ifyalways: That one na one high hope that is charactarized by continuous fasting and prayer, casting and binding, holy water and anointed oil drinking.wow - that's serious......why are there so many females willing to marry than the males in nigeria? |
ifyalways: 24 years @ Obino? It's too late o. A 26 years old single lady is seen as "old and quarter to expire" in Nigeria today. Waiting till 24 can lead to injury time.lolify stop exaggerating....chics of 28 are still rocking the town in naija with high hopes that one lucky dude would still ring it. |
certified means you have been trained in conflict resolution and the likes, and your clients can rest assured they are not just furnishing you with material for beer parlour gossip.
how do you know what beer parlour gossip sounds like? |
elampiro: Where was Rafael when the power and fast playing Blackburn Rovers led by Aiyegbeni ran amok and tore our midfield to piece in our costly defeat at Old Trafford?and where was the power & fast playing playing blackburn midfield when the powerless & slow midfield of united destroyed them 7-1 at old trafford. |
adebayo201: u r right dude!moyes would take another draw before the game. he's too small-time, what he considers an achievement is beneath every united fan on the planet..... the moment a man utd manager starts thinking a draw with cardiff is good enough then it's obvious he's got no drive to succeed. nikkykay: Where was Campbell & hw many attempts did he make b4 Ode replaced him?nikky of emirates, don't mind him..... i respect arsenal's hustle this season - slowly & slowly they are building the momentum & they are effectively ploughing down mid-table teams whilst moyes has taken a title winning team to the level of west brom. |
montelik: I don't envy Rene if he takes charge at Fulham once Jol is sacked.the same cardiff moyes said he would have taken a draw against before the game just got plummeted by the gunners. it just shows the kinda ambition between the 2 managers. gollum needs deliverance... |
elampiro: Now we are almost on same page. You have admitted that Bale killed us through our midfield. There we need pace and energy.we can never be on the same page - i said any player with pace could have shackled bale. it's not about power. rafael in the midfield could have stopped bale. what has power gotta do with it? cleverley & carrick combo had no power when they dismantled city, chelsea & newcastle(away from home last season). You have failed to notice now that Jones is keeping the ball and passing it so well to the admiration of on lookers. You can't see that because your mind is long made up, or because you would rather see Anderson or anyone else play in that position. Against Leverkusen, Jones did very well in ball control.jones is a disgrace each time he's played in the midfield. he lacks the panache, vision & the skill to be a midfielder. Manchester United Vs Totteham.from the above, it showed we played 4-3-3/4-5-1 against spurs & we got murdered because the combined age of our midfield was close to methuselah's. did it not happen again at west brom when lukaku came on & got a hatrick as a sub? Compare this against Leverkusen when Jones paired a 40 years old Giggs. Clean sheet and low pressure on our defence. Scholes and Giggs were younger last year.leverkusen are a poor side - stop using them as a yardstick. who would compare tottenham side + bale versus a team that conceded 9 goals in 180 mins against united? I want to believe I have made my pint known and want to call it off. Match day.you haven't made nada..... Bye. Post my ram.when rooney's average hits 88%(never mind 90%) we would get you a cow. |
elampiro: 1. United 7-1 victory over Blackburn was one of the matches SAF earmarked Jones as a United future player. SAF must have seen something.that's immaterial - jones was the DM & berbatov gave him a bloodbath & that's contrary to what you told us that jones got his debut DM role at man utd. 2. Old Trafford game against Spurs, was it Giggs and Scholes or Giggs and Carrick? Whichever though, we lost the game.we lost the game because each time bale picked the ball up, he ran through our midfield & none of our midfielders was able to match bale with pace. rafael, anderson, fabio or anyone with pace could have shackled bale on the day - nothing to do with jones. You also appear to miss the point. I have not said Jones is a Scholes or Carrick or Giggs. What I am saying is that, in the absence of good natural midfielders, Jones is bailing us out this period. When they had age to themselves, Scholes and Giggs could dominate a midfield and monopolise possession, but we dont have that now.his future is in the CB....where he can hoof the ball & commentators would say it's a good clearance. in the midfield, proper care of the ball had to be taken.....intercept or win a tackle & play a 5 yard pass & return back to position is what is required. jones had no positioning to intercept & his passing is god awful. EPL has never been this fast and physical, hence the reason we need a ball winner to partner Carrick until things normalize. If Fellaini or Cleverley or Anderson was playing well, I wouldn't recommend Jones.you don't need a ball winner to win the league. chelsea's ball winners have only won it once in the last 7 seasons. 3. On the Totteham game, whther it should have ended 5-2, is not my business. The score was a draw, and Jones has kept our score respectable each time he featured for United in the midfield since last season. I have not the time to pull out his big matches from last season, but I guess City, Chelsea, Madrid and Everton were among.the truth is jones got us in trouble against spurs, de gea had to bail us out several times. tottenham damaged our midfield & won every second ball with jones looking like a deer in the headlights. |
elampiro: Valencia has 7 UCL goals overall. That is decent from the wing.opta rated nani the highest on the day, even much better than rooney with 4 assists. so another myth of yours busted by simple statistics. elampiro: I think one of the reasons Rooney passing accuracy is not so solid is the fact that he is a high passer. He usually make many passes in a match. He hustles and get himself into difficult areas. He doesn't do 'make e no spoil for my hand' by hiding from the ball.he does mostly long passes - most of then from side to side, laying it off for the wingers & running into the box to receive. rooney cannot make any short pass - this was why he wasted the last minute chance against cardiff. his pass to welbeck was a disgrace. May be someone should help me with the website to check these pass stat so that I can see more details.no one would help you as you are looking for what isn't lost. If he passes 72 in a game and gets only 55 right, he will be blamed as a poor passer when another from his position passes 28 and get 24 right. Also a team pattern also contributes. A team playing tikitaka will have players having more pass accuracy, like Swansea.if he completes 55 out of 72 in a game, it means he gave it away 17 times. by the law of average, at least 9 of those 17 puts united's defence into trouble thus increasing the number of chances the opponents get against us. the player that gave it away 4 times is safer with the ball. he's less likely to commit a mistake leading directly to a goal against us. football is about the law of averages. allow many chances against your team & you are very likely to concede a goal. The other day, Leverkusen completed more passes but we beat them mercilessly.united completed more passes than leverkusen. it was 83% to united & 82% to leverkusen. biko, where do you get your statistics? LTV? |
elampiro: CAM: Wayne Rooney, Manchester Unitedso this should make us forget all the 60% pass completion stats he's posted this season? does it not surprise you that ross barkley can pass the ball better than rooney in the hole? £250k/week player has the worst passing accuracy in short passes in the UK - it's a disgrace. |
elampiro: 79%? source.rooney's average this season is 79%. he's never been a good passer of the ball. actually, he does more long passes better than short passes and the man in the hole must be able to tread short passes on the edge of the box to his centre-forward. Dropping deep doesn't mean one has to be accurate, it might also mean some distraction.dropping deep means running from a high pressure zone to a low pressure zone. who bothers with rooney's passing when he's beside carrick doing tiki-taka? opponents are happy to let united keep the ball in those area so passing is very much easier there. elampiro: 1. The 6-1 win is not relevant to this argument because Jones was playing in our midfield possibly the first time. He was not experienced and we lost a man.jones had played in the DM position plenty of times for blackburn even before united signed him. he was the DM when berbatov drank his blood in the 7-1 massacre of blackburn in 10/11 season. 2. If you could only mention one match from all the matches Jones played last season, then he did marvellously well. It means he lost only against Chelsea, according to your post. I remember we drew against West Ham and Spurs. I dont know the Arsenal match you are talking about because we won one and drew one against Arsenal. In April we drew 2-2 against West Ham in an away fixture for us. To me that was a fine result considering it was a run in period and some games give you real headache. Old Trafford: Man United 2 Totteham 3, No Jones W'Hart Lane: Totteham 1 Man United 1 with Jones.yes let's compare the old trafford game with midfield of scholes/giggs(combined age of 100 yrs) to the white hart lane game, shall we? United could have gone two goals up if an obvious penalty won by Rooney was awarded. Then a late mistake by goalkeeper got Spurs a lucky draw.keep lying to yourself - spurs destroyed man utd's midfield. de gea kept the scoreline respectable in one of his best performances ever for united. de gea kept pulling out world class saves here & there. spurs should have won the game 5-2. |
elampiro: First of all, did you promise a ram? in what condition? Hope you have not gone to modify the post.rooney's overall stat this season is 79% passing accuracy. he's one of our worst passers of the ball. considering the fact he drops deep & plays more in low-pressure zones, it's a disgrace moyes could even think of playing him in the hole. |
salsera: Haba a spousal visa in 4weeks ke!!wait a minute - is kayus a student in the UK or a visitor? if he's a visitor - he should stay where he is & invite his girlfriend to nigeria for the wedding. if he comes here hoping to marry with a visitor's visa, then a medium term prison sentence awaits him. i gave the advice on the premise that he's a legitimate student in the UK. |
elrony: Lol...coogar I wan chop isi-ewu ram peppersoup....better give elamps the ram...if elampiro has any proof, you would expect him to post the fraudulent write-up he read where rooney suddenly posted 97% passing accuracy. rooney with the first toüch of a räpist is too technically crude to keep possession. elampiro: Our biggest defeat and most embarrassing play this season was 1-4 loss to Man City. Phil Jones was absent. If he had been around and we ended with a draw or a narrow loss or win, some guys would have been betting how the scoreline would have been better with another player taking his place.this is another dubious attempt to pull wool over the eyes of united fans on this thread. jones has lost us more points in the midfield than any other midfielder we have got. he epitomises what any young midfielder should never aspire to be. it seems you dunno some of us still have the memory of jones stinking the whole joint with his appalling performance in the midfield. his 25-min mission to stem the tide of our biggest derby defeat ended in a disaster. he was a substitute DM & we conceded 3 more goals under his watch to hand city 6-1. jones quickly followed up his show of shame again when his defensive midfielder disgraceful job allowed athletic bilbao to destroy us at old trafford - i won't even talk about his deer in the headlights performance that eliminated us from the champions league group against fc basel in 11/12. last season was worse, we couldn't beat spurs & west ham as jones produced some of the worst midfield performance in the history of man utd. he was decapitated by chelsea @ old trafford as mata tore him apart....arteta completed the gangräping @ the emirates with jones looking lost & allowing walcott to take the piss @ our defence. |
elampiro: Where is Coogar sef, rooney's overall passing accuracy in the league this season is still below 80%. that write-up you have read is fraudulent. |
elampiro: 1. The only way we can reach an agreement about the stat comparison between Val and Nani is if we can know hom many league matches Val started in the RB. How many times he was forced to drop to RB from the right wing.valencia - 43 assists in 15,000 mins luis nani - 57 assists in 9,000 mins. unless you are saying valencia has played 66 full matches as a RB, there's no basis for any comparison. nani is infinitely more productive than valencia, even ashley young is infinitely more productive than valencia. 2. When you say Rafael and co score from the RB, lets have the start. You will see they probably score 1 goal in 17 league start.they score, they assist....the RB position is an excuse. leighton baines created the most chances last season from crosses, he's a full back just like when valencia plays there so it doesn't really stop valencia from creating if not scoring. 3. In the years you mentioned, if we had a ball winning midfielder we should have done better. However, our case was better than now because our backline was stronger with Ferdi and Vidic younger, then Brown and Oshea were still around. So any weakness in the midfield was less noticeable, couple with the fact that once Scholes and Carrick gains possession they could hold it for some good time. All these are lacking today and we are chasing our opponents around our box like school team.we had ball winners in scholes/keane in 03/04, 04/05, 05/06 and won 0 league title & 0 champions league. chelsea have never lacked ball winners in their midfield in the last 10 years, they have only won the league title once in the last 7 years 4. So Chelsea decided to finish 6th to pursue the UCL they were probably the least favourite at the quarter final stage? I beg I wan sleep.yet they beat barcelona hands down - 10 men for more than 50 minutes & they held fort & even scored a last minute goal via torres. how did your excellent united side fare against barcelona in 2009 & 2011?? ![]() |
elampiro: Valencia should be scoring from the number 2 position? Even if he were to be scoring from there, how can that ever equal Nani's goals from the regualar attacking positions.you have started with this blue font again - if you get slammed by spambot, don't go screaming to koffi annan. rafael/alves/zabaleta/ have all scored from the RB position. even if valencia doesn't score as many as nani, how come his assist tally is way lower than nani's despite playing 6,000 league minutes more than nani? that's 56 league matches head start. 2. Like it, hate it, Jones is the only midfielder winning balls for us in the midfield. I believe our major problem in the midfield is the inability to disposes the opponents. That has been the problem since 2008/9. It was worsened when Fletcher fell ill and Anderson lost his marking sense.we have won the title in 10/11 & 12/13. we failed to win it in 09/10 by drogba's offside goal & 11/12(last kick of the season) without having a ball winner in the team. the importance of a ball winner is the same as a fish needing a bicycle. 3. Chelsea finished 6th that year because they were poor. They were not even sure of winning the UCL, hence the need to finish top 4chelsea weren't poor - they prioritised their season & roman went for what he felt he needed the most. he wanted the champions league more than the league. chelsea were poor & they won FA cup & champions league - united were so good that season & they won NOTHING!!!! |
Kayusfity: Abeg can I marry a uk citizen within 6months and claim citizenship within few years??yes, you can..... just do it the legit way. if you want to remain in britain, love a british woman with all your heart & take her to court for your wedding. you would get a spousal visa about 4 weeks later & you now have to wait 5 years(it used to be 2 years - no thanks to some fools that defrauded the system in thousands of sham marriages) before that visa qualifies you for ILR(indefinite leave to remain) - a green card equivalent in the US. just so you know, your spousal visa can let you work, travel out of the UK & back as you please as long as you don't spend more than 90 days consecutively out of the UK. just do your thing the legit way & you should be fine. |
elampiro: Valencia played as right back too. Then Nani has played in the middle. Put these into consideration.that's the same position baines, alves, zabaleta are earning their stripes. if he's not scoring, he should be assisting.....that excuse is worn-out. Jones is not trash, you have failed to see him improved.he's super-trash. what does jones offer us......he's 8/10 as a centre-half, 6/10 as a right back & 4/10 as a midfielder. you think putting him in the midfield to destroy should be lauded? tackling is not a skill - it's a reactive action to nullify a mistake that has been made either by poor positioning or a silly loss of ball possession. any idïot can tackle on the pitch - i pay attention more to how the ball is taken care of after the tackle is won than the tackle itself. elampiro: If you knew what position Chelsea finished in the EPL, you would understood what I mean. They were not good, but their Caterpillar football helped them triumphed over supposed superior teams at the time.they finished in that position because they concentrated on europe more than the league. they rested their best players for europe & this is why they finished 6th. had they been eliminated earlier in europe, there's no way any chelsea side under roman can finish below the 4th position. |
@ elampiro, chelsea didn't overpower bayern in that final. chelsea played like kittens & were too defensive. their first corner was after muller's goal in the 89th minute or so.... bayern had more possession, more territorial advantage, more chances created, etc. saying chelsea overpowered bayern is like saying arsenal overpowered united in 2005 FA cup final. |
elampiro: Valencia has 7 UCL goals overall. That is decent from the wing.is a winger meant to be scoring or providing? what about their stats in the premier league? valencia(18 goals, 43 assists in 15,148 league minutes) & nani(25 goals + 57 assists in 9,418 league minutes). numbers don't lie, bro. nani is more productive!!! Against Leverkusen, Valencia was far rated than Nani in the major sports reporting websites.yet again, debatable.... a single match does not define who's better than who? Sentiment apart, Jones has bailed us out from being overrun in the midfield than anyone else.jones is trash. |
elrony: Lol ..well IMHO cleverley aint no better than fellaini shamiles better...... we have thrashed that topic already. fellaini only outscored him in the attacking third cos fellaini mostly played behind a striker at everton. |
elampiro: Jones has been our best midfield player this season. You guys won't accept it because it is no his natural position.jones & valencia are the worst players @ united currently. when jones is not playing as a centre-half, he's clueless. valencia has not beaten a marker in 2013. he nearly missed his tap-in sef - the post assisted him. nani should be starting on the right. who else can finish off teams like this? https://i.minus.com/i3EXLKhMgX5ik.gif https://i.minus.com/iJYcqmuReF3Rl.gif |
elrony: Carrick is sorta pivotal....and he's still better than everybody in dat MFhe's fitter - not necessarily better. however, being fit or not missing games is also a skill these days. of what use is a skilful player that is perennially injured? so in that wise, carrick is the best. after carrick comes cleverley(slightly cos he's fitter than anderson). fellaini has not yet shown promise so the jury is out on him. |
Hugoboi: Used to be our best midfielder is more like it. Dude is fat AF. Mobility is zero. Needs to reinvent himself. Right now, he's just a waste of space.anderson & cleverley are our most mobile midfielders. the others are just statues. carrick never moves & fellaini is a statue. |
Hugoboi: 100% pass completion in how many games! Abeg!!!!! Stats can hype And for the world. Truth remains that he is way off the United standard. The Anderson of today is a far cry from the beast we supposedly signed from Porto.is anderson the only player with limited appearance in europe? how come he clocked 100%? anderson is our best midfielder bar carrick when he's fit. it's just that he's not been lucky with injuries. |
ileobatojo: I bet it will see enough.it won't.... You're going round and round in circles now. My point, I believe is clear.argument while driving me? 3 quick slaps as we wait for the traffic lights would knock her back to her senses. who dare argues with a komodo dragon like myself? na yam? |
ileobatojo: Oh really? So if you are observing people from afar having a heated argument, you wouldn't be able to tell?you seem to think the CCTV follows the journey of each car, it doesn't. it would only show 2-4 secs as the car speeds past the cameras.........till another 1-2km when another camera picks their car. it will not see much. As to who initiated it, it doesn't make any difference in any way, shape or form. As to who was being harassed, the woman has already said she was harassing him for his bank card. Why do you need cctv to prove that?so if she was the aggressor & the one that got herself distracted, how did the man contribute to the distraction? besides, if the woman didn't stop the car engine, the truck would have seen her rear lights at 4am & the accident would have been avoided. she sat in the car, killed off her engine & was lounging while parked in a spot she shouldn't have been in the first place. it's entirely her fault as a driver to have missed road signs. one could self-distract herself without needing a company. |
ileobatojo: Oh, only cctv which is present in every nook and cranny of London.but CCTV won't prove if the argument was heated or not. it wouldn't prove who initiated it & who was being harassed about his own bank card. |
elampiro: So in what formation will you play Anderson? Anderson played as 10 on Wednesday. If you were to drop him to CM, what will happen to Fellaini and Cleverley? Also, Andeson has been poor in winning balls.anderson & cleverley as the pivot. the number 10 roles belong to shinji kagawa. each time he's played there, we have looked deadly. every attack looked promising. |
ileobatojo: After carrying on a heated argument.the woman's statement....the only other witness is now deceased. how do we know for sure she's speaking the truth? who else was there to corroborate her story? would you drop anyone off a busy motorway as dangerous as this one? https://i4.mirror.co.uk/incoming/article1950647.ece/ALTERNATES/s615/Queues-on-the-clockwise-stretch-of-the-M25-1950647.jpg freecocoa: Do the needful na please.what's the needful? ![]() |
