if we buy muller, rooney would drop to the midfield yet again. he would likely take mata's position or something weird. surprisingly, our defence has been awesome. i was shocked when gary neville said we have the best defence in the league since November last year. only 23 goals conceded in the last 30 league games or so.

we haven't even conceded any in the league this year......with blind in the defence and without de gea? blind has been awesome in the defence which goes to show brains beat brawns any day. it's all about positioning and interceptions. i still want us to get a great centre-half though but the attack is the biggest issue now.

the centre forward position is our biggest need now. we have a lot of players that can play as a wing forward. muller is a huge upgrade on pedro.

it took david silva just 10 seconds into the game to create the first chance? why was that? cos as soon as silva turned fabregas 180 degrees, aguero was already running towards city's box while keeping himself onside. if that was rooney, he would run towards silva instead of running into the opponent's box. think about it........1 touch in the penalty box in 90 minutes and that 1 touch came in the 90th minute. how bad can it be for a striker to have one touch in the box.

you can gas up every player in a squad you have chosen.....then you save it!
anytime you wanna play, just go to your controller settings and choose the file you have saved and your edited team would come forth. it's pretty easy.

When I read that Busquets is the best DM ever, I thought that was one of those urchins from the Barca and Bayern threads trying to force feed us his assertion, not until I realized it was coogar of all people.
There's a fine line between admiration and hyping. Busquets is good no doubt, but the lad isn't nowhere near the artistry and football intelligence of Patrick Viera, Claude Makalele, Roy Keane, or even the Redondo, Rijkaard and Mattaus who all excelled in the position in their heyday.
The role of the defensive midfielder hasn't changed, it is still all about providing shield for your back-line with a lot of emphasis placed on a well timed lunges, interceptions and transition of play.
Busquets didn't reinvent the role as you claim, he is only playing to his strength - ability to read a pass, intercept and make a simple pass to a team mate whilst protecting his limited skill set - tackling and robustness.
He is also favored to be playing for teams whose styles of play doesn't require much tackling from a DM. The Spanish and Barca teams deploy a high pressing approach to their game, a strategy that places a big onus on players pressing all over the pitch.
IMHO he's not a complete DM and can never be the best ever.

that is because the old school players relied much more on physicality than common sense like busquets does. add up the red cards the old school DMs copped in their careers and compare to busi's career and you would get your answer. busi re-invented the role of DMs. it's all about intelligence, positioning and the ability to pass the ball accurately when trapped in tight corners. apart from xavi, busi is the best passer in the whole of spain for the past 5 years.
