than enough ways to get a chic to speak out & a man will then decide if she's good enough to marry or not. some other men believe only one woman can truly love them....i don't believe in such so i cast my net far & wide for my precioussssss.

You are right the woman did not become a monster overnight. They have been married for ten years and I knew both of them before marriage and she seemed ok. In her case, I think she brought a her own family baggage into the marriage and those things gradually took over her as years went by.
family baggage ke? hell no!
i can't even deal with my own baggage, i will now add to it? he should have just cut his losses. most men know the venture is going to be rough from the outset but still press ahead.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar:
I will give the players the majority of the blames.
your criticism is misplaced.

Is he the one telling them to be making individual errors even at the beginning of the season when Vidic was making defensive errors in ball clearance?
he has to take the blame. vidic/rio are washed up. they should be getting games separately once in 3 weeks to get the best out of them & that includes giggs too.

Is he the one who told Cleverley not to raise his game to the form he was at the beginning of 2011/12 season before he sustained a ligament damage in the match against Bolton? Unless you want to tell me he has raised his game up to that level.
football is 80% mental strength & 20% leg work. what kind of inspiration does cleverley draw from moyes? is moyes motivational? does moyes set targets for his players? for instance, fergie often bet with his players to get x number of goals & get paid so so amount?

Is he also the one responsible for Valencia's decline in form since last season? Valencia haven't been able to replicate his form of 2011/12. He is just getting worse by the week. Wing play has been the tradition of Man Utd. In the days of Lee Sharpe and Andrei Kanchelskis to Ryan Giggs and David Beckham; from the great Cristiano Ronaldo, Valencia was able to give us quality crosses in 2011/12 which made him win Manchester United Players' Player of the Year.
Do you know that Utd have 423 of the 533 crosses whipped in failed to find their target (a Premier League high). I am sure 50% of those crosses belongs to Valencia. If half of those crosses have met their targets. we wouldn't be where we are right now.
nani, young, zaha, kagawa, etc were all fit when valencia was busy stinking the whole joint. besides, what kind of training does he oversee that valencia's crosses have gotten disgracefully worse? are we sure it's not moyes that tells him to wack the ball against his marker & get cornerkicks?

Also, so many players making individual errors and getting sent off unnecessarily.
like i keep saying, i don't believe in repetitive bad luck. individual errors are signs of fatigue. moyes team selection pattern is a disgrace. some players are playing too many games while some can't even get a start. he cannot even rotate the team & get a decent performance out of them.

If he had zero man management qualities as you have said, then he would have had crisis with his players at Everton. It would have been better if you could mention those players he had overused and who he was supposed to have used at any particular game because out of 29 matches played so far this season, no single player have played more than 22/23 matches except maybe De Gea.
that's exactly the point.
everton is a small club - with little or no pressure. he can decide to fanny around & still finish 8th place. this is united - we are expected to win every game. evra, rooney, jones, janujaz, valencia, etc are some of the few players he had overused. meanwhile, young, kagawa, zaha, anderson, smalling, fabio have hardly kicked the ball this season.

He is the one at the training ground with these players and he sees them everyday and we don't. I don't believe he'll see a player who is performing in training and deliberately froze him out. At this moment if he has such a player with him he'll definitely use such a player because he has only bought only one player who is even out injured.
please remove that sentiment out of your missive. some players are dog's bollocks in training but become wet puppies on matchday. are you saying if welbeck gives more in training, he should get a start ahead of a fit van persie in the final of a european cup?

there's no way fabio is not better than valencia/smalling at the right back. why did it take moyes almost 4 months to play fabio in his natural position? zaha has more football sense than valencia. why isn't zaha playing week in week out? kagawa was also frozen for some time by gollum - why?

He has virtually given nearly all the players opportunities to show what they have got to offer but most of them are not stepping up except some few ones. Cleverley was meant to replace Scholes but he hasn't given up to 30% of what Scholes gave us when he was his age.
most of them are not stepping up because the selection pattern has killed their morale. if i were fabio, how would i think with a winger & a centre half preferred to me in my natural position?

kagawa is yet to cement his role in the hole even after van persie's long term injury. is kagawa worse than welbeck or rooney operating from the hole? moyes even opts for janujaz in the hole these days. what kind of idiotic management is that?

The most reliable midfielder we have right now is almost 32 1/2years old. He is the only one who can pass and drive the ball forward on a regular basis. How many of our rivals has a 32 1/2yrs old running the show for them from the midfield? Once he's out we face problem.
he just got back from injury & carrick's season always takes time to kick off even if he's fit. fergie repeatedly told us this that he feels carrick does not kick off until the 2nd half of the season. anderson is good, fletcher is back, cleverley(if paired with the right partner) is excellent.

I could remember in 2009/10 when we were very unlucky with injuries. That was part of the reasons why we lost the trophy to Chelsea. We were fielding Carrick and Fletcher as center backs in matches in the first part of the season. SAF must have given those players the same pre-historic training regime. Also, is it not the same training he was giving to Everton players? Have we had a stable team this season? It is out of what he has on ground that he will select.
in 09/10, we had rooney on a one-man wrecking crew winning games single-handedly till he broke his foot in naziland. this season, moyes military regime has ruined everything. remember, fergie promised to refurbish our health centre & we were very ok last season as regards to injuries. fergie brought in new experts & van persie copped 38/38 league appearances.

We’ve missed Phil Jones, Robin van Persie, Michael Carrick, Nani, Nemanja Vidic, Wayne Rooney, Rafael and Darren Fletcher in most part of the season. If our rivals can miss seven to eight of their important players and still maintain their respective positions on the league table then i'll accept. if City can miss Kompany, Toure, Fernandinho, Agüero, Silva and Negredo; Chelsea - Terry, Cahill, Lampard, Ramires, Oscar, Mata and Hazard for six to eight weeks.
this is no coincidence.
the injury this season has been blamed on the al-qaeda style bootcamp moyes has deployed. a dutch coach said moyes methods are too pre-historic.

I dunno that it has been established that injuries to key players at Arsenal has contributed their inability to win trophy.
our medical side of things was improved a while ago. we were on the up until moyes brought his bad luck to us. he should be sacked, the club has fallen apart. didn't we do a deal with toshiba & they refurbished our medical centre in 2012?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2219826/Manchester-United-build-25m-Carrington-medical-centre-prevent-injury-woes.html

I am not exonerating him totally but the players must take large chunk of the blames. He may have his problem with substitutions just like SAF had in the past. Substitution is like a gamble it may work it may not a la Fabio. When SAF was still the manager, a lot of forum member criticized his substitutions and team lists. Some even go to the extent of abusing his asst Phelan. We can not all be satisfied.
if the football has been swashbuckling, he would get the praises. moyes & the team is analogous to you & your team in FIFA14. the players are your tools & they need your tactics & intelligence to win games. moyes carries 100% of the blame. i cannot even blame the same bunch of players that delivered the title on a plate last season with 89 points.

The problem we are having right now has been there since about 3 to 4 years now. If not why did SAF had to bring Scholes out of retirement when he saw that City would run away with the trophy? That was the pointer to the problem we have now.
scholes was brought back because of injuries. anderson & cleverley got injured. fletcher had stomach trouble & jones later got injured that season(11/12). it was necessary to get some cover for the long-term injuries ravaging the team.

Don't even mention last season because we didn't have this kind of injury crisis then. Also, RVP was injury free, he solely won the trophy for us.
and you think this was some luck mother nature bestowed on us? RVP was excellently managed last season. his regime was different to everyone else in training. besides, rene is an excellent trainer - our players wow about him. even ronaldo considers him the best trainer he's worked it.

what did moyes do? he replaced him with 2 zombies called steve round & phil neville. read this article & see how rene turned ronaldo into a goal machine. this is the man we replaced with steve round who until now has anichebe as the best player he's worked with.

You wrote your whole life, dropped a complete verse and we still find you as a joke, am ashamed of you nigga, Quote me, you will never get my reply unless you put it down on rhymes, am not a Bytch, beef between MC's are dealt with rhymes!
i wrote that verse on sunday.
it took less than 90 minutes. lyricism & pen game is an innate ability. i have the ability but you don't. the only reason you have not been able to give your verdict is because you don't even understand 80% of my vocab. you are bïtch-made. if you run away from home for 2 days, you would come back pregnant!

go & lie down.

Nashville: Talking of fashion, I was reading on a thread that some guys wear their boxers shorts for up to two weeks without changing them. In fact I heard some guys wear their boxers for a month. As I was reading the thread, some guys were even defending it, saying boxers are not important. Abeg, no guy should wear boxers for more than two days without changing them. Doesn't it even smell? Some even say their boxers are torn and they still wear them like that.

Small time, you guys will be complaining that your woman does not give you Mouth Action. How will she give you Mouth Action when you haven't changed your boxers in three weeks. If your woman wore the same pant for three weeks, would you be able to go down on her? And them some guys complain that 9ja babes only buy boxers for their guys on birthdays and val's day. My simple answer is that she buys you boxers because that is what you need the most. In fact your babes should buy you boxers for vals, xmas and birthdays forever.
any man that does not have at least 20-24 pairs of boxers shouldn't even have a girlfriend. personal hygiene is my top priority. a man should endeavour to look clean all the time cos action might take place anytime.

smelling good, fresh breath, clean buzz cuts, shaved armpit, trimmed nails, etc must take priority even before food. women are very sensitive to smell. a guy that smells good is 50% job done already. ladies, if your man is inadequate, steal his money & buy him cologne, socks, manicure box, plenty of boxer shorts.

xtervaganza: one thing is to disagree with his obvious sexism(which I do) and another thing is to say you know women who have a better football knowledge than him when you really don't know how much he understands football.

Let's stop playing d fool to score cheap points
that's exactly my point....

i don't care what he knows. i know at least 3 female posters on this forum that will convert every vein in his body to football analysis. if he wants to take the challenge, then he should follow me to the european league section where people's soccer intelligence are picked apart by genius pundits.
