from rakim's mouth......

"If Eminem was black, he would be next to Mohammed Ali"

that's rakim himself putting eminem in the god-status. watch the video & listen to rakim lauding eminem. our generation should be grateful we witnessed what eminem did with pen & paper.

eGuerrilla: Despite his laudable contributions to the craft, no serious hip hop aficionado ranks enimem #1.

Rakim, Tupac and Nas remain the gold standard, and you know it. These big three remain the Rapper's rapper much like Anita Baker remains the singer's songstress, fact!
even rakim confirms eminem as number one. nas is god's son, 2pac was the most influential, rakim pioneered the game - eminem learnt from them & he has surpassed them.

You're going out of context. Nobody is talking about a guy that has been friend-zoned or not here. We're talking about 2 people in a relationship. Love your woman and care for her-ceteris paribus, she'll submit to you and love you in return. I'm a big fan and believer of Newtown's third law of motion, even in human relationships!
i can only give as much as what i am getting.....if the love/care is not reciprocated, how soon before things fall apart. where was it even written the man must prove himself to get the best of his woman? why can't it be the other way round?

obadiah777: now this is the undisputed king of rap. anyone who has a problem with that can take it up with me
enimem has surpassed the kings, emperors, governors, etc. he is the undisputed rap god. he's sold more with fewer albums & he keeps soaring.

even 2pac & rakim would slap many of y'all for comparing the white boy to them. yes, they pioneered it but eminem has taken it beyond what rakim/pac intended.

the student now knows more than his teachers.

alutacontinua: Loving and caring for your woman doesn't mean being effeminate. They are 2 different things.

I'm surprised I have to tell you that! undecided
so boys that get pushed to the side or who get friend-zoned don't love or care for their girl?

let me print the lamentation of a nice guy.....

i would be surprised if this poor guy hasn't committed suicide yet. he's done everything required but the girl he wanted went for another jerk that would break her heart & when they need a shoulder to cry on, they remember the nice guy.

here: Fact! only I think there is more pressure when two languages are involved.

I started this thread to help show there is a problem hoping some has the answers, you just did.
pressure can only be there if the parties involved allow it. i don't see any problem at all if the parties involved cut off all the 3rd parties & concentrate on completing the task.

here: I know you have your experience but I have tried not to be hard on any tribe and understand I said if they are isolated means I know there is love, but does that stop a mother inlaw's anger from the west whose daugher from the east who hasnt given birth? Show me a childless home they have lived 10 years and I can tell they are either strong faithfuls of any faith or not inter tribe.
Not trying to prove you wrong but can anyone mention 3 problems that can occur and inter tribal marraige is used as an excuse?
I wanted this thread to bring such out so we consider why the problems.
a childless home is the same everywhere. even if you have a couple who married from the same compound, they will be stressed if they don't have a child after 10 years.

until people start looking beyond maps, dots & rivers drawn by colonial masters, things will remain stagnant. if nigeria breaks into 20 parts, there would still be hatred amongst the people within the same entity.
Music/Radio › Is Eminem Really The Rap God? by coogar(op):
eminem is an enigma, something of a shape shifter, a constructor of elaborately self-referential personas whose penchant for self-exploration can often take the form of snide, self-consciously juvenile lyrical play, bracingly bitter tirades or ice grilled hip-hop classicism.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/50/Eminem_Rap_God.png

when he dropped this single "Rap God" off his new album(MMLP-2) some few weeks ago, he finally confirmed his status as the modern shakespeare of hip-hop. the incisive lyricism, delivery & the technique displayed throughout hasn't been seen yet in the entire hip-hop industry. is he really the rap god?

just sit back & enjoy this.....

there's no pain in intertribal marriage.
people just readily use it as an excuse when problem comes. there's more pain in intra-tribal marriages than inter-tribal. as long as there's love between the 2 parties, nothing should make them lose focus.

Family › Re: So, What's Wrong In Choosing Marriage? by coogar:
lynk106: This is completely FALSE.
First of all, a career woman's interest in kids is not any less than an career man's interest in kids. If as a man, your career is more important to you than starting a family, yes, there are women who feel the same way, and rightfully so.
surely, this is trolling.....
what has a man gotta do with this? do men have wombs or fallopian tubes with which they make babies? why would having a child stop any man from pursuing his career? is he the one carrying the baby for 9 months? grin

If as a career man, you are still interested in having a family, the yes, there are also plenty of women who feel the same way, and rightfully so.
this is complete rubbish!
having children does not affect the career of any man except in cases where the man is a single father & that's postnatal period. no man will get a paternity leave before a baby is born.

second of all, you are not a woman so you do not even qualify to be arguing about what women want or what they should want.
You sound like those republican pundits when they start blabbering about women and dictating on how women should live, act and behave etc. Men assuming arrogant expertise in female anatomy and whatnot.
so i have to be a woman to know what is right with the society, how the 2 sexes should inter-relate & foster a harmonious relationship? your propensity to stretch the borders of daftness is peerless.

and lastly, A woman's career is setback by taking time off but she can definitely continue her career. the main reason women have a hard time with careers is due to the fact that the workplace is sexist. For example, USA is one of the few countries in the world that DOES NOT offer paid maternity leave. So, many women who want careers have to delay childbirth, suffer from setback and lower wages partially due to the fact that they took time off to raise children and therefore they fall behind in their careers.
finally, the penny dropped.....
that setback is the reason some women don't even think of having children. they don't want any setback or any factor that would distract them from achieving their career goals so making babies is totally out of it - that's a career woman! you cease to be a career woman the moment you take time off to make babies.

In Northern Europe, the workplace is much accommodating and women have less problems with this. In fact, even the men in a country like Sweden have MANDATORY paternity leave because the society expects the men to partake in the raising of the child. They don't see child rearing as being an exclusively woman's job. Then again, northern European countries like Denmark and Iceland also have female prime ministers. Northern Europe is the most progressive region in the world. Even the educational attainment of their children in a country like Iceland blows the rest of the western world out of the water.
finally - the penny has dropped......
and it didn't occur to you northern europe gave paternity leave because they are fully aware at least one parent must stay at home to bond with the kids in their formative years - contrary to what you people were saying? honestly, your line of reasoning is baffling....

Your line of thought -the s.tupid idea that the sole purpose of a woman's existence is to produce and rear children is the same that caused girls and women to be excluded from schooling and education for centuries. That kept women uneducated and dependent, unable to vote, unable to speak for themselves (hence the plethora of men claiming expertise on women's lives and issues).
you are chatting nonsense as usual...
funny how clueless people just shoot their mouths about the history they know nothing about. women voted in america even before the word feminism was coined. men & women had roles to play. women stayed at home, men risked their lives exploring, fighting wars for democracy you are enjoying today, etc.

was there feminism when women & children were the first to get off titanic as far back as 1912? yet you are talking bullshyte that women were unable to speak for themselves. do you know how many men(geniuses) that perished in the sea so that women/kids could be saved? women voted in wyoming as far back as 1869 - the word feminism wasn't even coined yet so tape it shut, your history knowledge sucks.

Yes, educated/career women are likely to have fewer children (the more educated a society is, the lower the birth rate). I don't see that as a bad thing. There are plenty enough illiterate baby daddys and baby mamas in the USA alone anyway. Don't come on here dictating to us what we are/should be interested in or not interested in.
educated/career women are not likely to have any children at all which was why I said they should be totally avoided. they are mostly not interested in having husbands.

this is how financial times(FT) defined the career woman.... A woman who believes that her career is more important than finding a husband or having children.

Like I said, in the USA (where I live) career women are actually MORE likely to be married than their mates. The reverse was the case in the 50s and 60s when the "domesticated woman" was being promoted. but pls, this is 2013 (almost 2014). get with the times!
then you should provide an empirical evidence that backs this claim. this is a public forum - you cannot just throw conjectures in the air & expect people to swallow it line hook & sinker. besides being more likely to marry is different from being more likely to be happy in the marriage. what is the divorce rate of career women? if it's high, why shouldn't men avoid them?

elampiro: This is where you got it wrong again. How can you say this was the only video clip beamed to the world? In every match, there are talking points at half time, full time and after extra time. Then key highlights are showed and talked about.
shut up your mouth & stop lying......
was it during the talking points at half time, full time & extra time that you also saw roy keane in the final of the 99 champions league final?

If could described this scene from my memory so well and vividly without watching the game again for over 15 years, it's a big shame to you to make two capital errors from the clips you watched over and over yesterday claiming it was Deboer and from a goal kick.
you are a congolese midget.
lies lies & more lies....you described another incident entirely - i told you the incident you described was ronaldo/de boer incident(it's on the youtube clip) then katsumoto said it was another incident that was completely different to what you initially described. davids was not 15 yards behind ronaldo.

Una too dey hype. Both passes are just there, nothing special. Demba Ba is busy running free, Matas pass goes toward where defenders are and boys dey shout "see pass". The best pass there is in Demba Ba trajectory, forget how it looks on TV.
if players make passes like that in every league game, football would be so much better & so enjoyable to watch. any of those passes could have been easily intercepted if the execution wasn't right - leave us alone, let us hype the passes. you are a lover of rugby or jambody football so what do you know?

is this pass also ordinary?

Katsumoto: So if a DM plays the ball backwards to a CB or Full Back who immediately knocks the ball forward 50 yards to find an attacker who beats one defender and scores. We will not count that as a counter attack simply because a DM played the ball back after gaining possession from an opposing player?
except that what you described above wasn't how the move panned out. how can you paint another scenario entirely and then claim it's the same outcome?

a brazilian player intercepted the holland attack & instead of clearing the ball, he passed to dunga. dunga then passed back to a centre back & the centre back then knocked it across to the fullback - these moves nullifies a counterattack. you don't counterattack by knocking back the ball to your own half.

elampiro: You have now run out of lies.
It was Debor. Whenyou were found out, you said it was goal kick.
you are a disgrace to your own self. the only reason you have not deactivated your account is because you lost your decorum during the last civil war in 1970. you lie with impunity & then quickly look for damage limitation.

the counterattack scenario you first painted was that of ronaldo & de boer. you got found out & you quickly switched to the lame attack that had edgar davids in place already in the defence - which is contrary to the 15 yard lie you told us about.

Such is the case when you watch clips from youtube which doesn't show everything. Because the youtude edited clip showed a goal kick before this particular action, you swallowed it whole. Next time don't argue about the match you didn't watch and from which people who saw it that time discussed some talking points.
you are a troglodyte.....
if the clip didn't show davids' position when roberto carlos had the ball, how did you see it? same pictures were beamed all over the world. when carlos passed the ball to denilson, the camera shot was a close shot that excluded edgar davids - how then were you able to see edgar davids was 15 yards away from ronaldo?

elampiro, give up & stop lying. we already know your soccer intelligence is in the pits. you were the only united fan that saw roy keane in the CL final in 99 against bayern - in your effort to prove power in the midfield wins trophies. the only people i pity are the kids who look up to you for inspiration. when will they know you are just a pile of shyte & a toilet brush?

Katsumoto: grin grin grin grin grin
So it was not a normal goal kick, it is now the 'slowest counter attack? grin grin grin grin
with 3 defenders knocking it around at the edge of the box, how isn't that like a goal kick?

From when the first Brazilian touched the ball to when the ball went out, there was 13 seconds. 13 seconds is a slow counter attack?
the backpass from dunga to the centre-half disqualifies that move as a counter-attack. the ball should have travelled forward immediately instead of wasting about 5 seconds amongst the defenders.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 10:39pm On Dec 03, 2013
elampiro: Stop telling lies. You didnt watch the match. You didnt even know such incidence happened. Instead you mentioned deboer after hours of watching irrelevant youtude clips.
you are a pathological liar.....
only a marine spirit can deliver you from lying. in your other statement, you implied davids ran all through the period till he caught up with ronaldo & deliver the tackle. from dayo's photo-shot, you can see clearly david was already in place in the defence even before the pass was made towards ronaldo & he was levelled with ronaldo.

If you saw the match, you shoud know how much Edgar chased backwards before he slowed his run when he was waiting for the pass, then as the pass was made and Ronaldo 'bursted away', Edgar accelerated again. Even your short clip clearly shows Edgar was not in the defence line as Carlos was driving in. From your video, which Man United midfielder is capable of what Edgar did? Only Jones. Carrick was in a similar situation against West Brom and he never saw the back of his man.
you are a numbskull.
ronaldo wasn't even moving at all when the ball was in the possession of roberto carlos. ronaldo was still stagnant & watching the play develop. so who was davids chasing when ronaldo hadn't even started running at all - look at the pics dayo posted & cover your face in shame.

i have told you repeatedly, this isn't facebook

dayokanu: Its common that the Full backs push up and the Defensive midfielder drops into the middle of the CBs

Thats one of the roles of a DM i.e dropping back when the FUll backs are ahead Ronaldo's run beat the CB and Davids as the DM had to make the tackle
katsumoto is seeing a double vision.
the player that intercepted the holland attack at the edge of the box made a backpass to his defender. the defender then passed sideways to his fullback.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 10:17pm On Dec 03, 2013
Katsumoto: Yes it was. The video you provided is incomplete. He held his position so as not to stray offside but that doesn't mean it wasn't a counter attack.
how does this put davids 15 yards behind ronaldo? you are arguing what's not relevant here? elampiro told us davids wasn't even in play at any moment but he raced back from the centre of the pitch, caught up with ronaldo & made the tackle.

was that what happened?

If it wasn't a counter attack why was Davids the last man in the middle and not Stam and De Boer? Where were Stam and De Boer?
the high-line disrupted holland's defence unit. stam & de boer got attracted to the ball & a nice pass was treaded to ronaldo. all this while, davids had stopped running & was in position until he saw the pass to ronaldo & chased after ronaldo.

it wasn't a counterattack - the move was too slow to even be a counter. didn't you see edgar davids pacing about before going for the chase? how's that the same situation as davids was 15 yards behind ronaldo?

you are a capital mumu - i saw the match live on TV & the picture you painted earlier bears no semblance with what happened. the de boer tackle was on the youtube link & it's the closest to what you described - a classic counterattack.

A real match situation will tell you whether the counter attack was from a corner kick or free kick, and the position of Edgar when it all started.
it was a normal goal kick situation that went left of the pitch & then a pass to the middle & ronaldo getting one on one with the goalie. elampiro, my memory is good cos i'm still young. alzheimer's might be affecting your own memory. grin cheesy

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 9:34pm On Dec 03, 2013
Katsumoto: I know Davids well. I am not advocating that Davids was 15 yards behind Ronaldo. I am stating the following
but elampiro claimed davids was 15 yards behind the play & magically appeared from nowhere to stop ronaldo. read his opening statement again.

Davids was well behind Ronaldo when the attack started.
and the ball went sideways before going to the centre where the final pass was made. by then, davids had levelled rigk ronaldo & was even seen pacing around before giving the chase. watch the youtube link again.

2. Being level is not the best benchmark to use here. Its like stating that an opposing number 11 is level with a defending number 3. They may be level but there is great yardage between them. Similar to saying Ribery is level with Ashley Cole.
being level is the best benchmark especially when we were told davids was 15 yards behind ronaldo. the pass was played in the space between davids & ronaldo. they both ran diagonally for the ball, ronaldo had the advantage but he must be precise with shot, davids only needed to distract ronaldo from scoring.

3. There is a Dutch player who is closer to Ronaldo than Davids and another who is slightly ahead of Davids and keeping Ronaldo onside
davids was the closest with the magnitude & the direction of the pass. who else could have given the chase? the defender closer to touch-line?

4. Ronaldo had a HUGE advantage over Davids but Davids managed to catch up.
I remember that move like it was yesterday.
this is irrelevant - davids wasn't 15 yards behind ronaldo. he was at best levelling with him & could have caught ronaldo offside before the pass was made.

Also, how is this man Deboa?
you are a fool - the attack in question wasn't even a counterattack. holland were playing a high line trying to catch ronaldo offside & screwed things up.
