babseg: hey coogar here we go again comparing the opposite.oyedepo's witch was arrogant? how? she doesn't even look like someone that could express herself in english & she might not have meant what she said to bishop oyedepo. what would jesus do? slap a bewitched woman or save her? oyedepo has no rights to slap anyone - that's just barbarism! |
darefestus: Of course there is!with everyone taking poke-shots at de gea after the british media said he was weak at long range shots. van der vaart took almost 20 shots at old trafford. We know his best position is certainly different from his most effective position. Yes, he's most effective behind the striker but I still feel he could do a decent job shielding the back four, plus the added threat he gives us from set plays.he's too slow & he doesn't have the intelligence & the positioning of carrick to intercept passes. Now, if Giggsy's peformance against Bayer is anything to go by, then i'd rather he starts as he's the most creative midfielder we have in that team and he moves the ball quick, more tidy and less sideways like Cleverley.giggsy's performance against bayern should be left alone. leverkusen committed a cardinal sin. the space they afforded giggs to pick those passes undid them. you think barry would allow that? premier league teams are more forceful & they press without fear. I'd stick Valencia on the right with Rafael bombing past him as a decoy to creat a 2v1 against Oviedo since Baines is out and Nani on the left as an inverted winger to draw defenders out of position and give Evra some room to put crosses in. Because believe me,we are not going to hurt them through the middle so our best chance is out wide and from set pieces(they are dire at defending them).valencia is lazy.... with the number of crosses he couldn't get accurate against spurs, i say let's try something else abeg. valencia epitomises shyte. no nous, no technique, no panache. Ando can always come on later to give us some energy if we needed it..as will januzajtomorrow's line-up would tell us much more about moyes. if we cannot get 6 points in the next 2 games then moyes deserves a dirty slap. harry redknapp would have done a better job. |
yes.
nah...i am not remotely edo! |
^ are you edo by any chance?
is that question for me? MyJoe: It's to do with the point being made which you fail to get - the governor has no right to use tax payers' money to settle his whimsical bad behaviours. My post was not about forgiveness and human redemption. My view on that from the start was that he needed to apologise personally to the woman. Now he has done that, very good. Giving her a job was also good if there was a real vacancy and she was qualified for the post. But giving her money was not good, unless it came from his own pocket.he didn't use taxpayer's money - he used his own personal funds in combo with his daughters. he said so during the interview. watch it before you judge him. |
iyes: Two things are very sure:oshiomole warned her not to share the money - he even assigned policemen to escort her to the bank & deposit the money immediately. toasters & in-laws wouldn't even dare. |
bukatyne: You cease to be a student when you defer your admission due to illness or have extra yeargo on the internet and check the meaning of a career woman. i am done spoonfeeding you. |
allisonluvsu: this is the video of the apologyi have watched the video & the woman insisted she's not a roadside trader or a hawker. she was waiting for a bus when oshiomole appeared behind her. oshiomole said his daughters have been harassing him on behalf of the woman but he still did well employing the woman & vowing to train her son if he gains admission into a university. babseg: dont quote me wrong. i never said i wanted him to be cricified.let pastor oyedepo apologise to the witch too for spiritual selfishness.....at least he was seen dishing the slap & he didn't seem it fit to apologise to the witch. oshiomole na bad guy o - he gave the woman N2m cash in an envelope just like that. benin boys should not kidnap this woman or her kids o. |
darefestus: No way are we starting with Anderson and Cleverley. You still thinkv his is Cleverley of 11/12..Even then, as much as they were a joy to watch going forward, the definately needed someone to clean up the mess they left behind.there's no mess to be cleared when they go forward cos if they go forward 5 times, we would score 3 times. what's the point protecting anything - we have protected throughout this season at home & we have kept only 3 clean sheets in 13 league games - who are we fooling? points(goals) is what we need now, not clean sheets. So I'd rather we play Fellaini, Giggsy/Anderson and Rooney dropping to assist them under pressure.fellaini isn't suited to that role. fellaini's best position is behind a striker....he cannot protect nada, ross barkley will run rings around him so bad it would be pitiful to watch. Our eleven should be: Ddg-Rafael, Evans, Vidic, Evra- Fellaini, Giggsy/Ando- Valencia, Rooney,Nani-RVP(if fit). Hopefully we won't concede our mandatory set-peice goal again.de gea, rafael, smalling, evans, evra, anderson, cleverley, nani, kagawa, young, rooney. at this stage, we should go for it - no point playing mechanical players again. in the 60th minute(with 3 goals up), remove cleverley for marouane, young for giggs & preserve rooney for the weekend games & give hernandez a run. |
babseg: dont mix it up. no leader has the right to abuse/assault anybody. the right word to use is abuse not right. Oyedepo is the founder of winners he reports to no man. so when he dies holy spirit will chose who to leada man erred & he quickly apologised with a monetary incentive to boot & you still want him crucified? what else do you want from him? |
babseg: Hey coogar how far now, but I wonder why you are comparing a politician and a pastor.so you are saying a pastor has the rights to physically abuse/assault a woman because he owns the church? are you saying bishop oyedepo owns winners church or he's just a custodian chosen to lead.......just like oshiomole is to edo state? if bishop oyedepo dies today, will his son or wife takeover the church?
Does he look like he doesnt want a drink? Can we see other pictures of this tea meeting btw.
do you now believe this story or is it still set-up by political enemies? |
bukatyne: You can't get away from the hookyou cease to be a career woman the moment you take 3-5 years out of your time to nurture your kids. a career woman is not interested in making children. their career is more important than having kids here & there and that is who coogar said all men should avoid. bukatyne......booooooooooo! ![]() |
larride: We should move forward and forget about the tottenham game.jones is suspended - so it's cleverley + anderson & that is 3 points. knowing moyes though - he will play giggs or fellaini. |
dayokanu: God bless you. You see the reason why I said EPL fans are mostly uninformed and limitedyou are the one uninformed here.... won't you look at the strength of the team you are playing against before deciding the tactics to use? are we asking moyes to go cavalier against barcelona or madrid? if moyes cannot go cavalier against cardiff, southampton & west brom then he should sack himself. E.g Leverkusen director Rudi Voller last week was telling everyone that he would use the Man utd game to show the world the wonderful football of Leverkusen. His team that is known for sitting deep and countering now thought they could outplay Man Utd because some clubs were doing it.i am sure rooney + rio + fellaini cost more than the whole bayern leverkusen squad - rudi voeller must be high on pubic hair to even suggest his team should come at united - they lost 4-2 at old trafford.....it should have been 8-2 if united strikers weren't so profligate. bar chelsea & city, united should be going all out to batter the remaining 17 teams in the league. we are miles better than them - fergie never shies from such, he goes all out to punish teams & we always get the results. 8 league goals in 6 home games is the poorest in the history of man utd in the premier league era. |
MyJwell: thanks.. she's a Yoruba girl ...i have asked her but she said they only have list for engagement but that i should think of buying 2 basket of fruits and some soft drinksyou need about N10,000. fruits & soft drinks & a bit of general knowledge of her family. you would be asked to identify some members of her family by their names. |
Sarcoc: You guys no dey think well - if that vidieo did not surface would you APC governor do anything about thisyour reasoning is backwards... social media or no social media - he's apologised & he's taken another petty trader off the streets. that N2m would feed & benefit other poor people close to the woman. compare him to the pastor that slapped a witch in church. did he apologise after your social media noise? did he do anything financially or spiritually to save the witch? get off oshiomole's back. he's done really well. |
fidatt: then he is not ready to get married. When he is ready he will see his wife in one of th six girls. I don't believe a man or a woman can sincerely love more than one person for a relationship or marriage.how will his readiness make him see wife in the 6 of them? if they aren't worth his while in the first place, he won't be considering marrying any of them in the first place - which means all the 6 of them are wife materials. so try again..... |
Ujujoan: Political office holders are still human beings . . . just like you.you are correct...... anyone complaining after this gesture is a hypocrite with a political agenda. it takes a lot for a governor to apologise to a petty trader. the woman herself accepted the apology - the matter was between them & not with the noisemakers here. oshiomole has done the needful - case closed! |
very kind gesture from adams oshiomole - our protests yielded a positive result then. i hope the guy that uploaded the video gets 10% cut. ![]() this matter should now die a natural death. |
bukatyne: Coogar is just arguing for the sake of it!that's the difference. ![]() |
ravel morrison again..... https://i.minus.com/ibuKQSXYsfps4s.gif by far the most talented young english player in the UK. he's just taking the piss now on the premier league as if it's his bread & butter. to think fergie allowed a precocious talent like this slip away is criminal. |
darefestus: @Coogarhow many goals did united concede last season? by how many points were we ahead of the team that finished 2nd? scoring is the most important thing in football - this is why strikers cost fortunes & defenders are just there. As much as you needed goals to win games, ensuring your opponents score less than you do is essential. And our defence has not done that enough for me this season.outscoring your opponents is the most important thing in the league. if the results of all the 38 league games of my team is 10-9, i would win the league. you can still relegate if you keep 38 clean sheets in a season. Under Fergie, once we went one-nil up, you could almost stake your family that we wont conceed in the dieing minutes..We dont have that solid base now because our defenders have let us down in games this season(overlooking our apparent lack of quality in the middle) moreso than Moyes' admittedly negative set-ups.moyes tactics, selection, substitutions have let us down. there's no abracadabra in football. moyes doesn't just do enough with his ambition or intent on the technical dug-out. minus the stoke game, moyes is yet to make a substitution that influenced the game positively & that's our biggest weakness yet. there's nothing wrong with the defence, we have conceded 17 league goals. after 13 league games last season, we had conceded 18 league goals but we scored 32 times unlike 22 league goals we have only managed to score this season. goals win games not the ability to keep clean sheets. www.nairaland.com/attachments/1446064_image_jpg0d5b1c4c7f720f698946c7f6ab08f687 www.nairaland.com/attachments/1446065_image_jpg0d5b1c4c7f720f698946c7f6ab08f687 city have scored 29 goals at home & united have scored only 8 goals at old trafford(poorer than everton, southampton, liverpool & newcastle)....yet we blame the defence or we should blame moyes' negative tactics?? |
football is about momentum & swings... as at the time rooney's penalty went in, the momentum was with us. the old united would have scored the 3rd, 4th or even the 5th goal. this is a spurs side low on confidence after getting battered by city. that was a united side full of confidence that just murdered a team away from home. moyes should have thrown in nani/anderson around the 60th mark & hernandez before the 70th mark. that move alone would show intent & you would be surprised villas-boas would be the manager bringing on defenders reactively to counter moyes' subs. united are the bigger team but moyes left it far too late. |
kandiikane: Gosh coogar you are so full of shyt. Your initial argument never said anything about temporary staying at home. It was no to career women. Majority working mothers do stay at home for a while anyway so what is your argument? Are you for or against a career woman because right now you're arguing senselessly.it's not my fault you lack the ability to comprehend. majority working mothers do stay at a home for a while? how long is this while? stop throwing up a blanket statement that hides the fact. kandiikane: Coogar, what myth exactly? We are talking about ivy league student with both parents working and not scholarships. Point is, children are still able to perform and become successful with both parents working.they don't - majority of 2 working parents still cannot afford to pay the fees of ivy league schools & that's beside the point anyways - it's just another ploy of yours to veer off tangent due to the very short attention span of yours. students going into ivy league colleges are no longer in their formative years. the focus is really about young kids in their formative years & their need to bond with their parents, no one is speaking for full grown adults here. |
darefestus: Was he to blame for our defenders jumping when Walker was about to shoot? They should have known he was going to go hard and low, yet they jumped and you blame it on Moyes.such things are inevitable in football - humans make mistakes but the ability of a manager to react to those things is what makes him great. chelsea conceded after about 16 seconds yesterday but jose turned it around..... You also blame him for Cleverley's inablity to prevent Sandro getting his shot away?all those errors were his fault - if we had scored 2 or more goals at the other end then the ones conceded bear no significance. expecting a defence not to concede at all is a fantasy. show me one team in the history of football that kept clean sheets throughout a season. the key is to outscore your opponents - score 3 goals or more & our opponents would be too demoralised to stage any come back. As much as He hasnt set the world alight with his brand of football, we really have been let down by the players(especially the defenders) since we dont have a midfield.moyes has let himself down - his substitutions are rarely effective. he's gotten his subs tactically correct only once against stoke & it was prompted because stoke took the lead a minute after half time. I'm sure you rememeber us winning 1-0 for five consecutive games in 2011/2012 playing this bland style of football. Imagine where we'd be if we held on against sotton and Cardiff and you'd see my point.that was the aftermath of losing 6-1 to city. the cavalier approach had to be dumped for a more pragmatic approach & we won those games. moyes is pragmatic & he's not winning, so of what benefit is his boring football? |
darefestus: No it isnt!i am not confident moyes will win those 2 games. he's too negative!!! with a bit of common sense, moyes could have taken maximum points against southampton & cardiff but go back & see his substitutions on that day & you will understand what i am all about. he's more comfortable defending a goal league than going all out to get the 2nd & the 3rd. this is the premier league....2-goal lead is not even safe enough but moyes doesn't know this. we were inches away from drawing against arsenal if only bendtner wasn't such a paraplegic. |
darefestus: Its okay for Moyes to be a little cautious given our set of fixtures.but where's the success? if he was first or 2nd on the table playing boring football then i can live with that......moyes is playing boring football & he's not winning. we are 8th on the table in december.....when was the last time you have seen us in this awful position? the southampton manager & pellegrini are new too. why is it taking moyes such a long time to figure out his first team? it's highly unacceptable. we are below everton, newcastle & southampton & you are making up excuses for the charlatan manager...... abeg, we go fight o!!! |
darefestus: We won last season because non of our rivals came to the party. Besides we dropped five points against tothengam last season so your statement is invalid.none of our rivals is in the party even this season. our rivals are far worse this season - moyes is just more terrible than them. no one in the league has been able to reach 2.5 points per game that we were doing with ease last season. our play has been lacking tempo and identity for the past 3 seasons now so its not solely Moyes' fault for the dross we serve on weekly basis.even with the lack of tempo, fergie's team would have beaten southampton, cardiff & west brom. he's not scared to go for it but moyes can't be bothered. we have never looked like scoring in the last 5 mins of any game since moyes arrived - we looked more like conceding sef. People forgot Fergie was no tactical genius himself..The difference between this season and last is that we lost our 'fergie factor' and the league is definately more competitive.yes, fergie gets it wrong 30% of the time but he is not scared to throw all his attacking options on the pitch to change potential defeats to victories. the only time moyes has done that was against stoke. by the 76th minute of that game, we had RVP, rooney, hernandez, kagawa, valencia & janujaz on the pitch....of course, winning was inevitable. if he had shown the same bravery yesterday immediately after rooney's penalty, we would have gotten the winner. however, idiotic moyes waited till the 83rd minute to introduce his 2nd attacking substitute. that does not show ambition. |
somebody should screenshot the league table so we know the front runners & the ones in the relegation waters. the league should be sectioned next season - only the first 40 should make the premier league next season - the others should be in the lower division including ibime(for his cowardly act). there should be promotion & relegation to make it more interesting & any coward like fat ibime gets automatic relegation. throw more motivation in it & people would take this ish more seriously. |
n0m0705: Maybe cleverley has been harshly criticized, but I expected more from cleverley considering that he is a natural midfielder and he was suppossed to be the one driving us forward which he failed to do and jones seemed to do his own duty of covering the defence better.cleverley passed to rooney 9 times. rooney must have been standing behind him or beside him those 9 times because the ape crew insist cleverley only does sideways & backward passing. Oghos1: You are all shouting for DM to take risks now. When he does and it backfires woefully (eg d risky set up leverkusen adopted against utd datz making u all judge them to be total shyte after watching just 2 of dia matchesthe same risks he took against stoke that yielded benefits? i am sure if stoke weren't leading at OT, moyes wouldn't have ringed the changes needed to turn 0 points to 3 points. |
n0m0705: As for jones, I do not know how he was responsible for the first goal, and even if he was, how can that singular event over shadow his decent contribution in that match? He may not be the best in the league , but presently he is the best we have. we were not outplayed in the middle, we had more possession, more pass completion%, we actually outpassed spurs which I never thought will happened before the match. The only area of the field we suffered yesterday was the attack/creativity dept and I don't see what that has got to do with jones.so if jones has just 0.1 points more than cleverley according to optastats then phil jones didn't achieve much despite providing the cross that led to the first goal...you either praise the 2 of them or criticise the 2 of them. now compare how cleverley has been demonised & how jones was overhyped by the silverback ape crew then you would know some people have an agenda for some certain players here. darefestus: I thought the substitutions were okay except hernandez as he offers nothing with his back to goal.the substitutions were stüpid beyond belief.....the timing was so wrong. he should have made all his subs by the 70th minute. bringing on young/nani with 7 mins to go just goes to show moyes has no ambition. |
lynk106: but you didn't answer the question. financial aid or not, survey all those students and overwhelming majority of them come from families with two working parents. In fact, you are more likely to find children from single (working) mom household than to find kids of stay at home moms at ivy league schools.provide your evidence & stop throwing conjectures in the air. the stay at home we are talking about is not the permanent type - it's only for the first 3 years of a child when the baby is in his formative years. your idea that children raised by stay at home moms are somehow superior is very stüpid.you are a product of your environment so when you say stay at home moms are hilly-billy rednecks then it only tells me the kind of disturbed environment you come from. where i come from, majority of the stay at home moms sacrificed their career to nurture their kids. so there you go, they had a career before deciding to have children unlike what is in your head. those are the people I associate stay-at-home moms with. The rest are stay at home not by choice (lost their job, recently gave birth etc).what you associate them with is largely irrelevant. there are hundreds of millions stay at home moms that are more educated than you are. they decided to nurture their kids because they are smart enough to know nothing they achieve in life can compensate for failure in the home. and talkless of blacks or africans abroad. I have NEVER meet a stay-at-home mom of black or african origin.yet more idiotic assertion - what makes you think every african male has your dad's personality? the more you speak, the more it's apparent your mom should have stayed at home. unless he has a very gentle personality. I'd rather be a single mother than live like that becuase it seems to me like a recipe for disaster (potential for domestic abuse, deprivation etc)don't liken your own personal experience to everyone else's. the most important work any mom or dad can do is within the 4 walls of his house. if you want a career, don't have children. there's no way you can devote yourself equally to both so go & get your tubes tied. Career leads to financial independence. truth to be told. and women should definitely have their careers. Just don't have a lot of kids/use family planning.this is what the government wants - get enough capitalist slaves to work & work so taxes can be paid. there's a tacit message out there to demonise the stay at home moms & people like yourself have bought into it. you see slavery as liberation but no career success will ever compensate for failure at home. |
