chamotex: He is vying for the same position as Rooney and I cant see Rooney getting benched.rooney will soon get crocked - besides, there are many games in a football season. i just hope we win the next european game.....cop 12 points and let the kids play the last 2 games so the senior boys can concentrate on the league! |
the only man of dignity left in nigeria to lead us is buba marwa |
chamotex: It might be difficult for Kagawa to get back into this teamhe would get back to the team but the problem is the defensive side of his game! could kagawa have neutralised arteta the way rooney did on saturday? with a more solid midfield partnership, kagawa can play at the tip without really doing any defensive job! i can't wait to have smalling/jones back into the team! |
SailorXY: it's really hard not to reply you, but i'll do my best this time because no matter what I say, it won't fetch you outta your self-induced dilerium. Arsenal was beaten fairly, I didn't see the game & i heard United played poorly, the scoreline flattered Arsenal still, but many of 'em fans ain't raising eyebrows. So what are you smokin'?1025 is a rëtard - don't feed the troll! |
dayokanu: Can you also remind us how many goals Henry scored in the French league that season when he scored 7 in the CLthat's irrelevant - a player won a league title, won the young player award in france, scored 7 champions league goals(2nd only to del piero), got a call up in the french national squad and ended up scoring 3 goals for his country plus winning the world cup and you say he wasn't established? to even compound your problems, you compared him to wilshere, walker? surely, you must be trolling or winding people up! dayokanu: His talent was even questioned after the Juventus Fiascovan der sar's talent was questioned in serie a.......torres' talent is being questioned on a daily basis, the questioning of talent has nothing to do with this. the media would always spout nonsense..........but henry's achievements as at 98 is what most players are praying to achieve! he won a world cup, his 7 goals in elite europe got monaco to the semis for feck's sake!!!! |
dayokanu: Winning Young player of the year doesnt make you established. Just like Kyle Walker, Jack Wilshere who won the EPl versions latelywalker and wilshere never won a league title neither did they play in a world cup scoring 3 goals...... henry in 98 was like rooney/ronaldo in 06/07! if your memory fails you, mine hasn't - henry was the 2nd highest goal scorer in 97/98 champions league with 7 goals! i ask again - how more established are we talking about? |
dayokanu: Was Pele also an established player in 1958henry had won the young player of the year in the french league before france 98, he had a deadly partnership with ikpeba in monaco and this was when the french league was very decent - it was because of this achievement aime jacquet invited to him to the squad and he did not disappoint - so i ask, how more established do you want him to be? |
dayokanu: Theo Walcott also made England squad in 2006 means he was established?henry was france's highest goalscorer in france 98, how more established do you want him to be? |
Nonnytex: Dis has nothing to do with d topic. Pls dnt jump into conclutnshut your damn mouth, you inscrutable nuisance! speak to me only when you are spoken to! bamboke: But what if we don't mind taking care of the mother but the shit comes from the younger ones who are old enough to be married but are not working and they feel their brother owes them, despite fending for them till he got married? They spread lies among themselves and to their mother toowell - this is africa - you should have factored all these before uttering the words "i do"! its a culture clash - igbo boys usually have a chip on their shoulders and as far as your brother in law is concerned, he feels he can do whatever he likes in his brother's house...........he would another 6 yrs to understand the house belongs to you as well....the easiest way to gain their respect is to fill everywhere up with children - you would be surprised how things would change for the better..... |
I'm neither hypocritical nor ashamed of my origin rather you are someone who is hasty to jump into conclusions and generalisation. Did the OP ever talk about having or not having children talk less of not having a male child? Did she ever mention having her mother in law reside with her? Rather she complained about staying very close to her in-laws and interference from them and eventually, the in-laws avoiding her. Any sensible nigerian on going through her post can clearly see that this is something obtainable all over this country and not limited to a particular tribe or region.
but your eagle eye missed the part where she said the brother in law is disrespectful and the parents stopped coming to the house? if she has a male child, she would have mentioned it. i reply to posts based on the information i have - if she then comes back to add more, the fault lies with her for not providing enough information about herself! that being said, i won't be surprised the issue here is the common male child syndrome in eastern nigeria! only shameless hypocrites would deny this issue does not exist in the east! |
bashr8: shut up what do you know. how man igbo families have male children to start with? ignorance will not kill all of you.nothing can brak or shake the igbo family , its for better or worse so carry your rubbish nollywood perception bad belle and go and think of how to fix yoruba marriages crashing everyday over silly things.you're a consummate rëtard! i can dig up 5000 articles on this subject alone written by people who are more igbo than your pompous adulterated igbo genes you carry. of course, not all igbo families would have male children because that is science - the question is, do the women in such families command the respect of their in-laws? are they regarded as wives? why are you ashamed of your tradition, you putrescent swine? don't be embarrassed - this can only stop if its aired in the open and discussed, you hypocritical twit! http://emmyboy.hubpages.com/hub/the-importance-of-a-male-child-in-africa |
debosky:i think santos actually did well against valencia than ashley cole did. if you scour most of the united blogs since saturday, die-hard united fans are bashing valencia's impotency against santos! apart from the few times valencia got away from him, he was pretty much comfortable in that match! he's only a scapegoat because he swapped shirts with rvp - if he had done it in the tunnel, nobody would have known what transpired between van persie and santos! the major problem is not the starting line up or what happened during the game - it was what happened during the summer - letting alex song go to barcelona has weakened arsenal and selling your best player to a rival club is a damaging blow unless wenger and the arsenal board do not see united as their rivals these days... |
i know some inscrutable beings would come here and make false claims. why are some people ashamed of their own tradition? i even posted a link where an igbo woman agreed the importance of a male child in the igbo community! @ agoha_viv, don't be ashamed of your igbo culture......what i have stated here is clearly the truth.....this woman would not be regarded until she gives her inlaws a grandson! all those megedefegede about yoruba mothers spending eternity with their sons does not disprove the average igbo inlaws don't crave for male kids.....why are you folks such a hypocritical lots? |
jidegirl12: Yeah I thought as much that's what you'd say..... I've used all iPhones and unfortunately I never used the voice prompt ever, isn't that something? I gave my kid the 4s and just so you know Siri talks for everything here o, answer my questions, weather, text messages, and so on....not just the home button ,..k?press the home button for 2 secs and siri will run towards you like a messenger! |
tpia1: i think he's brazilian.you thought wrong - he's nigerian to the core! |
kingoflag: Arthur Nzeribe was NEVER the richest man in Nigeria. Maybe richest man in his little hamlet of oguta, but never of the whole country. Like a lot of fraudsters, political jobbers, and crooks before him, the childless Nzeribe (who single handedly destroyed Nigeria with his Association For Better Nigeria) is a lot of mouth. Typical.arthur nzeribe? nzeribe wouldn't be in the top 100 of the richest nigerians...... |
jidegirl12: How? You mean iPhone 4s? Educate me pls?voice to text on apple started about 12 months ago on iphone4s.....and it's not siri! siri is just the personal assistant that talks to you when you hit the home-button for few seconds! |
he's the richest nigerian by a country mile but he has no business in nigeria..... |
advocate666: You are talking to me as if I am concerned or interested in the well being of nigeria. I am not.you are hopelessly deluded! pazienza: Biafra our land, was invaded by nigeria.Asika the then igbo administrator of the east central state after the war, told igbos that he was not there to do our bidding but that of those who put him there. The situation have not changed.so what do we do to the likes of pius anyim, okadigbo, ken nnamani and adolphus wabara who have all dined with the devil(nigeria)? are they considered bastards by biafrans or heroes? |
coded guy: Ol boy, which golden egg did these geese lay at arsenal in 8years I hope u aint talking about trophies.-cesc -adebayor -nasri -rvp -alex song -kolo toure -aleksander hleb -mattieu flamini -gael clichy imagine what these players would have achieved together if they were not sold like white rams? |
slimyem: ^^As much as you are trying to make this seem like a tribe/culture thing,i still can't see it as the issue.that's the reason for the irrational behaviour.... Or is her childlessness why they come to eattheir son's house...... Is it why they expect their son to be responsible for their needs? Is that why they stopped coming to her house altogether?they are africans.....they expect their son to take care of them! who knows how many of their properties they sold to train their son? i don't really see any big deal in parents expecting their son to take care of them - yes, the guy lost his job along the line and the parents should be considerate - but the point still stands! |
slimyem: She has just being married for a year and you think this is the issue?promixity to the family means shyte.....if she likes, let her stay in planet pluto....you cannot separate an igbo woman from her son! they share a common bond....this an excerpt from an article i read some years back concerning the igbo culture Let us start from the moment a woman gets married. Have you listened to our fathers pray during traditional marriages? All you hear is, “you shall have Okereke and Okarafor…Iseeee”. This is the number one proof that the girl child is seen as nothing in the Igbo culture. The woman gets into her husband’s house only to start praying for a male child due to the pressure she gets, even from her own mother. Your in-laws agree that you are well settled in your husband’s house only when you have a male child. in short, read the whole article and educate yourself on how it works in eastern nigeria..... http://www.nigeriafilms.com/news/13124/20/the-igbo-woman-and-her-plight.html one year is enough to get these in-laws jittery and a woman is not considered a wife until she bears a male child in the east! |
advocate666: My brother, the question you ask is exactly the question your oppressors want you to ask.the enemies! I would have gone into explaining to you why no igbo governor or senator or any other fake leadership position could make the igbo nation better but I just want to ask you a question in return to help you think clearer.simply put - you have no explanation! the nigerian problem is not inter-tribal wars even though the people in charge always make it to look so. the problem we have is the elite versus the non-elite! During the second WW, Germany invaded and occupied france. The occupied territory of France was doing better than the free area. Logic would have stated that free France join those under German occupation in other to experience the same prosperity. But NO! The French resisted. Tell me why my brother?this is irrelevant! nigeria has not been invaded by foreign forces - the people causing this untold hardship are nigerians like us - most of them are neighbours and yet they don't care if we all die in acute poverty whilst they transfer vast amount of dosh into their foreign accounts.... While you are at it, tell me why every nation of ethnically similar people in the whole world has always clamoured for independence from others no matter their economic situation.these nations clamouring for independence do not have our type of greedy leaders. obj was president for 8 yrs, if the solution is really disintegration, obj should have turned the south west into abu-dhabi by now by the virtue of him being from that region......but there was more poverty in the southwest when obj was the president than it ever was! same can be said of yaradua and all the past leaders - they are mostly concerned about their own tummies - they don't care about the populace! It is not always about economy. Pride in a country you can call home is very important. Dignity of a people is so important that even the united nations recognise the right to self determination irrespective of economic or socio political situation.the igbo pride led to the death of millions in the late 60s......of what essence is pride that leads to genocide or the slaughter of innocent souls? do people never learn? Economically, Scotland is stronger inside the UK than outside it. They have their own parliament and even have Scots in the Parliament in London. Heck, the last british Prime minister was a Scot. Tell me my brother why they are holding a referendum for independence?i can see how excellent the republic of ireland are doing economically - are they not economically better than china and germany put together since their independence? be deceiving yourself with your cöck and bull theory - even if you break nigeria into 36 countries, you will not find the solution until we get rid of those gluttonous politicians who are bent on milking the country dry solely for their own personal use! |
bamboke: My marriage to my hubby is a year now. I am yoruba while he is ibo. He lost his job while we were preparing for our wedding and we are trying to put together a business. We live near his family and had to feed them most times which was not easy. My dad died and we were not put to shame on needs. His family always behave that he owes them for their upkeep and they all do nothing. They didn't come for my dad's burial and will still come to feed at my house with tipped up noses. Recently, his brother who has no regard for me came and I didn't bother with him as he doesn't greet him. His family stopped coming to our home and his mum too. Do I have to be concerned about this? They want me to be visiting their home but I don't like that even if we live near. Advise me as I don't know if this is peculiar to being married to people from other tribes who their families won't give them space?you would never be regarded until you bear him a child.....a male child! don't even bother wasting all your efforts trying to please them for now.....concentrate on your civic duties in the bedroom and get a bouncy baby boy! the igbo tradition is deep, you should have read "things fall apart" like 59 times before marrying an igbo man to understand their culture........ good luck! |
debosky: How many goals did Titi score in his first 10 games? Not bad with room for improvement is what I'd say.the arsenal board and arsene wenger should share the blame. far majority of arsenal's goals were alex song > van persie or walcott > van persie route.....if anything, wenger should have strengthened those pathways but he sold 2 of those players to barcelona and man utd! arsenal fans should ask questions - what's the economic sense behind those transfers? how much do arsenal fc owe the banks to be that deludedly desperate to murder the geese that have been laying the golden eggs for them? |
jidegirl12: @Bukason sorry but I can only answer 1&2 but leave it to the expert on this thread.you are 12 months late...... |
Cant-fit-through-the-door-except-sideways-fat.. U gonn help me??
https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/photos/stylus/114342-sidibe_gabourey_large.jpg |
Yes because am fat.... What u gonna do about that?
how fat are you? |
see this obtuse negro......any game torres fails to score must mean he's had a bad game! some of you charlatans know nothing about football and shouldn't be discussing it! without mata today, chelsea were pants! di matteo's squad management is questionable - he committed too many resources in the carling cup game thus the obvious fatigue in their general play today! the support was nonexistent for torres...... hazard and oscar had a combined total of 3 miserable key passes in 90 mins.....of course, that kinda support should have generated a dozen goals for torres...a team that refuses to create chances for their striker would gnash it's teeth.....it's a simple law of nature....you reap what you sow! |
slimyem: i don't mean anything per se...i didn't proffer any solution cos there's no real problem here except a big-mouthed husband......a barking dog that cannot bite! I'm saying the woman probably doesn't mind her husband talking down on her and has accepted it.That explains her just shrugging and strolling off to the kitchen....the woman cannot be bothered - she must have known her hubby just opens his mouth for the sake of it! who knows - he must have been drunk when making such a condescending statement about his own wife.... |
Guam: pls i need only a loan of 500k personal or any with colletarel worth millions and we will pay back with interest 700k in one monthwhat collateral are we talking about here? a house? your car? your girlfriend? |
