https://i.guim.co.uk/n/sys-images/Football/Pix/pictures/2013/12/6/1386351702356/Manchester-United-v-Newca-001.jpg this proposed line-up makes me laugh. i know plenty of united fans that will die of heart attack if they see welbeck in the starting line-up. |
Katsumoto: I agree with you but my team will surely trash the eagles anyway.which is your team? angola? Ikechukwu is as good as Emenike but I suspect kESHI didn't manage him properly during the last AFCON. Your point about Keshi having favourites may also be a pointer to his loss of confidence during the AFCON.keshi is too big-headed. he drops & calls players at will. he's always trying to make himself look like SAF and he overdoes it. he should calm down, only the best players should make the squad. |
why is chamokazzy playing in the championship & the premier league? |
ow11: Ikechukwu Uche had a disastrous AFCON with no goals and was out of sync with the rest of the team. He was injured and his brother Kalu asked to be left out of the squad after scoring 12 goals last season. Emenike, Anichebe and Dike were also injured.one disastrous tournament should not keep a striker out of the team. let's be honest - the brand of football keshi played in that tournament didn't suit uche. uche plays in spain, he's all about receiving short intricate passes at the edge of the box. during that ANC, hoof it to the big man was our go-to option & that suited emenike really well. for a striker to flourish, the manager must play to his strength. at the confed cup, keshi actually played the brand of football that suited uche but uche was nowhere to be found & we lost out due to our poor finishing. from what i have seen from uche in villareal, he's our best striker & if he carries on with his current form, he should be the first name on the list going to brazil. ideye & co should watch the game on their big screen TV from nigeria. StarBoard: And after that he never replicates that form at AFCONs.he's not a yekini or ikpeba but he's better than his peers currently. |
macof: Mtcheww You are truly a rap novicei noticed that too. he probably thinks timaya is a rapper. |
StarBoard: that dude is washed up and largely overrated.i beg your pardon..... washed up? as opposed to brown ideye & the other cattle-rearers that don't even know where the post is. uche has scored against valencia & athletico madrid this season o. nitlad: But Drogba averages more goals per game for Ivory Coast than Dzeko does for Bosnia. .who are drogba's neighbours on his continent? rwanda, comoros island, somalia, botswana, etc. dzeko has to contend with germany, spain, france, italy, holland. Don't worry, Keshi's team selection this time around shall be rid of sentiments. 9ja's party to Brazil would be the crème de la crème of Nigerian football.he has no excuse - keshi should subscribe to opta & see the nigerian strikers doing the business in europe. if i see ideye in that contingent, i would personally organise goons in brazil to castrate keshi. |
nitlad: IK Uche. I think it's because he had a disastrous ANC.rooney shouldn't be playing for england then if it's about previous tournament showing. kanu never scored a goal for the super eagles in any tournament but he was never dropped for poor performance. keshi is a tool! i watch this dude @ villareal on a regular basis & he's scored 6 league goals & 2 assists for them in 12 games this season. if we had him in the last tournament in brazil, we would have performed better than having a troglodyte like ideye in front of goal. |
ow11: Drop the name of two strikers that have scored over 10 goals in 2013 that Keshi has NEVER picked?why did keshi drop that boy that plays in spain for the confed cup? what's his name again - i think he has a brother. he's fair & the guy is very very decent. |
Kanwulia: You started a sub-thread, I only replied.i think it depends on the individuals getting married & the kind of families they come from. i have friends that married from the other tribes & they couldn't be happier. i know people who married from their villages & the turbulence in their marriage can unseat the titanic. |
nitlad: Our defenders head dey dia o. . . Defenders wen cage Drogba for ANC.dzeko poses more threat for his national team than drogba does for ivory coast but nigeria can beat them if keshi selects the right players. i have been reliably told keshi uses sentiments to pick players for tournaments. i dunno if that is true but after his disastrous showing at the confederations cup, his final selection should be screened. StarBoard: You just made me have a rush of nostalgia.but what happened to the breed of nigerian strikers. there was a time we had them aplenty. it's a shame we have not been able to produce a world class striker like drogba in a country of 170 million. dayokanu's bundesliga ruined chrisantus. ![]() |
nitlad: Even the Dzeko sef, he can't get a game at Citeh!dzeko is dangerous o - i can't even front. he's deadly. against our akpu eating defenders, dzeko can wreck havoc. StarBoard: I might be wrong but this looks to be the easiest group we've been involved in on paper at least.imagine if we have yekini & siasia(in their prime) in keshi's squad..... |
sleekdot: Bosnia can cause us troublethere's no trouble - dzeko is the only danger i see there. keshi actually has a solid team minus good finishers. that's all he needs to find now. |
nigeria face iran, bosnia & argentina. keshi can get 6 points here before we face messi. not a bad group if keshi finds strikers that can score goals. |
adaobi123: That RAE thing. Wasn't it published in 2008 ? Times have changed.they publish it every 5 years. i am not sure they have published the one due for this year yet but not more could have changed in the last 5 years. salford still get more funds from the government than coventry & that's the key indicator in choosing these schools. |
Leyqute: But Evra is playing two positns in most matches- 3 n 11. He is bound to get fatigued earlier than other full backs.that's because moyes is an idiotic manager drafting players out of position & screwing up the team balance. he should let everyone start from their natural positions and see how it pans out. the deadwood should be benched & that includes valencia & uncle giggs. |
Bukato3: Ready to Die sounded exactly like most other hardcore rap albums talking about being a crack dealer and hood b.itches.Plus couple of tracks on Ready To Die could’ve been left out.and that's exactly why that one album conferred biggie as the king of NY & nas had to watch from the sidelines as biggie became the face of east coast rappers. Illmatic though short had perfect flow, beats/production, and unique concepts. I.e.: A letter to incarcerated friends in song form.hahahaha - illmatic was a dope album but ready to die was like a book. biggie's flow & his storytelling ability just edged it for him. nas is a poet & the picture he was trying to paint was a bit sketchy. |
superstar1: evra needs a rest. he is weary. Fabio or buttner should play. Playing with Evra does not guarantee victory any way. why cant we just let the poor man rest.he needs a rest? gibbs & clichy are not resting and evra needs a rest? hell no! he must play tomorrow. we need to get back to our winning ways asap! |
adebayo201: I fit no watch the game oh!moyes is the one holding us back...he's a useless manager & he has no business managing united. if i were moyes, i would go with this line-up. -------------de gea----------- rafael--smalling--jones--evra -----cleverley---anderson---- --nani----kagawa----young-- ----------chicharito----------- but moyes does not have the balls to go for this, he will play the zombies(valencia, giggs & jones) in the midfield & he would cöck things up again. |
adaobi123: http://www.thecompleteuniversityguide.co.uk/league-tables/rankingsthe list is dodgy - salford is better than coventry. coventry was a polytechnic up until 1992 & their endowment is a measly £1.5m salford on the other hand gained university status as far back as the mid 60s & about £7m endowment. even the last RAE ranking placed salford ahead of coventry. the 2 schools are nothing to write home about though but if pushed, salford is better than coventry. |
StarBoard: But they were " sparkling" when we beat Leverkusen. Or was that a one-off flash-in-the-pan? I actually have to rethink wasting all those MBs arguin in Valencia's favour when we had that Nani/Valencia debate. Money would have been better spent throwing it into the laggon from the third mainland bridge.leverkusen are a shyte team..... any performance against them is nothing to be reckoned with. They will say van Persie missed the same chance vs Leverkusen. But this is a player pocketing 250 k a week and cannot be bothered to make a difference when the chips are down.were we in such a win or die situation when van persie missed? has van persie's miss cost us our top position in the group stage in europe? And he's supposed to be our logical choice, according to Oghos1.he's not but mourinho was going to be unemployed when the man utd manager's seat was vacant. he was the only one available then & should have been the logical choice. Another puzzle that David Moyes supporters don't want to address. The Zaha situation. Really pathetic.moyes is a disgrace!!! Martinez >>> Moyes anyday.he won a cup when they relegated - moyes won nothing & if wigan spent money on the team to the level of newcastle, wigan wouldnt have relegated. |
Oghos1: seriously!! Mourinho? Lol.be deceiving yourself......the stop-gap we had then needed someone to sustain the success and jose mourinho was that stop-gap. give him 3 years, send giggs/neville/scholes on intensive coaching course & bring them back when they are ready. would jose take us to 9th position after 13 league games? On a more serious note.we did. if we throw the vacancy open, they would apply. Admittedly when I first saw d new iwan lyk 'noooooooo'. But he's here, he's not doing that badly. I can start making excuses for him, but I don't have that time n energy to waste nwo. D bottom line is, he'll come good. I'm sure of that. just be patient.he will never come good - let's bet £500. |
dademola: d club was looking for long-term manager. Der wld alws be d possibility of mou packing his bags after 3yrs as manager..which successful club in europe does the long term manager thingy? bayern, madrid, barcelona, ac milan, etc. those days are over now - football is about performance & results. no manager would get the luxury SAF/wenger got in that dark era. StarBoard: Yeah but that would be like 30 minutes to game time.giggs is a liability..... valencia is shyte....he's the worst winger in the division. with the amount of game-time he gets, he's not improved. if nani had been getting such minutes under his belt, our wing play would be more productive. yes, we are screwed without carrick but moyes should do the needful & get the deadwood out of the first team. giggs & valencia have not shown anything this season to merit starting for us. Well, I think the boat has sailed on that one.rooney missed our best chance against everton, he got nutmegged by a cross from a teammate. it means he was just standing there like a zombie, he wasn't expecting the cross. how any striker can miss from that distance is mind-boggling. add this miss to the golden miss against cardiff & we have lost 5 points to rooney's stüpidity. I said almost the same thing at the start of the season. His negativity is startling to say the least. Starting Valencia with his limited skill set ahead ofNani is a travesty to say the least. Pushing Giggs at the expense of more mobile players like Anderson is an indictment of his abilities as a manager in England's top-flight.even if he doesn't like nani - what about zaha? he's not injured, he's not suspended. we coughed £15m to sign him & moyes won't even give him some game-time. he was the championship player of the year last season....can zaha play any poorer than valencia? No track record besides a Cup Final and on 4th place finish after 11 years at the helm of Everton. There were better managers suited for the job. We could dispute the Mourinho thing but even Martinez is showing he's 10 times a manager that Moyes will ever be.moyes couldn't beat any big team away from home for 11 years while at everton. martinez did it under 3 months at everton by beating us on wednesday night. it shows the difference between the 2 managers. see how martinez has cleaned off the boring everton & has imposed his own mark on the team. compare to moyes - we lack style & substance. we just hoof it & cross, hoof it & cross. 8 league goals in 7 league games at OT and 5 of those goals are from setpiece tells you all you need to know about moyes. keshi is better than moyes! |
Oghos1: Coogar who would u have chosen if u were in fergie's position at d end of last season!mourinho! |
RSAMAN: only those? But i thought you said people would laugh at you for basic rap, hip hop cannot be just be one person, Turns out it's hip hop they should laugh at in general. By the bold i think you mean biggie and pac took it to the grave.mainstream hiphop is dead, underground hiphop is still growing & very entertaining. who else is there apart from eminem & slaughterhouse? nas/jay-z have forgotten the elements of hip-hop. their last albums were pitiful. mainstream is filled with idiöts now, kanye started well with his debut album but he's become shyte now. lil wayne never had it & the others wouldn't have a career if big/pac/big pun were still alive. Bukato3: Eminem is good, but compares nothing to Nas.Nas (especially early Nas) destroys Eminem lyrically.Illmatic is arguably the greatest hip hop album of all time.Check this out.biggie's ready to die was so much better than illmatic. |
Ogbeche77: the report button is here for a reasonwhich report button? why not just stamp the vermin in the head for starting the fire? many of these posters are frustrated - some have not seen electricity in months and their only way to vent frustration is to come here & start name-dropping. i don't use the report button, i square off with any intruder where i come from & if the vermin mentions my name again he shall get destroyed. |
StarBoard: so coogar, you can't predict until you see the line-up. i wonder why the giggs/valencia lovers are not talking. it's one thing to play giggs in europe, it's another thing to play him in the league. he should just retire this week & spare us his stüpidity at the edge of the box. StarBoard: Worse is his dealings over the summer.keeping rooney was his biggest mistake. if he had followed through what SAF had in mind, özil would have been bought to replace rooney. in the absence of RVP, rooney has shown he does not have the clout to lead this team to victory. He stifled Everton to the point that they started booing him after Wigan beat them 3-nil at Goodison in the FA Cup.he's a negative manager..... moyes values robotic players more than nimble-feet players. moyes would start kuyt & jonathan walters and keep neymar/david silva on the bench. Unfortunately it does not appear he will be going away anytime soon. The morons at our management led by Woodward the penny pincher cannot grow the necessary cajones to sack him.alex ferguson is to blame for that - he singlehandedly brought moyes into the most successful club in britain. the more i think about it, the less sense it makes. why should a club that prides itself in success go after the most unsuccessful club manager in britain? moyes had won nothing when we got him. it's not a similar selection process with SAF who had a reputation before he was signed in 86. this was how liverpool fell under graeme souness too after they were bossing everyone in england & europe in the 80s. the earlier we get rid, the better. |
Ogbeche77: He was banned from the section alongside Hugoboi. the ban has now been reviewed, i hope they will be of good behavior this timeyou know i was minding my business when that lunatic barged into me talking shyte. i dunno why mods don't investigate how these fights start & are so finger-itchy to press the ban button. i am a simple individual but if anyone puts his hand in my mouth, i would tear it apart. tell those malnourished dogs to stay away from me henceforth. my opinion is my opinion - if i say bebe is the best player on the planet - it's my opinion & i'm entitled to it. |
StarBoard: Exactly.david moyes is out of his depth..... i know he has not been helped with the injuries to key players but then his guerilla-type military training caused those injuries. fellaini & giggs in the midfield against everton? yea right. the defeat was inevitable in my own opinion. i remember saying anderson & cleverley should start against everton - they might be light defensively but they would have breached everton's defence. we would concede but we would score goals aplenty too. moyes cocked up the line-up & his subs made no sense. martinez under 3 months has improved everton. moyes has taken a title winning side to the 8th position. i am still surprised he's not been sacked yet. maybe when we don't qualify for UCL & quality players leave, he would be asked to leave. |
RSAMAN: now you're pushing it.i'm done with you - when you learn about the technicalities of lyricism, come back & let's discuss. until then, keep listening to your monosyllabic kool-g-rap. rakim himself said thinks eminem is an icon. that should settle the debate. oh... The rap fans? Does it matter? Just give us the list of morden rappers those fans are feeling right now. Or are they fans of rap who are no fans of any rappers besides eminem? Loleminem & slaughterhouse - they are the only ones left doing it like they should. others are just wackitty wack. mainstream hip-hop is dead. nateevs: You get this all the time. Most of those who believe Em is not god don't have any reasons. Most just say it's my opinion.because most don't even know the amount of work eminem puts into writing his lyrics. they somehow think those words rhyme together by magic. all my years of writing & i still find it difficult to write like eminem writes cos once you choose a particular rhyme scheme, you have to fit in the words that rhyme with it. the skill is extremely difficult. |
purplekayc: who has listened 2 this album? is it as good as recovery?1 million times better than recovery. |
RSAMAN: i like it when i drop a 6 word sentence and your reply is three long paragraphsit's fair to say you know nothing about rap then if scissors, pens & razors is what caught your attention on 3am. the first verse on 3am is better than anything any rapper has written before then. I think inspectah deck's verse from triumph is one of the greatest verses you can ever find today. What do you mean everyone will laugh at you if you start rapping like those cats? Who's everyone, besides your eminem?inspectah deck's verse was superb - aided by the production(beats). the delivery was heavenly but was the verse technical? no it wasn't. canibus' verse on beast from the east is the greatest rap verse ever in the golden age era. Lil waynewhat's this list gotta do with the discourse? another attempt of yours to distract from the crux of the issue. when i said everyone would laugh, i meant the listeners or rap fans. And the guy who said Monster by eminem and rihanna is one of the greatest rap songs ever. Well that ain't a rap song, that's a pop song.unfortunately, he has to cater to his softer fans. i have not listened to that track more than twice. such songs don't appeal to me when there's evil twin rhyme or reason or bad guy. |
The the title on one of the many sites this video was posted was - How one leopard changed its spots ... and saved a baby baboon I tell ya, I am starting to believe we really can learn a lot from Animals.
reminds me of the child that fell into a gorilla's pit in chicago & the gorilla cuddled and protected the child from the others. another child fell in jersey sometime ago & a gorilla protected him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UW0a37me_Xg |
