Bruv, that's a one-off. I'm talking about the high rollers and big spenders who do it on weekly basis. These yahoozee ninja don't spend their money - they swipe everything. Yo they buy out the whole club n do champagne bath all the time. I went to uni with tons of naija rich and elite kids. I don't want to go into details but I went to uni with at least 2kids whose pops are current Northern govs. And I used to spend the whole weekend in clubs back in the day, till i left that lifestyle in 2011.
it's not possible for anyone to be burning £££ on a weekly basis, you would soon get a call from the old bill asking you to explain how you came across such money. i was simply talking of the spending power of naija spoilt kids when they come to london - these boys don't shy away from spending stacks.

The other big spenders are mandem on the food thing. For every one "Alakija" - there are 50-100 yahoozee lords spending stupid in the club, trust me
i wouldn't know about what profession these guys do. yahooze lords sound like you are unsure. how do you know what they do for real?

jackbauersballs: Lol
Matalan and Primark are exactly the same.

If Next is a high end store, then my grandmother is a virgin.

You are an obvious freshie.

If you are around central London this afternoon, come down Euston Road to Regent's place where I work.

You can either get off at Warren Street Station, or Great Portland Street.

I am willing to delay my lunch time to coincide with whenever you get here....let me take you out to Lunch
matalan & primark are exactly the same thing. next, debenhams, m&s, etc are in the mid-level. selfridges & harrods are the high-end shops where one can run into bankruptcy!

200k ? Damnn he gatts the money though no biggie. Its just when I see university students spending their parents money like water. undecided
it depends on their pockets....
those rich fulani kids are utterly minted. one girl i used to check out then never used a bank. she stacks 50 pound notes like people pile up CDs or DVDs. her monthly allowance is about £30k per month.

jackbauersballs: He got busted last night though for fraud...
grin grin
shouldn't he be arrested? a 23-year old spending what most families don't earn in 7 years in a club on one night? he has not committed any fraud though, met police are just envious of him - he's a forex trader and he's self-made!
You lot need to stop lying. Those who buy out clubs are the naija yahooze uncles, and food-shotters on the roads. Quick peez n spending stupid. Rich naija kids aren't about that life. They'll go broke after spending the allowance their parents gave them.
They're not about that life!
i was in one club in picadilly when one alakija boy was around, he spent close to £30k in one night - he's a naija boy and he's utterly minted! rich kids from naija spend cash when they have to - forget that your talk they are not about that....that's exactly what they epitomise!

in the club?
i have heard of a city trader that spent £125,000 on a bottle of champagne. his total outlay that night alone was more than £200,000.

there are black british people so the colour of skin is not the issue.

50calibre: Looool Theresa May has no chance in hell of being PM, not in this life. She is one of the most hated politicians in Britain.

If its Boris, I agree but Theresa? Hell no. If she harbours any ambition of being PM, then she is highly delusional.
who would vote for theresa may?
mikel obi has a better chance of becoming the prime minister than theresa may. her fellow brits can't stand her.

texaco1: you guys are forgeting that last year events isnt the same as this year.there is a growing call for tougher immigration rules folloing the killing of a uk soldier by two uk born nigerians.they are going to rope all this in.uk will carry out this policy, and believe me there isnt much that nigeria can do to retaliate.
lib dem and labour would piss on the policy at the parliament. i would try and watch PM questions at 12 to see if this issue would be brought up today.
Politics › Re: UK High Commissioner Explains The £3,000 Visa Bonds by coogar: 10:22am On Jun 26, 2013
bjdon: People here's some thoughts on this from the UK:

1: This policy (if we can even call it that) is being pushed by Theresa May, the Home Sec who has ambitions to be PM if the Conservatives loose in 2015. She needs to raise her profile with the right wing press and the conservative Party.

2: Since the announcement on Sunday (In only 1 major newspaper) no govt figure has come out to support the plan.

3: The British need trade with 3rd world as the EU is stagnant at the moment and any thing that could impact that trade will never see the light of day.

With all of the above I really doubt if this policy will ever be implemented. The current govt here have a habit of talking big but delivering little (Kind of like GEJ's administration smiley ) Let's relax and watch how things unfold but kudos to the FG for firing a warning shot at them. Trust me that's the only language the British understand.
there are thousands of human rights group lying in wait to attack the policy. i believe it's just hot air. this time last year, the issue of bounty hunter was brought up. till date, i have not heard of anyone caught via bounty hunters.

nigerians can relax!

bakynes: I know they complain abt the EU countries flooding in to take up jobs and other benefits bt what ve they done so far abt it? Nothing bt they are quick to change immigration rules that doesn't favour the non-white nations
they are doing a lot about that - UK wants out of EU. that debate has been going on for a month now. the romanians are everywhere these days taking their jobs and putting a huge strain on the NHS.

bakynes: If you have lived in the UK, the city of London especially, you will come to understand that they are fed up with black faces especially Africans. They rant over the radio almost everyday complaining of foreigners which we Africans an Jamaicans know they are referring to black immigrants.
that's not true....
they rant more about EU countries flooding into their country to work for the highly attractive minimum wage in britain.

bellong: The bolded is what I have been trying to explain and not whether somebody did it or not. Like I said earlier on, from Christian perspective, having a relationship with God is paramount in any thing we do. The relationship and guide we get from Him in our daily lives does not exclude the issue of marriage and intimacy in marriage.

The easiest way to know is to be sincere and ask questions from God. He is the maker of the person in question, He has his manual and plans for life. He will reveal everything in darkness. The spirit of God can search the inward part of the belly to expose every hidden things. I have tested that on many issues of life including marriage without intervention of any pastor.
Thank you
but many have done this with fasting and praying and still got their hands burnt! i think we over-depend on God too much. he's given us all that is necessary to put ourselves out of any imminent danger.

5 sensory organs, limbs, a functional brain, etc are enough to navigate us from damaged goods. i know fornication is a sin but how does one become so sure the one you are about to sign a life-contract with is what she says she is?

if you work as a banker, do you just accept any document from a stranger based on blind faith? do you just employ people based on blind faith? do you just give out loans to applicants based on blind faith? why is marriage different?
Family › Re: What Other Means Do We Use? by coogar: 9:40am On Jun 26, 2013
deols: What would God want? Why does He call fornication a sin?
i'm sure God would understand why test-driving is imminent. humans have grown to be more dishonest than they were 2000 years ago.

You can't be thoroughly religious nor give a religious view if your actions are not directed by faith. Faith is the base on which religiosity is built. That is why we pray and believe they would be answered.
to be perfectly honest, i don't even have a problem to those who choose to be celibate before marriage. my gripe is with those who kiss and handle and then point fingers at those who engage in pre-marital sex!

that to me is world class hypocrisy!

nigeria should also initiate a pilot scheme that would affect a minority of the british travellers. all those white men that look like perverts, serial killers, drug addicts, etc should be made to pay £20,000 bond. our own scheme would not affect every british traveller as well, just the ones that are high-risk!

finito!

deols: @Coogar,
You should put in mind that I gave my opinion as a Muslim. Having the real act of sexual intercourse isnt as grievous as lusting after somebody. Fornication must be discouraged in every way possible. It is one of the great sins.
that's the crux of the issue.
fornication is fornication in the eyes of God. one is not greater than the other. the man that carried out his heart desires and the coward that cannot carry out the same heart desire are the same. the intent is the key!!!

I agree with you. Every sane person would be concerned. Unfortunately, this thread has not helped in providing a way out. Fornication is just impractical.
blind faith is not practical as well.......i am starting to think this issue might be one of the reasons the divorce rate has skyrocketed in nigeria. people marrying with their eyes closed without knowing what they are getting into.

God has given me 5 sensory organs and a pënis. i intend to use these resources to get myself a tested and trusted partner that i would live it for the rest of my life without hiccups. to the people who want to marry out of word of mouth, i salute y'all!

what's istikhara?
divine counsel.
thank you....

babyosisi: When we lived in the UK my best friend from Botswana had an 18 month old
One day while I visited and was helping her change the diapers while she baked,I noticed the little girl had no vahginal opening
The opening below the urethra( the pee pee hole) was completely sealed
I couldn't believe my eyes
I called the mother over who was just about 19 yrs old over and told her something was wrong here
Strange enough the doctors in their country where the girl was born and her GP in the UK never picked that up
Neither did the parents
They eventually went to the doctor and the baby had surgery afterwards and we visited at the hospital
What I don't know was if she had the other female organs like Fallopian tubes, uterus and ovaries
I didn't get to see what the surgeons did either.

PureOhio: Question to you and all; how do you know if a woman is a damaged good I.e capable of carrying your child, before marriage?
encourage the process of fertilization, put a ring on it the moment she misses her period. get married before the baby bump is obvious.

happy married life!
